The smaller profile of the Oura 5 is what triggered me to finally buy the smart ring. I'd been looking to replace my dearly departed Fitbit for a couple years. After talking to some experts on the algorithms and data used to create the personalized insights and trends, I had a short list of fitness trackers I was considering. More than a month of wear and I am so impressed with the Oura app. The ring only needs charged about once a week and I absolutely love the smaller profile.

The battery life of the ring is great, it’s as comfortable as any ring you might buy but the biggest plus is that it’s a smart tracking device that you can wear without any thought. It’s not a watch you may forget to throw on or charge, this is a ring that you can wear in your day to day life and forget about. The app is great and intuitive. The subscription isnt the worst but it would be nice if oura would sell us a complete product that isn’t locked behind a subscription paywall. It’s great for what it is, but not perfect.

Having smaller hands and fingers, I mainly upgraded to the 5 from the 4 because of the benefits of being 40% smaller. The size and comfort difference is noticeable for me, but if you have average size to larger fingers is the switch necessary? Probably not. Make sure you are sure on your sizing. I ordered a 9 because that's what I was wearing in series 4, but had to go to a size 10 for the 5 because of how they retooled the contact sensors in the ring, and it was just too tight. I'm not sure if the sizing kit accounts for the way the sensors make contact with your fingers, but just be aware you might have to try a couple different sizes even if you're already in an Oura.

Ring is lightweight and the color (Deep Rose) is exactly what I expected. The battery life lasts for several days and it’s an extremely comfortable fit as I wear it while sleeping since purchasing the product.

Longer battery life & smaller = better. Overall feels more like a real ring. Would highly recommend

I was worried that wearing a ring all day and night would feel uncomfortable or distracting, but that turned out not to be the case. After the first day or two, I barely noticed it was on my finger. It is lightweight, doesn't get in the way of my daily activities, and has been easy to wear while working, sleeping, and exercising. If comfort is your biggest concern, that was the biggest surprise for me.

Battery life is good, clean design, and comfortable.

Recently purchased two for my daughters. So far, both are very happy and with the rings and the apps and how much the ring helps them keep track of their activity. I will now purchase one for my wife but not yet. Battery lasts about one week and does not bother or impede their routines. Both daughters wear them on their index fingers.

Great product, tracks sleek, exercise, calories burned and more. I was not a fan of wearing the Apple Watch to bed or swimming with it. The ring is comfortable and no issues while working out.

the Gen 5 is a great upgrade with size and battery, gives you great insight into health metrics etc.

This ring is Sleek and comfortable. Stay charged for about 9 days before needing to recharge.

I recently got the Outer Ring Five, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The standout feature for me is how super light the battery is, and it lasts much longer than the previous version, Outer Ring Four. I’m very happy with this improvement and have had no issues at all. Honestly, I don’t have any criticism, it’s exceeded my expectations in every way. I would confidently give it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars!

It is very comfortable and much slimmer. The battery life is also wayyy better than my previous gen 3. However, the sizing is off. I tried the sizer and it said size 10, but had to return for a size 9. This was within 10-15 mins and my fingers did not swell significantly. I read another review that also mentioned something similar. So just be wary when sizing.

Hardly take this ring off. Battery life is amazing 4+ days. I only take it off to charge and it charges quickly. So comfortable with the newer sleek design. Iv had so much better data on myself. And it even knows when im horse back riding. Love love love

I bought the Oura Ring mainly to improve my sleep, and it has exceeded my expectations. The sleep and readiness scores are very helpful, and I love seeing my progress over time. It’s lightweight, stylish, and comfortable to wear all day. Definitely worth it!

After having an ultra human ring which eventually didn't have enough battery to last the day, the oura ring 5 is everything is was wanting. As a musician it also tracks when I play my instrument which is super cool. I find the measurements to be accurate and am impressed with them.

I have tried whoop, fitbit, apple watch and what not but none of those can come close to this ring. Its 100% waterproof, gives you all the information you needs about body vitals, sleep quality and on top this is so stylish. It has made me focus on my health so much, Best innovation ever

Helps a lot with keeping specific track of my movements and sleep patterns. As someone with a sleep disorder, this is especially important for me to generate reports and how to help manage my sleep issues. Battery life is great and charges very quickly. Much more comfortable to sleep with than a smartwatch, which is partially the reason why I bought it.
