made install easier no problems sodered some wires

So basically I bought this thinking every piece would be needed to replace the stereo but it in fact was not the case. Only one piece was needed.

Need this item to complete my car audio installation!

Not sure if this was even installed on my vehicle when my new Radio was installed. The installation was so bad that I highly doubt that this was even used! I was charged for it though!

Instructions for installation are minimal. But I was still able to hook it up and it works well. It only kept the volume functions however.

Great addition to other car sound equipment. Would recommend this set

First module was shot right out of the box. Had to spend my time and money to go to another location across town to get it and drive back. Still doesnt allow for normal steering wheel operation of radio controls.

I am very unhappy with the purchase of the car radio. It has performed poorly from the very beginning and I have returned twice to Best Buy. The issues still have not been resolved. I GIVE UP.

This is ok if you want to retain only the audio controls for your steering wheel. Does not allow for hands free phone retention.

the install was easy because all the colors coming from the harness matched the colors on the harness for my stereo (Sony XAV-AX1000)

Man, this was a crazy mess of wires! The installation instructions are difficult to understand. Had to resort to YouTube for figuring this out. There were still some unused wires from the Jeep with no place to land. For all that money, the steering wheel controls still don’t work. There was no setting listed for the Boss radio so I left it on the factory setting. Waiting to talk to someone at the factory for a solution. Sigh…

This worked as it should. I recommend this ........

Fm radio bad reception, was better with the previous setup

So this thing, which is unfortunately needed to install a radio into a Newer Jeep Wrangler, does not do what you think it does. There are some setting on the unit you need to figure out based on your radio install. The rest is like wiring up a radio. There is NO fade control and that is because of the Canbus system. I would strongly recommend rewiring the radio, as i did, so avoid this costly piece of plastic

I regret to say that my experience at the Best Buy in Port Charlotte, FL was incredibly disappointing, to say the least. Unfortunately, the customer service and installation process were so inept that I was unable to evaluate the product itself. As a result, I had no choice but to return the equipment. From start to finish, the experience felt like a complete clown show, lacking any semblance of professionalism or competence. It’s clear that there are significant operational issues at this location that need to be addressed at the executive level. I strongly advise staying clear of this Best Buy location until they can sort out their customer service and installation procedures.

Worked perfectly and then the relay died and the stereo wouldn’t turn on. Had to replace it and it’s been working perfectly since.

Glad to be able to retain the installed radio control buttons on my steering wheel with my new head unit.

5050 shot right out of the box and failed. The replacement when gets heated up fails and doesnt work correctly.

Most of this is good but I now have a cable sticking out of my map box and the function button that on my steering wheel no longer works.

They were fine but I had to order all new parts so I was wondering if I can get a refund
