Oura ring five is unbelievably comfortable. Their new Five is smaller and lighter than the four models. It’s so attractive. The gold color of the ring looks like real gold. It blends flawlessly with the other jewelry I wear on my hands. The battery lasts over a week and charging it is a simple procedure. I love the sleeping tracker. It’s both beautiful and highly functional.

I wound up exchanging for a size 9 which fits well. Great features. I luv the realistic heart beat when checking the bpm. I do find it a little challenging to sleep with it but I'm that way about all rings. I would like to be able to input and track my blood pressure and weight in the app also. I'm hoping to get more used to it because it is definitely a practical product. I like that it comes in different colors also.

Excellent Health Tracker in a Sleek

I recently bought the Oura Ring 5 and, so far, I’m very impressed. The design is sleek, comfortable, and discreet, which makes it easy to wear all day and night without really noticing it. What I like most is how simple it makes health tracking. The sleep insights, readiness score, heart rate tracking, and activity data are presented in a clear and useful way. It does not feel overwhelming, but it still gives enough detail to help me understand my habits and make better daily decisions. The ring also feels premium and well built. Battery life has been solid, and the app experience is intuitive. I especially appreciate how it focuses not only on exercise, but also on recovery, sleep quality, and overall balance. It is not a cheap product, and the subscription model may not appeal to everyone. However, for someone who wants a comfortable and elegant health tracker without wearing a smartwatch all the time, the Oura Ring 5 is an excellent choice. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone interested in improving their health awareness in a practical and stylish way.

I’ve been wearing my ring for a few weeks now. It holds a charge for at least a week, maybe a tad longer. It’s lightweight and comfortable to wear. I wear it all the time, except when showering. I love the info about my body, how I slept and my steps taken. I like how it’ll let me know when my bedtime is coming up. Taking photos of foods, beverages to learn more about what you’re eating and drinking. Tracking my monthly cycle and lets me know when it’s coming. Plus it does so much more. There’s no notification vibrations, like a smartwatch. So wearing it to bed isn’t bothersome. Plus you wear it on your non- dominant hand. Do buy the sizing kit, find your size and wear it to be sure you purchase the correct size ring. Wearing this ring has motivated me to live a healthier lifestyle.

I’ve only been wearing my Oura Ring for about a week, so a ton of features still need time to calibrate. It’s really interesting how it tracks and learns your habits to give accurate results. I absolutely love the size and color (I got the gold), it looks awesome and doesn’t get in the way of workouts. I am really looking forward to seeing all the long-term stats. Just a heads-up: the actual ring feels slightly tighter than the plastic sizing kit. I was comfortable with a 7 in the kit, but the real ring feels a bit snug sometimes. I am keeping it because Oura recommends sizing down if you are between sizes so the sensors can gather accurate data. If it ever bothers me, I can just switch it to a different finger. Battery life has been great. Five days after a full charge, I am still at 27% battery.

I’ve been using the Oura Ring 5 for a few weeks now and I’m really happy with it. The sleep tracking has been the most useful feature for me, and I like how comfortable and lightweight it is. The battery lasts several days, and the app is easy to understand. It has helped me pay more attention to my recovery, activity, and overall health. It’s a bit of an investment, especially with the subscription, but if you’re looking for detailed health insights in a ring instead of a smartwatch, I think it’s worth it. I would definitely recommend it.

Product review title: Oura Ring 5 Product review: I really like how comfortable and lightweight the Oura Ring feels for everyday wear, especially compared with a smartwatch. It is easy to sleep with, looks stylish, and gives helpful insights about sleep, readiness, activity, and recovery. The battery life is strong and I do not feel like I have to charge it constantly. I also like that it is discreet and durable enough for daily use. Overall, I would recommend it for anyone who wants health tracking without wearing a bulky device. Would you recommend this product? I like this upgraded and smaller Oura Ring 5! It works really well, it stays charged for MUCH longer than the Oura Ring 4, has more features, and is more accurate. i like the smaller size, too. Whatever they coat it with stays strong and durable for years. Doesn't get all scratched and messy looking. I would recommend this product to all.

