Overall, I have really enjoyed this product. The one thing that I am still getting used to is the sizing. I highly, HIGHLY recommend either going into a Best Buy to use their sizing tool, or ordering Oura's sizing tool online. I love how this not only tracks my health in several aspects, but also allows me to add tags to each day, and search by tag. Doing this can help with seeing trends in how my life/choices impact my body. Do I still use my Apple Watch for climbing workouts and HotWorx, yes. However, this is now the tracker I wear 100% of the time.

I love my oura ring so far! I’ve had it for around the month and love the sleep data. Also, I know it has some criticism on workouts, but I compared it to my Apple Watch and it they weren’t too far off.

All the data I'm looking for in a small wearable

This is my 3rd Oura ring. I keep coming back to this fitness wearable because it's small and it gives me the data that's important to me. The sleep data is especially significant because I have COPD and irregular sleep habits. The sleep data includes average blood oxygen and breathing regularity information which is very helpful for me. I also appreciate the chronotype alignment graph to give me some insights to my sleep patterns. Even though it's expensive and the battery has a relatively short lifespan (around 12 to 18 months), I'll continue to wear the ring until something better comes along. One thing I have to mention though - Oura customer support is extremely poor, as in nearly non-existent.

    Beautiful, but redundant device

Beautiful design, and looks good on the hand. The hardest part for me is that my fingers will swell and shrink, and sometimes the ring was either very tight or very loose. The battery life was long, so it was able to record a very consistent amount of data. One negative is that it’s a separate device than my watch, and my watch has all the capabilities of the ring. Essentially, I don’t need both devices.

Pros: - This ring has been a great tracker for my menstrual cycle (basal temp) and sleep score! - The battery life lasts for 4-5 days and charges very quickly! To Note: - There are scratches but they’re not bad which is expected with daily use. - It took getting used to wearing a thick ring but it doesn’t disrupt daily activities. - I switch it between my left and right index finger Cons: - It doesn’t track activity as well as a smart watch; it guesses the activity (dance for me) and I have to update it - I wouldn’t wear it while lifting weights as the thickness of the ring gets in the way (and it will get more scratches)

Pretty much loving it. If you like wearable tech and don't want to have a watch on this is great. No message interuptions like a watch. I've continued to wear my fitbit while wearing the ring. They are comparable but not sure I need the added membership of the Oura Ring. I haven't seen the value of the monthly fee yet. The ring matches my other rings just fine. It is a bit wider than what I usually wear and that took some getting used to but it is very comfortable. I strongly suggest you wear the temp one for a while 1st. I'm more of a 6 1/2 and since they are not available in 1/2 sizes it took me longer to determine which size I would be most happy with. I eventuality decided on the 7 but it does turn while on my finger some times. Not 100% sure it is worth the price but it is a nice piece of jewelry that keeps up with an active lifestyle. I also love that I can wear it in the water - no issues at all with it being water proof although I have not gone diving with it and there are some restrictions about the depth. The battery life is OK and the charging time is extremely fast. I get notifications that I'm using alot of the battery life in the app. Now I put it on the charger when I get in the shower and I don't get that notification anymore. It is gold jewlery so it will scratch with daily wear. I also have it on my non dominant hand to minimize that.

I love it! The biggest draw to get the ring was tracking my sleep and my menstrual cycle but the ring is so beneficial to so many other things. More and more things get added every so often. I would also recommend a ring cover if you lift weights and workout, it will get scratches.

The Oura Gen 3 ring is comfortable to wear, and I like how it breaks down your activity, sleep and readiness. I was looking at the Woop strap and this was a better value.

