Very easy instructions to wire into my daughters Jeep Patriot. Everything works perfectly with steering wheel controls. It’s important to know before you start if your vehicle has factory amps or not. I can say now after learning the hard way that a 2014 patriot sport does not.

I’m glad I had an employee of Best Buy at the time of my purchase for a new radio for my Jeep wrangler. I am and not electronic savvy, I knew what radio I wanted and the features I was looking for, just didn’t know or aware that extra components were needed for complete functionality and installation. I knew I needed this part because it’s easy and I’m used to using my controls on back of my steering wheel. I’m glad it was told to me I needed this part to still be able to use them. So far no issues and I love my purchase.

Bought this to pair with a Kenwood screen in a 2012 Ram. everything went together great. Instructions were easy to follow. Still able to use steering wheel control.

Radio works great, installers were the best. Sales staff was the worst ! Absolutely ridiculous that you can't call the store ! And the people on the phone are useless !

Had to have Steering Wheel Controls with my new Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX deck. While the Geek Squad technician wasn’t able to program the buttons in two trips to the store, I had no problem programming it myself. The Short-press/Long-press functionality allowed me to use 12 if the 13 SWC functions offered by the Pioneer.

My Jeep came with a steering wheel interface which I seldom used as the factory radio had convenient knobs and switches. The new receiver lacks those conveniences, so I find I’m using the steering wheel controls more frequently. They work fine. The steering wheel switches themselves can be pressed accidentally, resulting in unintended radio channel changes. The volume control must be tapped repeatedly to increase or decrease volume as opposed to a ‘press and hold’ type of switch. That is not a flaw in this product, but a flaw in the steering wheel switch design, which I did not know until I started using the steering wheel controls more frequently. Your experience may be the same. Or not. YMMV.

Easy to connect. Little expensive. Work good with steering wheel control

Works well. Basically just match color wire to same color on stereo harness and will be fine. Don't forget to dial adjustment to number for your brand. It needs to mount freely so not pinched too tightly behind radio to work. As long as you install it correctly, it works well. I use it in Wrangler 2017.

We used this to install a new head unit in our Jeep Cherokee. It worked perfectly and the Steering wheel functionality works just as before. What's nice about this, is its so simple. Just set your radio brand code, and connect the wires and you are good to go. No fussing with deciphering wires, etc.

I had a new stereo installed in my 2011 Dodge Ram pickup. Riley from the Cape Girardeau, Missouri Best Buy installed it. He was very informative, i had asked questions about the options and he ran me thru the basics. I was very satisfied, I always buy my electronics from Best Buy because they are always go the extra mile to help if you have an issue with any products they sell. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for any electronics/ items you buy...

Hooked up easy to vehicle and is still working wonderful

This was installed professionally by the geek squad. It works great. I can use the stock controls to operate my after market Kenwood head unit. Im so excited

I used this to connect my 2011 Ram 1500 to an after market head unit. It was my first aftermarket install and it was a piece of cake. My steering wheel controls work just like factory without any reprogramming, just make your connections and plug and play.

All the parts working together did great. I could not ask for a better radio.

this thing was great, it even allowed my steering wheel controls to function properly, very easy plug and play, assuming you know how to match wire colors together, i'd use it again just wish it was less expensive

Worked excellent! Had purchased a different brand of the same product and had trouble getting my steering wheel controls to work. Bought this one and easily installed my radio plus the steering wheel controls.