    The Ultimate Tiny Health Tracker

    |

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This is my first Oura Ring but not my first smart ring. Before this Oura Ring, I used a ring from a close competitor. I decided to wear both for a week to compare the data. It felt strange wearing both, especially on fingers that are right by each other. Regardless, I found this to be the best way to obtain accurate data from both rings. While I will have some comparisons in this review, this will mostly be about the Oura Ring 5. *TLDR at the bottom ================= IN THE BOX/SET-UP: The Oura Ring 5 comes in a small white box. Nothing particular stands out from the unboxing experience. It was pretty simple, and there is nothing wrong with that. There is a charger and some documentation in the box. But you need to provide your own charging cable, as there is no USB-C cable included. Set up is quick. Download the Oura app, and the app will walk you through the setup. This took about 5-10 minutes. ================= RING FIT, DESIGN, DURABILITY: In terms of fit, I chose a size that was snug but not tight. Ideally, you want a size where the ring doesn’t move around on your finger. While the ring fits great, I did find that with sweaty hands, the ring tends to spin on my finger. It's worse when you wear gloves. This does create inaccurate data, but it's not a dealbreaker as my hands aren’t sweaty all the time. But overall, the fit is comfortable. It almost feels like I’m not wearing anything. This is the smallest smart ring yet. As I was unboxing the ring, I was amazed by how tiny the ring was. Compared to my previous smart ring (see pictures), it is significantly smaller. Holding things feel much more natural compared to my previous ring. Along with the tiny size, the ring feels like you’re holding air. It really is that light. If the ring was the same color as my skin, I think it would certainly blend in. On the inside of the ring, there are several sensors, with the bulk of them on one side. There are 2 photodetectors, 2 triple LEDs(red, green, IR), a temperature sensor, and an accelerometer. There is also a tiny mark on the outside that indicates the direction the ring should be worn (palm side of the hand). I have worn this ring for about two weeks now. I’ve gone on runs, strength trained, worked and washed my car, helped someone move, and much more. After doing all of this, there isn’t a single scratch on it. This ring is extremely durable. The ring is made with a fully titanium design with a superhard PVD(physical vapor deposition) coating. While it was able to withstand everything I did these past two weeks, I am curious how durable the ring is over time. My old smart ring was also fully titanium but with a tungsten carbide carbon coating. About a year and a half later, the ring has held up, but the coating on the outer edges is starting to rub off (palm side). This Oura ring won’t last forever, but I am curious if this Oura ring will experience the same fate about a year from now. ================= OURA APP: As someone who’s never used the Oura app, I can confidently say it has a great UI. The app is easy to navigate, and the information you need is available as soon as you open the app. Do note that early on data will be limited. Some data will be available the next day. But there is data such as your Body Clock data that won’t be ready until day 90. There is a lot of information, but I will cover the main stuff. Readiness Score: The readiness score is a score that shows how ready you are for the day. There is a lot of stuff that contributes to this score, like your resting heart rate, HRV balance, sleep, and activity balance. Activity Score: This score measures your activity levels. It tells you if you are training frequently, your recovery time, how many alerts you received for inactivity, and even your total calorie burn. Sleep Score: This is one of the main reasons I started using a smart ring. To improve my terrible sleep schedule! What I find seriously impressive is how accurate the sleep/wake up times are. Some other information you get is total sleep(for the night), deep sleep, and timing. Heart Rate: The heart rate tab is useful. It tells your heart rate when you're sleeping, when doing activities, and even when you’re stressed. It lays out the data in a nice line graph so you can see your heart rate throughout the day. Vitals: The Vitals tab is filled with quick snippets of your health, recommendations, and alerts. For example, under the sleep tab, there is a sleep debt that lets you know how much sleep you need. Under