I was curious about the Oura ring when it launched and after finding out it worked with the Natural Cycles app (The only FDA approved app for contraceptive use) I was sold! Set up is easy and the app updates consistently with no issues. The battery life on the ring is great and you can quickly charge it when you shower or take a break for the day (Although you can wear it in water as well, this is just a good time to charge it) The app has a lot of information on it, lots of different and more advanced terminology than I'm used to having had a fitbit. I have not really had any technical problems with it, the app is user friendly but it'll be interesting to see how it evolves. The temperature features with NC app work well and I like the feature that it lets you know if your temperature is rising to know if you're getting sick so you can rest. The sleep tracking is very advanced and it tells you a lot. The features for meditation and breathing I haven't used a ton yet but I like the soundscape and multiple options. I like the live heart rate monitoring option for walks and runs, hopefully they add other workouts for this too eventually but the ring is already doing a lot! I'd recommend this product if you are wanting to be more aware of health facets in an easy and non-cumbersome way. A ring is way easier to wear than a wrist wearable and it's not bulky. I would also reccomend this specially if you use natural cycles or want to use the NC app as a contraceptive or even to get pregnant.

The aura ring is a wonderful experience for those whop are curious about their health and sleep habits - this rings tells you a lot - it is way easier to wear than a watch and the wonderful thing about it is that you can save the data to your aura app and the Apple Watch Health app.

Bought an Oura ring because I kept seeing people recommend it so I wanted to try it out and used my HSA to cover the purchase. After having it for a few months I highly recommend one. It does all of the same features as an apple watch or smart watch but it is more versatile. You can wear it casually or with nicer outfits- it’s not an eye sore like a smart watch can tend to be. The only downside is that the ring can get pretty scratched up so I would recommend a silicone cover especially when working out. This definitely isn’t something you NEED or need to break the bank over but it is cool to have.

    Detailed Information

The Oura Ring provides great information regarding body readiness for activity and sleep data. This seems to be more detailed than the Apple Watch gives as it measures body temperature, respiration, and light, deep, and REM sleep. It is more comfortable for me to wear a ring at night rather than my watch. The longer you wear it, the more it learns your body’s systems and can give you a more detailed picture of what’s going on. The “con” is that once your free month subscription expires, you either have to settle for less details or pay $5.99/month to keep getting the great details. At this time, I decided the information was worth it so I continued the subscription. The ring is comfortable for me to wear, however, I wear it on my middle finger vs. index finger as I found that when working outside, it is more apt to slip off of my index finger. So far, the ring has been durable. So I don’t feel like I have to wear it constantly, I take it off in the morning after I upload my data and then leave it off for a few hours before putting it back on for the day. Overall, I don’t like the expense of the ring, but the technology provides a lot of body systems information. It is helping me get my sleep together. The expense and the monthly subscription are what gets it a 4-star rating vs. a 5-star raring. If you are looking for something to give you more details than a smart watch, then I’d say get it if you can afford it. If not and you don’t want the monthly subscription cost, don’t get it as you lose all of the needed details.

I absolutely love the Aura Ring! It's an amazing piece of technology that helps me track my sleep and activity. The ring is very comfortable to wear, and I hardly notice it's there. It's also great for tracking my heart rate and body temperature, which is really useful for monitoring my health. I would definitely recommend the Aura Ring to anyone who wants to improve their sleep and fitness!

There are many in depth reviews of this product out there. After using it for 4 months I would recommend it if you’re looking for something more than just a smart watch. It tracks the important things for me like sleep and stress. A con to come might be the monthly subscription but I think it’s a must to enjoy everything the ring and app have to offer.

It’s honestly too expensive for what you get. There are very similar alternatives where you won’t have to pay an additional subscription each month. The battery life is about 3 days. The ring fits well and doesn’t slip around your finger. It’s also bulky. I wear it on my pointer finger and it’s not uncomfortable but it’s definitely noticeable if you put it on your ring or middle finger. If I could still return it, I would.

Very helpful item in tracking sleep and workout activity. I went to store for sizing and ordered what I thought would fit on my pointing finger. When the item came it just fit on ring finger. Don’t know how that would happen if I used the sizer at Best Buy. I have used it on my ring finger so not a big deal but be aware. I get about 4-5 days of use before it needs to be recharged.
