I’ve had a few generations of the Oura, by far the upgrade was worth it to me in comparison from 4 to 5 gen. The size, weight, and width of the ring matters a lot to me— also really like that they fixed the gold color. If you don’t care much for the difference in size and only for features, just save and get a gen 4. Oh, and battery life has been great, I’ve gotten about 8 to 9 days per charge thus far.

I really love the size change coming from the Oura ring 4. As a woman with small hands, the smaller ring is just way more comfortable to wear. I do think that the battery life is lower than my ring 4, but I'm rarely away from my charger so it isn't a huge deal for me. After wearing it since release too I've noticed that it is a little more scratch resistant, but I do still have a few scratches in the gold from things like doorknobs or holding car keys. My sensor data seems the same as my ring 4 so I wouldn't necessarily recommending upgrading unless you would benefit from the smaller size. My ring size between the 4 and 5 is also the same, the 5 might be sliiiiightly tighter but not enough for me to size up.

Super comfortable, and battery life is amazing. So much better than the previous gen.

I didn’t know how helpful the ring would be until after accumulating data for about 2-3 weeks. It’s great if you care for tracking heart and sleep health. Also great for tracking body temp in tangent with your cycle for women. Has definitely motivated me to tweak aspects of my everyday life to be healthier.

Thinner design than the Oura 4. So far product appears to work well . I had returned the 4 because it quit working correctly.

Very stylish rings, comfortable to wear, provide valuable insight

I previously was using a product from another manufacturer. Kind of like a starter biometric ring to see if I would like it. I decided to trade up to the OURA GEN five. I am so happy. I made the decision to move to the OURA ring. It provides a wider range of tracking of my health. Truly enjoy utilizing this ring and technology.

Love the new color and the thinner design. The recent update gives more health information.

While the new oura is much slimmer than the 4, and the gold is significantly more realistic, I have noticed connection issues immediately after purchasing which is certainly disappointing.

This new ring size is much more comfortable. I forget it’s there most of the time. The battery life is longer.

This Oura Ring 5 size 13 is tight but wearable. It looks good. I have to wear it on my left hand ring finger (the only finger where it fits) making me look like I'm still a married man. Been using Aura Rings for more than 5 years. I had sleep problems prior to getting my first one. The ring allowed me to train my brain to sleep through the night, It has allowed me to track my Deep sleep time (body recovery), REM sleep time (mind recovery) and total sleep. It tracks a lot more yet than what I use it for (exercise etc.) I highly recommend it. I'd give it a 5+ if it wasn't for the ring size issue.

I love this! I used to have the Oura Ring 4 and this is definitely an upgrade! It's lighter, thinner, and has excellent battery life. I think the thinner band looks very attractive and I am obsessed with mine! I mainly use it for tracking my sleep, cycles, and steps, and love to see how I'm doing with it!

Much prefer the smaller design and excellent battery life.

My first smart ring. Took a few years of reviewing them till I decided to buy. Have had it three weeks and still learning its skill, but really happy with the sleep, HR, and activity tracking. Buying it thru Best Buy and having it delivered to them for me to pick up was a seamless process.

Cute design. Comfortable to wear. More convenient than other health trackers. Battery life is shorter than expected and the Bluetooth connection is slow.