the readiness tab, there is the Symptom Radar. Although nothing in particular has come up for me, this tells you if your body needs extra care. This can be due to lack of rest, the cold, or severe stress. There is so much more to the app that I couldn’t cover. There is stuff about measuring blood oxygen levels, enabling rest mode (for those all-day rest days), meal tracking, and much more. The app also informs you when there are new software updates. But if you are serious about your physical health, the Oura app will give you plenty of information to improve and maintain your health. ================= MY 1 WEEK OF USE: As I said in the beginning, I wore my old smart ring with this Oura Ring for the week. My old ring provides about the same information as my Oura one. The question is, which one is more accurate? This question is tougher to answer without something else tracking these health metrics, like a smart watch, which I don’t own. But I did my best to wear the rings consistently and on the same fingers (one on index, the other on middle). I strength trained a lot with this ring. Some exercises were harder to perform than others, but overall, you can work out with the ring on. Anytime I worked out, I turned on the live activity feature, which is a nifty feature that tracks your heart rate, active calorie burn, and the zones (1-5 zones) your heart rate was in. My older ring is significantly thicker, so gripping dumbbells and barbells felt much more uncomfortable. On the other end, I was able to comfortably deadlift with the Oura ring. But with barbells that have more aggressive khurling or heavy dumbbells, you start to feel more discomfort. Especially with row movements that require significant grip strength. I do recommend a protective cover if you plan to work out with the ring, as over time the khurling can start to wear on the coating. The ring is water resistant, so there is no need to take it off when doing anything with water. When it comes to sleep, it does have accurate/sleep wake times that align with my sleep time and alarm. It is significantly more accurate compared to my previous ring. There was about a 30-minute average difference between my old ring and Oura ring. This Oura also does a better job of tracking your time in bed, which can probably be due to either the accelerometer or the temperature sensor. I love how the ring syncs with the app throughout the day. But this only works if your Bluetooth is on. My older ring required that the app be open for the data to sync. But you don’t need your phone with you the entire time for the data to sync. The ring has a memory capacity of 3 days of data storage. Which is on the shorter side and much less compared to the previous gen, which stored data for up to one week. My older ring also was able to store data for about 6-8 days. In terms of battery life, it’s honestly great. On a full charge, it lasted about 8 days. Of course, over time, this battery life will diminish. But if I can get about a week of battery towards the end of this ring’s life cycle, that’d be awesome. Now I will cover items that my older ring does better than the Oura Ring 5. One thing that my older ring does better than this one is location reporting. I hope I don’t lose the Oura Ring, as the location is more inaccurate than accurate. It's worse when you’re in an urban area. The app has a difficult time pinpointing the exact address that the ring is located at, which my older ring did do a better job at. Another feature that my older ring performed better in is reporting when you should move because of the lack of activity. I WFH a couple of times per week, and when there was a long time of inactivity, my older ring would consistently let me know to move. While the Oura ring does send push notifications of inactivity, these are less consistent. ================= CONCLUSION/TLDR: Overall, this is an excellent upgrade from my previous ring. Location accuracy and lack of push notifications aside, this ring excels in reporting more accurate health metrics compared to my previous ring. If you are someone who is looking to take control of their fitness, sleep, and overall health, the Oura Ring is an excellent piece of wearable tech. You will get useful information like a sleep, activity, and readiness score, which tells you how ready you are for the day. This ring does require a subscription, compared to my previous ring that was a one-time upfront cost. But if you value data accuracy and constant innovation, Oura does an excellent job with that. I wholeheartedly recommend this smart ring!

