The northside spokane best buy. My best friend bought an expensive Alpine deck from this store and they installed it using this harness. The only thing it really does is retain steering wheel function and the installer didnt know what the heck he was doing obviously. My friend paid to have an entire system put in his ram 2500 and the installer couldnt figure out how to get the subs to work and that was only the beginning. The alpine deck has many amazing features (halo ilx-f509) like communication with the obd2 and nav and programable buttons and climate integration and so on and so on. Which is why its a 1500 deck. The installer chose to use the worst wire harness because the only features that worked were the steering wheel controls and on top of that he didnt even adjust the gain on the harness so his highs constantly made a popping noise if you tried to turn up the volume very loud at all(brand new speakers as well). To say the least he is highly disappointed.

Returned as it wasn't needed for my stereo installation

I would give zero stars if possible. Installed in Nov 2022. After several months of working it stopped. Later found this article: "RP4-CH11 Stops Functioning After Being Installed". I contacted PAC, the manufacturer. The issue was traced back a bad lot of ICs during the time of my purchase, but because I contacted them 2 years past my date of purchase, they recommended I just buy a new one or follow the hack in their article to workaround their defect. Not sure telling the customer to buy a new unit or take extra steps to hack around their product defect is really the response I expected.

Worst customer experience I've had in a very long time. Ordered a Pioneer head unit and all the recommended installation accessories, arrived to the store, waited for 2 hours, then the install tech said the best buy recommended harness won't work. So he instructs me to order a different harness from Crutchfield. I take a picture of the new harness from his monitor, order it and then come back next week. When I arrive next week, after an hour, I'm told they made a mistake and this is the wrong harness. They told me to order the WRONG ONE AGAIN. I decided to return everything and take my business elsewhere. Long story short. Question everything they tell you and make sure you have the right parts. These guys do not know what they are doing, so you cannot just trust what they tell you or you will end up very frustrated.

Mine failed after 14 months. Yup, 2 months after warranty. Contacted the manufacturer and they would not do anything about it. I get it. A warranty is a warranty but this is an expensive piece of the stereo puzzle to only last 14 months.

under advisement of another audio sounds installer, this was removed and returned for failure to interface head unit to vehicle's built-in functions.
