This is an amazing piece of tech in a small form factor. I would definitely say, go into a Best Buy for ring sizing. It takes a little getting used to because of the sensors on the inside of the ring. Almost feels too tight at first, but after a few days I got used to it. The gen 4 has smaller/flatter sensors. I got the black stealth version and wear it on my index finger. I haven’t noticed any scratches, but I do baby it a little. There’s a nice little indent on one side of the ring so you know that goes on the inside of your hand. It does pretty much the same as an Apple Watch, but if you want health tracking or sleep tracking and don’t want to wear your watch to sleep, this is the perfect alternative. Although it’s a little pricey, it’s definitely worth it, and you can even use FSA or HSA to purchase. I’ve found that in about 3 and a half days, the battery goes down about 30%. It’s rated for 4-7 days depending on usage.

I gave this as a gifts. They love it. Never been able to make the men in our life’s wear a ring. With this ring they do now and pay attention to readings. Best gifts ever

Love this ring- great minimalist fitness tracker. Only need to charge every few days. I’m a new mom so it’s helpful to track my sleep/activity and make sure I’m getting enough of both. Only down side is it scratches easily so recommend getting a cover to wear when working out/don’t put rings on adjacent fingers. I have small fingers so it’s still a little bulky for me, but as far as I know it’s the most minimal tracker on the market (before this I had a Fitbit on my wrist). Bummer about the monthly subscription for the app, on top of the cost of the ring itself.

I purchased the Oura Ring for my daughter and it has been truly amazing! She has trouble sleeping and the Oura Ring has been very helpful to show her sleeping patterns throughout the night. It shows the peaks of when she is awake and when she is in her deep sleep along with heart rate and other statistics. I'm very impressed with Oura!!

I am so glad that I purchased the Oura ring. I think this is a better choice for me than a watch wearable. This has been a game changer for me .

I replaced my apple watch with this device. Much easier to track my sleep along with activities. Only downside is the monthly subscription.

I have been wearing my Oura ring for a month, and it provides excellent information on my sleep patterns. Also, instead of giving me the same activity goals each day it provides a readiness score based on my overall heath and wellbeing. I was starting to get sick and it recommended I slow down because I had an elevated body temperature. (I checked using a thermometer and I had a low grade fever.) At that point I was able to put my activity goal into rest mode. The only complaint I have is that it doesn’t always register the correct number of miles during a workout.

This ring has been a game changer. I have always thought of myself as a pretty good sleeper and pretty much limited my assessment to "how many hours did I get". Using the ring has helped me understand how the rest of my day effects my sleep. Did I have a late meal? Did I have a drink with dinner? Was my room too warm? These are all things that I have noticed affecting the quality of my sleep because of this ring. The blood oxygenation tracking has also been amazing. Being able to see the times in the night when I may have been breathing irregularly (snoring heavily) is fascinating. I am definitely recommending this to my partner.

i love this ring. this is my second one and the only reason I bought a new one was I really wanted a different style and was not willing to turn the other one in. so new ring it is. i am pretty sure I have singlehandedly sold a dozen or so the way I talk about it. the sole purpose in the beginning was to monitor my sleep...and now it helps me track everything! so.. thank you for making this ring!!

I love how light it is and doesn’t need to be charged until 5 - 7 days.. Wear it at night and keep track of your sleep.

I have been able to control and track my sleep with this ring in a way that i wasnt able to do it with my apple watch, is very accurate and helpful.

I do really like how sleek it looks. I don’t really notice it on. The sleep and stress is my favorite part.

The purpose of the ring it was to measure my sleep patterns since I suffer from insomnia, so far it’s been good but is still too son to determine, the con for me it’s the fact it’s take some time to connect the ring to the app and the battery is lasting less then advertised, for me it’s been 2-3 days instead of a week

Purchased to replace a Heritage ring that no longer had battery capacity beyond 2 nights. While the the two styles are supposed to fit the same, my Heritage size 9 is definitely a little looser on my finger than the Horizon size 9. This worked out well for me, but thought I would mention for other switching styles. Big fan of the rings, but with the understanding of their limitations - I export all my data to Cronometer and love that it is easy to integrate Oura ring data there. Would recommend the ring to anyone who has read in detail about it and what to expect.