    The Smart Ring, Perfected.

I have been a big fan of wrist based fitness trackers for a long time, and when smart rings came onto the scene I thought they were a great idea but were a bit clunky. The Oura Ring 5 has completely changed my view of this, as it has been an exceptional smart ring and to me exactly what new tech should be like: seamlessly blending in with your day to day life. PROS: - The top thought everyone is going to think when they unbox this ring is how thin and light this is. This is why (among reasons listed below) this ring is a game changer. It is so incredibly thin and light, it looks and feels like a normal ring. It’s not obvious you are wearing a smart ring, it’s thin, it’s sleek, and it looks amazing. - The Deep Rose color looks fantastic as well. I have been wearing this ring 24/7 for over a month now, and I can firmly say the ring color still looks amazing. I can’t notice any micro scratches, the color still pops really well, and I think the color is a great mix of gold & brass to give it a unique look that does not look over the top and loud. - Speaking of durability let me say again, I wear this for everything. Day to day life, sleeping, swimming, yard work, home projects, working out, cardio, etc. And this ring really is durable! Although it’s comfortable, it took me a few days to get used to it but now I forget I have it on most of the time which is exactly what I want. - With a smart ring, you need an app to use this. And the Oura Ring app really is a fantastic app. It takes a really cool approach in talking to you and showing you your data in a way that feels digestible and not overwhelming. If you want to dig into things you can! It tracks so much with activity, sleep, heart rate, cardio age, heart health, stress, HRV, body temp, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, and more. - The Activity Tracking is really cool. Essentially you can go about your whole day - and let’s say you swim, go on a run, and do some yard work. You then go on the app whenever you want and it will say “hey you did 3 workouts, can you confirm them?” And you select what workout it was (overtime it gets smart and identifies them based on your trend) and hit accept! - For a bit I wore the ring and a wrist activity tracker at the same time to compare them. I found the Oura ring to be more accurate since it has a more reliable heart sensor (can tell when you are working out or not), measures calories burned well, and tracks steps really well on that too. - Sleeping is one of the best places this ring shines. I used to wear a wrist tracker for sleep, but once I stopped wearing that and only did the ring I had no idea how much more comfortable that is! On top of that, comparing the two sources showed the Oura Ring provided greater detail and did a much better job understanding that your sleep schedule might not be perfect every night but how does it fit into your overall activity and overall stress. And that really was a cool way of seeing results! - Lastly, the Oura Ring lasts me about 1 week until I have to charge it which is amazing! The app notifies your phone when the battery is low and will tell you how many hours you have left until it dies. But the ring charges pretty quickly and then you are ready to go another week. CONS: - This ring has to be used with a subscription. Without the subscription you get 1% of its functionality. - The Ring only charges on a charger that fits your size ring. So a size 7 and size 9 can not share the same ring charger. It would be nice if the rings charged on a wireless charging pad or something like that. - Although I really like the Oura Ring App, I’d like to see some updates to it. Add more widgets for the Home Screen (not just sleep widgets) and have an iPad app would be a few ideas. BOTTOM LINE: - I think people see the value in fitness trackers to help guide you on being more physically active or just keeps an eye on things. But more in this day, there is push back on the amount of screens we have in our life. The Oura Ring 5 feels like something from a Sci Fi movie that we have in our life right now. It’s so light and thin, it blends into your daily life like you have no idea it’s there. But when you want to use it, the Oura Ring app is amazing and gives you a really great overview of how you are doing. The more you wear it, the more it gets to know you and your trends, and the better it can suggest ways to improve. I really think anyone who gets this ring is going to completely change their view of how fitness / health / sleep trackers should work, and they are going to fall in love with the Oura Ring 5!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I upgraded from the Oura Ring Gen 3 to the Oura Ring 5, and I'm very happy with the upgrade. The slimmer fit is one of my favorite improvements—it feels more comfortable and less noticeable during everyday wear while still looking stylish. The gold finish is beautiful and looks much more refined in person. It pairs well with my other jewelry and feels premium without being flashy. Setup was quick and easy, and I'm excited to continue tracking my sleep, activity, and overall wellness with the newest version. If you're considering upgrading from the Gen 3, I think the improved design alone makes it worth it. So far, it's been the perfect upgrade!

