The Oura Ring is sleek and innovative, but its value is questionable. Between the high price of the ring and the required subscription, it feels overpriced—especially when competitors like Samsung, Apple, and Garmin offer similar health tracking without ongoing fees. Rings are also easier to lose than watches, making the investment riskier. With competition heating up, and giants like Apple and Google improving battery life and health features, subscription-based models like Oura and Whoop may struggle to stay relevant. The time has come when many people no longer realize how many subscriptions they’re paying for yearly—and in most cases, the total adds up to hundreds of dollars. As awareness grows, more consumers may reject the idea of “renting” wearables.

The product is great and I love it, this Best Buy was not a good experience, they didn’t listen to my request, I asked for an exchange, and instead of telling me they don’t do exchanges for oura they refunded me and said to get the item I wanted I had to buy it and it was $100 more than my original purchase when I asked them to undo what they did they told me they already completed the refund and there was nothing else they can do, they are a scam and had no touch of customer service at all, I understand they couldn’t do an exchange but just let me know that before you start changing things and charging me more money for the same product grapevine Best Buy sucks

A little big and bulky for a woman I think , however my wife likes it so far.

If you are using the Oura Ring without a subscription or membership, it is not really worth it. Without the subscription, you can only see the current day's information and limited activity data. You cannot access your previous days’ data or detailed insights. To view historical information, trends, and detailed analysis, you need to purchase the subscription plan. Otherwise, the functionality is very limited. So unless you are planning to take the membership, the Oura Ring may not provide full value.

Bought the ring for my daughter. She loves it. She's wants to figure out all the features of the ring.

Very impressed with the metrics this collects. I have this alongside my Apple Watch and I feel this has helped me track my Menstrual cycle in better predictions and gives me great insight about my rest and recovery after sleep. I only subtracted 1 star because it requires a mandatory monthly subscription but otherwise fantastic tool for health insights.

I was super excited about getting my Oura ring but could not handle the size. All of the vitals were super cool and accurate. If they made a smaller more feminine version I would buy again. It just looked like I was wearing a nut on my hand so I returned it
