I bought this and four other electronic components to swap out my 2012 Honda Civic dashboard radio for a back up camera, as well as other features accessed through my phone. Best Buy did the installation, and I love the results: back up camera, hands free phone, Spotify, Google maps and other apps, --and I can still access an FM radio through the new console. A great investment!

I purchased this radio in July of 2023. BestBuy wasn’t able to install it until about mid to late August. Approximately a month after installing it, it randomly stopped working. It eventually came back on and I thought that was the end of it. Unfortunately I was wrong. It stopped again this year in June and stayed off for over a week I checked my fuses and everything seemed fine then it came back on again like nothing happened. Most recently though it stopped working completely. I took my car to a mechanic and was told that there’s power going to the radio and everything seems fine but the radio itself just won’t turn on. In just 2 years it’s dead in the water. The warranty is only 1 year long which means I’ll be needing to purchase a new radio out of pocket. I obviously won’t be buying the same one because I don’t feel like replacing a janky radio every 2 years. With any luck, this review will be the one that wins the advertised BestBuy gift card which would cover the replacement.

This part had to be reodered because they sent me a used part that wouldn't connect to my car. I had to reschedule another installation visit and wait to reorder the same part. Hopefully this one is a new part and not used. Maybe they just sent the wrong part.

Best to use the original factory installed system on steering wheels keep your original setting enabled

This was my first time installing an aftermarket head unit - being installed in a 2014 honda CRV LX. The instructions tell you what you need to know, don't overthink it. I also reached out to PAC and they have chat support that was also super helpful for any questions. Personally feel like the response time for volume and skipping a song is fast than the factory.

Good product. Used in a 2013 Honda Civic LX. Retained all major functions of the steering wheel controls.

Not a flashy buy, but it works as it should That is all that is needed to be known.

This part was necessary for a car radio installation that was to be a Christmas gift. Best Buy cancelled this order without notifying us. Only found out when We looked at our order to confirm our installation appointment. The part was listed as cancelled

The steering wheel buttons can be very touchy at times, and require you to press really hard and multiple times for it to register

Worst customer experience I've had in a very long time. Ordered a Pioneer head unit and all the recommended installation accessories, arrived to the store, waited for 2 hours, then the install tech said the best buy recommended harness won't work. So he instructs me to order a different harness from Crutchfield. I take a picture of the new harness from his monitor, order it and then come back next week. When I arrive next week, after an hour, I'm told they made a mistake and this is the wrong harness. They told me to order the WRONG ONE AGAIN. I decided to return everything and take my business elsewhere. Long story short. Question everything they tell you and make sure you have the right parts. These guys do not know what they are doing, so you cannot just trust what they tell you or you will end up very frustrated.