My order for the Ring 4 was out of stock for so long with my size 6, then Ring 5 was released, I was worried about the ring size, it turned out the size 6 fit well which was the smallest size for the new Ring 5, the new Ring 5 is significantly thinner and narrower—it finally feels like a normal piece of jewelry instead of a chunky tech gadget. It's so much more comfortable to sleep in and wear 24/7 without it getting in the way. If the thickness of the older models bothered you, this is the exact upgrade you’ve been waiting for. Highly recommend!

    Great alternative to a smartwatch

My wife and I both wear smart watches. Me every day, her not so much. She just doesn't like wearing a watch all that much, but at the same time she loves getting the fitness data a smartwatch shows. Getting the Oura Ring 5 for her was the perfect option. We had looked at several fitness rings in the past, but they all just looked too big and chunky for her. The Ring 5 is quite thin, and is just the right width to make it look like a stylish ring on it's own. No one would even guess it's a Smart Ring. The Ring 5 is available in six colors. My wife picked the deep rose color, and it's really cool looking. They're made from titanium and include sensors for heart rate, temperature, blood oxygen and an accelerometer for movement tracking and movement identification. These are unisex rings, so you only need to pick your size and color. When you order one of these, they will send you a sizing kit that includes eight different sized plastic rings to try out. Oura mentions that the ring sizes are not traditional sizes, so you don't want to order a “10” because you know a traditional size 10 ring fits. Wear the plastic ring around for as long as you need to get a feel for if it will be the right size for you, then just order that size. The included charger will be the same size as your ring. If you're reading this review, then you're already aware of all the things the ring can track and monitor. It tracks sleep very well and shows a graph of all your sleep stages throughout the night. If one of the things you're interested in tracking is your sleep quality, this is the ring for you. While Smart Watches that we own can track sleep as well, who wants to wear a watch to bed? And since our smartwatches only last about a day and a half on a charge, it's difficult to find the best time to charge them if we want to wear them night and day. The ring is so incredibly lightweight you won't even know you're wearing it. You get Blood Oxygen Sensing that helps detect if your breathing gets interrupted during the night. Bedtime Guidance reminds you when to start preparing yourself for bed so you can get a good nights sleep. And at the end of the night you get a sleep score that lets you know at a glance how you slept. There are things like Readiness scores that use several combined metrics like heart rate, temperature and sleep to give you an energy score. It also tracks temperature differences combined with your heart rate to try to give you a heads up if you may be getting sick. There's a stress score that tracks your stress level with various metrics. Heart Health tracking tracks your heart rate continuously, all day and night and monitors why your heart rate changes throughout the day. It will even give you your cardiovascular age. Activity tracking works really well. The ring automatically detects your activities during the day and is able to detect around 40 different activities. It counts your active calorie burn and allows you to set personal goals. The focus of the ring is all about overall health and wellness, from physical, to stress, to heart, to sleep and of course activity tracking. If you're a woman, there are a whole bunch of other predictions and information specifically geared to women's bodies. Compared to our smart watches that have maybe a day and a half of battery life, the Ring 5 gives you about a weeks worth of charge. Which is great since you basically wear it pretty much all the time. The included charger base is sized specifically for the ring size you purchase. It's a basic wireless charger, but Oura does offer a battery powered travel case that you can buy. I did order my wife one of these for when we go on trips. It works like an earbud case with an onboard battery that can charge the ring five times. So when you consider each charge lasts about a seven days, that's a pretty much 35 days of charge using the travel case. Step counts are fun to look at and when my wife finished one of her walks, she sent me a picture of her app, which displayed the route of her walk on a map. Very cool. The app itself is well laid out and really nice visually. It will also let you connect the Oura app to a number of other popular fitness apps like Strava and myfitness pal. For my wife, this ring really helped her re-connect with activity tracking with the added bonus of a sleep tracker. The seven (or more) days of battery life really make it easy to stay engaged and not have to worry about charging every day. I really believe this is the biggest plus about these rings; that and the fact that they look like quality jewelry and not a sports and fitness tracker. It's really comfortable to wear with the inner section that holds the sensors being made of a plastic material, and it's incredibly light weight. My wife has had hers for a couple weeks now and there's not a mark on it, it still looks brand new. And she wears it every day. I think compared with other brands of Smart Rings, this one is miles ahead. Oura focuses a lot of attention on things like their sensor accuracy and peer reviews. They are truly serious in producing a product that's ahead of the curve in every way. They take health tracking quite seriously and have a team of highly qualified independent medical experts that act as their advisors. I'm impressed with Oura's story and the way they look at fitness in every day life for all people. This is not a phone company trying to make another product in order to corner the market. Oura is a company that does Smart Rings, period. They are passionate about health and offering the most advanced Smart Rings possible. If you're curious about them (and you should be if you're considering a Smart Ring), visit they're web page. They lay out everything you want to know about them. Really quality product from a company that's serious about health tracking.

