Album of the Year

It mixes down's mastery of the guitar riff and great song writing and comes out with something amazing. I do miss Phil's growl as it is not as prominent on this however his soulful singing is very good. Unfortunatly this isn't as good as NOLA or Down II but even a "bad" Down CD is better than most band's best CDs. Buy it and join the Brotherhood of Eternal Sleep!

Incredible Album

It's one of the best Southern rock cd's in recent memory, and represents the can-do spirit of everybody in New Orleans, as well as the mighty return of Phil Anselmo, giving one of his best vocal performances in years. It rocks hard and grooves slow, reaching a perfect balance of heavy and mellow. Best album of the year!
