HORRIBLE-DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY-HOLES IN WALLS

You would be better off installing this all by yourself. If I could give negative stars I would. They were to install all appliances this day. They drilled huge holes in our wall to put in the microwave and then when they went to put it up on the wall, the holes were drilled to low and they re-drilled the holes again! They DID NOT fix the holes and left the house with this left in our walls. They not only damaged them and ruined them but they DID NOT FIX them. No one at the store seemed to care to much and basically we were told that appliance install is one of the worst rated services in the US! Seriously excusing their behavior. They said they would work on getting them back out there to assess the damage and then fix it eventually. We don't have people parade through our home and weren't about to let the same group come back out to see what they did and assess their damage! Such a waste of time and money to pay them to install. We will NEVER purchase appliances from Best Buy again and NEVER pay for install. Extremely disappointed in the customer service we received. Seems to be a common occurrence lately at the stores.

Microwave

We had bought a dishwasher and microwave. We bought the first one on December 2 we had appointments for instalation 3 times and 3 times was canceled the day before. Finally went to the store and the manager was very professional she reordered and set up our delivery for March. I watch the prep video and said that they will take out the fan and replace the conection with a conection for the new microwave. When they came they said that the area was not prep. We called and they told us the video was wrong. Many things we were told but in other words we needed to put the conection for the new microwave. So we did! Microwave was installed and the installers left withought leaving us a book. So this has been a nightmare!

not what I expected

I was told I had to go buy the outlet box myself and have it installed. They drilled through my cupboards to install and then left all of the wood mess in my cupboard and on top of the new microwave.

Low Quality Installation

2 months later and still waiting for instalation

First available time for installation was 2 weeks from date of purchase. When installer arrived he said he could not complete install because it was an "advanced" installation and he was not allowed to do those and a different installer would need to come out and do that. We were told we could be contacted to schedule the advanced installation. A week later and no one contacted us so we went into the store and got an appointment for the installation. no one showed up. So a week later went back to the store and made another appointment - no one showed up again. So we changed tactics and placed a call to the installation team - after waiting on hold for 40 minutes we spoke to an individual and made another appointment. This time the person showed up and informed us we needed and advanced instigation and he could not do that. We would be contacted to have the advanced installation completed. Still waiting. biggest cluster ever -

TERRIBLE INSTALLATION!!!

Installer did not speak any English & could not communicate with me. Because they were soooooo late, could not communicate with me, they did a real rush job & totally damaged my cabinets, OUCH. I called to complain & your rep, had me send pictures of their damages, to submit a claim, BUT I have heard nothing from you... WHAT IS GOING ON BEST BUY???

Service never completed

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The installers arrived and quickly said they would be unable to remove the existing unit because the cabinet trim was blocking it -- i would need to find a contractor to do it. That was a fair request and I understand they didn't want responsibility for any damage to the cabinets. They were pleasant, but couldn't do the work. I was told i would hear from their manager to talk about how to proceed after I had the trim removed on my own. No one reached out to me to reschedule or discuss options. I had to pay my own contractor to install the new unit. I probably won't reup my geek squad membership since I wasn't able to take advantage of this benefit.

Charged for nothing

NEVER HAVE BEST BUY INSTALL!

I would never recommend using Best Buy for any installation if you live in a condo or co-op. They either didn’t show up, failed to get the required forms signed, or did not arrive within the building’s time frames—three times in a row.

Horrible installation

The dishwasher is still sitting in the middle of my dining room floor. The over-the-range microwave was installed. However, it is not centered over my range and the holes were drilled in my cabinet with a bad drill bit. The wood is splintered and needs to be filled in with wood putty so items will sit level. I purchased the Total Tech package to save on installation charges. In the future, i will hire installers on my own.

They sloppily cut up my backsplash which will cost me money to repair. They stepped on my carpet without covering their feet instead of exiting the kitchen the way they initially came in. They did not go over the instructions to register the product instead they tossed the booklet on the counter and informed us to read over it if we wanted to and walked out. The customer service was awful. If these are the type of people Best buy employ to enter the homes of their customers I may need to think twice before making any future purchases from them.

Not Prepared

Check wiring, space, height from stove etc. later found out they failed to note back wall above stove was tile. 2nd team came to install. Removed range hood. Got unit ready that had previously been delivered.Realized back wall was tile that bracket needed to be installed over. Told us they were not allowedto drill through & gave us Handyman phone # to hire for service & then they would come back. Hired our handyman who drilled & mounted bracket & installed microwave. Adam was very helpful & I believe got charges reversed. Recommend ltd training for installers to drill through tile.

Not on time, Anti-Tip not installed, what's next??

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.first of all it took 3 reschedules before BB claimed they got the right install team to install the microwave. they didn't show up on time approx 4.5 hours after the scheduled appt. and then they didn't even install the anti tip bracket which we were told was mandatory for the install to be warrantied. I was told that nothing could be done until the install was completed, now I'm being told that nothing can be done because the install is completed. What customer service huh? and I had to pay 200.00 for the service. Do you think its worth that?????

Charged me an extra $160!

Need to have handymen for installation

The stove went fine but the microwave needed a power source for installation. So they installed but then told me to call an electrician. When he came the guys from best buy had left 2 hot wired exposed behind the microwave with no ground wire causing a hazard, hung the microwave with two mismatched screws into the wood which couldn't hold it so it fell, attached a plate at the bottom into my wood cabinets instead of the wall so it was loose, and left the paper behind the microwave that could catch fire. They need to send installers that know what they are doing.

Installer must check their work prior to leaving

Our microwave will not open all the way so we cannot use it to its full extent nor capabilities. I contacted Best Buy and was told this was not covered under my TotalTech even though that's the service I used for the installation. I was told I had to pay to have it installed properly.... Not happy...