The Best Health Ring Keeps Getting Better

I have been using the Oura Ring for the past four years, starting with Gen 3, then Gen 4, and now Gen 5. I have also tested several other health and activity rings, and Oura is still the best one by far when it comes to how the data is presented and the insights it gives based on the data it collects. The biggest difference for me is not the number of sensors or health metrics, but how Oura connects the data and explains what it means. Several rings I tested showed heart rate, sleep duration, activity, and temperature trends, but the data often felt like separate measurements. Oura does a much better job correlating sleep, recovery, stress, activity, and body signals into one clear picture. The biggest improvement with Gen 5 is the smaller footprint (40% smaller) compared to Gen 3 and Gen 4. It feels lighter, less bulky, and much more comfortable to wear throughout the day and while sleeping. Battery life has also improved, and Oura continues to introduce useful new features every year. The improved battery life also makes it easier to wear consistently without worrying about frequent charging. So far it lasted between 6-9 days based on the daily activity. The best feature is still the sleep analysis. I travel frequently for work, and my short or irregular sleep cycles are clearly reflected in the Sleep Score, sleep debt, and Readiness Score. The reminders to make up for lost sleep have actually encouraged me to take short power naps during the week and focus more on recovery. I usually review the sleep insights at the end of the day and compare Oura’s prediction with how active and energetic I actually felt. Most of the time, the correlation is surprisingly accurate. The Readiness Score is one feature I find more useful than the basic wellness scores on other rings. It gives me a simple indication of whether I should push harder, maintain my normal routine, or focus on recovery. More importantly, it explains the factors contributing to the score, so I can understand whether the change came from sleep debt, heart-rate trends, body temperature, stress, or recent activity. I also have Oura connected to other health apps, and it automatically records activities such as running and biking. The activity detection is good and has improved over time, but dedicated fitness apps are still better for detailed workout tracking. The ability to select a personal focus area is another feature I like. Whether the goal is better sleep, improved recovery, stress management, or increased activity, the app highlights the most relevant metrics and recommendations. Oura’s long-term insights also make the ring more valuable over time. I especially like the yearly reports, long-term trend maps, resilience tracking, and personal baselines help identify patterns that are difficult to notice from daily numbers alone. This is where Oura gets better the longer you use it, as the recommendations become more relevant to your own habits instead of relying only on generic health targets.. I have also started exploring Oura Labs, which connects health records and laboratory data with the long-term information collected by the ring. It is still too early for me to judge the accuracy, but it could become one of the most valuable Oura features. For Gen 3 users, Gen 5 is a meaningful upgrade because of the smaller size, improved comfort, battery life, and newer insights. For Gen 4 users, the upgrade may depend more on how much you value the smaller design, more accurate sensors, and the latest features. I have been a paid member for more than three years and feel the subscription is worth it. Oura is less of a fitness tracker and more of a complete sleep, recovery, stress, and wellness device. After using Gen 3, Gen 4, and Gen 5, I still feel Oura offers the best overall smart-ring experience.

