The Oura ring has been an excellent addition to my wearable tech line up. I wear my applae watch during the day and take it off at night and the Oura ring 24/7 except to charge and actives that might damage it. It’s very comfortable to wear and the battery life is excellent.

Like - fit, comfort, look, capabilities, charging and days of battery operation. I wear it 24x7 I especially like step counts, heart rate and sleep monitoring.

This is an amazing piece of smart health tech. I thought it was going to duplicate everything my smart watch does but it’s much more accurate and provides sleek data. Even though the price is a little steep I’d highly suggest the investment. It is very comfortable compared to previous generations since there are no bumps on the inside.

I have been using my Oura Ring for the past month and love it. Mostly using for sleep tracking and good health. The Oura Ring has me hooked on getting proper sleep habits and timings!I only use it for the sleep tracking at this time.

I’ve been wearing the ring (on my index finger) for about 7 days. I like the way it looks and it’s comfortable. I was a little concerned about the bulk of the ring but it’s not a problem at all. It doesn’t interfere with holding a golf club. And barely notice I have it one. I’m still learning how to interpret the data and the capabilities of the ring but so far, it’s great.

Cute. Good idea in theory. However I prefer my Apple Watch. No subscriptions. Tells time. And is strapped on and does not need to be adjusted every second. The main thing I liked was it can track your sleep score, and the Apple Watch is to bulky to wear to bed, and you can log your food.

The part I really like about the ring is that I can get information when I sleep. My watch is too bulky to wear at night. Plus with days of power reserve, I don't worry about it not lasting the night. This really allows me to get full day feedback on my health metrics.

Sleep Tracking: The ring’s sleep stage analysis and readiness score are helpful for seeing how your body bounces back, especially if you’ve been under stress, sick, or training hard. Where It Falls Short Paywall for Wellness: After the trial, you have to pay $6/month for most features. Without a subscription, you lose access to HRV trends, detailed sleep, temperature, and more. That means the $350–$500 you paid just gets you the hardware—wellness is extra. Luxury Pricing, Questionable Value: The base price is steep, and the gold version costs even more (and yes, the gold can tarnish—search the reviews!). You’re paying for a brand and a shiny finish, not extra function. Opaque Data: Oura only shows your lowest HRV average at night, not your highest, nor your real-time ups and downs. If your number seems low (mine is often ~19 ms), that’s by design—it’s showing your most “strained” period, not your day’s average. This can be confusing and discouraging. Step Count Drift: After recent updates, Oura’s step count dropped (sometimes undercounted), while RingConn overcounts. Neither is perfect. RingConn: A Cheaper, Broader Lens All-Day HRV: RingConn measures HRV continuously, so you can see how stress, calm, and even emotions affect you throughout the day. No subscription required. Half the Price: $200, with core metrics, including HRV, and no recurring fees. App Needs Work: No way to see weekly/monthly HRV trends (at least as of this writing), which makes long-term improvement hard to track. What Companies Should Learn Stop Gating Health Data: HRV isn’t new; HeartMath has offered this tech for decades, focused on healing, not profits. Wellness shouldn’t be locked behind a luxury paywall. Transparency and Choice: Let users see all their HRV data—lowest, highest, averages, and real-time—and empower them to interpret it meaningfully. Price for Access, Not Exclusion: These rings could transform public health if made more affordable. Apple and Oura, why not partner with mission-driven orgs and make HRV tracking a right, not a privilege? Bottom Line If you want the most validated HRV data for overnight recovery, Oura is still the gold standard—but it comes with a monthly toll, luxury pricing, and data “curation” that hides more than it reveals. If you want more raw, day-long HRV (with some trade-offs in accuracy), RingConn is a worthy challenger at half the price. If I could, I’d blend Oura’s science with RingConn’s access and HeartMath’s spirit. Until then, Oura gets 2–3 stars from me—not for lack of innovation, but for putting wellness behind a velvet rope. The ring looked nice at first and the design is not bad, but after just a couple of weeks the color changed and it started to look worn out. It also got many scratches very quickly, even though I was careful with it. Unfortunately, the quality didn’t meet my expectations.

I love my ring. The battery last extremely long and I can go days without having to charge it. I recommend sizing up.

I had tried the gen3 before switching to the gen4 and honestly the fit is SO much better. Since the sensors are more flush with the ring nothing presses into your finger like it does with the gen3. So comfortable and I love the insights it gives me as well as the battery life.

Love that it tracks with the Health app. I would recommend getting the ring covers to prevent scratches.

I gave this to my grandson for Christmas. So far he really likes it. Great battery life and good metrics. He gives it a 4.9 out of 5 with the only deduction being that he wished they had half sizes.

A gift for my sister. She loves this ring. Wears it everyday& says how much she loves it everytime I see her. You can track so many differnt things like a fitness watch but even more in depth. Great purchase.

I bought the Ring for my husband with the expectation that it would be a convenient option for notifications and activity tracking, and in terms of basic functionality, the product does its job. It’s comfortable and practical for monitoring certain functions, but for us, it fell short in the features we were looking for. The performance is good, notifications come through without issue, and the battery life is adequate. However, the device doesn’t offer as many options or customization as we had hoped, making it less useful for my husband’s daily needs. Pros: Basic functionality works well Comfortable and easy to use. Good battery life. Cons: Limited in terms of additional features. Not as versatile as other similar devices. Overall, the Ring could be useful if you’re looking for a simple device for notifications, but if you’re after something with more features, it may not be the ideal option.

Amazing little piece of tech. For me I wanted the data but prefer my mechanical watches over the apple watch I had been wearing. This solved that and its more comfortable than my orginal wedding ring which was a concern. If your on the fence go for it, 100% worth it
