In a class unto itself!! Between the app, the appearance, comfort, and overall performance, this is by far the best biometric ring on the market! A little pricy, but worth every penny! Checks all vitals in a very non-interference basis. Highly recommend!

The ring is a game changer. It even monitors when I had the flu. It gives good tips when logging food as well. It covers everything I would want to know about. The battery lasts at least a week and it only takes 1 hour to charge when it needs to be charged.

I’ve tried fitness trackers and smartwatches before, but the Oura Ring is the first wearable I’ve actually stuck with and still want to wear every day. The sleep tracking is the big reason. It’s not just “you slept 7 hours,” it actually helps you understand how you slept, how recovered you are, and whether your body is ready to push hard or needs a lighter day. It’s been weirdly accurate, and it’s helped me make better decisions without feeling like I’m being nagged by an app. I also love that it’s low-maintenance. No big screen, no constant notifications, no charging stress every single day. It just quietly collects the data and gives me useful insights. If you care about sleep, recovery, and building better habits without wearing a mini phone on your wrist, the Oura Ring is absolutely worth it. It’s one of the few health purchases I’ve made that actually feels like it paid off.

I’ve been using this about a month. Information on sleep and stress status is helpful. There tends to be gaps in heart rate when working out and I prefer the watches for exercise stats. But overall, the information is helpful. I do wear a silicone cover a lot of the time to keep it from getting scratched.

The battery life is INSANE! It last about 7 full days without having to charge it, the best investment I’ve made in regards to my health! Also, it’s much more than a sleep guide, it tells a you when you’re average heart rate is off, symptoms of sickness or strain & much more. Invest in this! Don’t even think twice

Love my Oura Ring! Used the fit guide to make sure I ordered the right size. The Oura app is an additional cost, but I think it’s worth it. I love the insights, especially on my sleep and stress. Downside, it’s not the best at picking up activity so I do still wear my Apple Watch for workouts. But it’s on point for everything else, especially if you can’t sleep in your watch like me.

Like - fit, comfort, look, capabilities, charging and days of battery operation. I wear it 24x7 I especially like step counts, heart rate and sleep monitoring.

Sleep Tracking: The ring’s sleep stage analysis and readiness score are helpful for seeing how your body bounces back, especially if you’ve been under stress, sick, or training hard. Where It Falls Short Paywall for Wellness: After the trial, you have to pay $6/month for most features. Without a subscription, you lose access to HRV trends, detailed sleep, temperature, and more. That means the $350–$500 you paid just gets you the hardware—wellness is extra. Luxury Pricing, Questionable Value: The base price is steep, and the gold version costs even more (and yes, the gold can tarnish—search the reviews!). You’re paying for a brand and a shiny finish, not extra function. Opaque Data: Oura only shows your lowest HRV average at night, not your highest, nor your real-time ups and downs. If your number seems low (mine is often ~19 ms), that’s by design—it’s showing your most “strained” period, not your day’s average. This can be confusing and discouraging. Step Count Drift: After recent updates, Oura’s step count dropped (sometimes undercounted), while RingConn overcounts. Neither is perfect. RingConn: A Cheaper, Broader Lens All-Day HRV: RingConn measures HRV continuously, so you can see how stress, calm, and even emotions affect you throughout the day. No subscription required. Half the Price: $200, with core metrics, including HRV, and no recurring fees. App Needs Work: No way to see weekly/monthly HRV trends (at least as of this writing), which makes long-term improvement hard to track. What Companies Should Learn Stop Gating Health Data: HRV isn’t new; HeartMath has offered this tech for decades, focused on healing, not profits. Wellness shouldn’t be locked behind a luxury paywall. Transparency and Choice: Let users see all their HRV data—lowest, highest, averages, and real-time—and empower them to interpret it meaningfully. Price for Access, Not Exclusion: These rings could transform public health if made more affordable. Apple and Oura, why not partner with mission-driven orgs and make HRV tracking a right, not a privilege? Bottom Line If you want the most validated HRV data for overnight recovery, Oura is still the gold standard—but it comes with a monthly toll, luxury pricing, and data “curation” that hides more than it reveals. If you want more raw, day-long HRV (with some trade-offs in accuracy), RingConn is a worthy challenger at half the price. If I could, I’d blend Oura’s science with RingConn’s access and HeartMath’s spirit. Until then, Oura gets 2–3 stars from me—not for lack of innovation, but for putting wellness behind a velvet rope. This product does require a subscription, for most of the features to work, that we weren't aware of but overall the ring seems to work as advertised. There are a ton of insights this product provides about your physical responses to daily activities including basic information about your sleep patterns.

I love this ring. I love seeing my sleep scores and activity. It detected minor signs of strain in my body and two days later I was sick with a double ear infection and strep throat.