This one feels a lot more comfortable given that it's smaller and light. Battery life is so much better and it is a lot stronger to scratches than the previous model.

The Oura Ring 5 is one of those products I wasn't sure I needed until I started using it. I've followed the smart ring space for a while but had never taken the plunge until now. As someone who has worn fitness smartwatches for well over a decade, I was admittedly skeptical that a smart ring could offer much beyond what my watch already provides. After a few weeks, I've come to appreciate that it complements a smartwatch rather than replacing one. The first thing that stood out was the design. I went with the Stealth finish, and the matte black coating looks fantastic. It has an understated, modern appearance that doesn't immediately scream "tech gadget." It's also extremely comfortable. After the first day or two, I mostly forgot I was wearing it. I was initially concerned about scratching it during everyday use, but after several weeks of wearing it while working, exercising, and doing chores and yardwork around the house, it still looks nearly new. Sleep tracking has easily become my favorite feature. I've always hated the feeling of sleeping while wearing a smartwatch, so I usually ended up sacrificing sleep data for comfort. The Oura Ring solves that problem. It's comfortable enough that I don't notice it overnight, and waking up to detailed sleep metrics each morning has been genuinely useful. It also automatically detects many activities throughout the day. Since the Oura Ring uses your phone's GPS for route tracking, I still preferred using my smartwatch for runs and rides when I wasn't carrying my phone. Activity detection was generally very accurate, though I occasionally had to make small edits. For example, one of my runs was automatically detected, but the workout ended a little earlier than it should have, resulting in a slightly shorter recorded distance. Fortunately, making minor corrections in the app was quick and easy. For me, the Oura Ring fits naturally alongside a smartwatch. I still rely on my watch for GPS tracking during runs and rides when I leave my phone behind, but the ring is capable of tracking many of the same metrics, including sleep, activity, and heart rate. If you're already invested in a smartwatch ecosystem, the Oura Ring adds a level of comfort and insight that's hard to replicate with a watch alone. I normally dislike recurring subscription fees, but Oura's membership includes enough meaningful insights and historical trends that I quickly found it worthwhile, and I plan to keep the subscription for the long haul. The app is clean, easy to navigate, and does a great job presenting your health data in a way that's actually useful rather than overwhelming. Battery life has also been excellent. Unlike my smartwatch, which I charge every night, the Oura Ring lasts for several days before needing to be topped off. The app also provides helpful reminders when the battery starts getting low, so I never found myself unexpectedly running out of charge. The included wireless charger is compact, fast, and easy to leave on a nightstand or desk. I also appreciated never having to worry about water damage. I've worn it swimming multiple times without giving it a second thought, and it has performed flawlessly. Overall, the Oura Ring 5 is a comfortable, well-built health tracker that fits naturally into everyday life. The excellent sleep tracking, thoughtful app experience, long battery life, and premium design make it an outstanding companion for smartwatch users, while also serving as a capable standalone tracker for anyone who wants detailed health insights without wearing a watch around the clock.

I used the sizing kit for 48 hours. Ordered the size 7. My fingers swell when I get warm and the 7 is a perfect fit. It’s tracking is great besides a few issues with it picking up me working out. Not really a big deal for me because I wanted it for my sleeping habits. It’s the most accurate device I have for my sleeping patterns. The battery is amazing. I charge it while I’m in the shower so I have no complaints.

I’ve been really impressed with my Oura Ring. The sleep tracking is incredibly detailed, and the readiness and recovery insights have helped me make better decisions about rest and activity. It’s comfortable enough to wear all day and night, and the battery lasts several days. If you’re serious about understanding your health and improving your sleep, it’s definitely worth considering.
