While many times you get a second album that really stinks this one lived up to and exceeded my expectations. The songs here are funny and fun. I really liked the title cut and "Good Old Boys Club" as well as the first single "Biscuits." She's still sticking close to her acoustic style from "Same Park," but it works for her. Buy this album if you're a fan of more traditional country music or just want something a little out of the main stream.

I fell in love with Kacey back when I saw her at a benefit show about 2 years ago & heard Follow Your Arrow & got hooked. Her use of analogies and quirky lyrics make me relate to her. She has a way with words & truly speaks about real life. I can relate to this whole album.

This is a terrific CD. The music sounds like old school, classic country, not the mix of pop and country that has become rampant. But when you listen to the lyrics, you realize this isn't Hank or George. She deals with topics that are often taboo in country. It is funny to picture people to hum along without realizing what she is saying. A refreshing voice in country music.

Kacey Musgraves last album was purchased after hearing many positive reviews and via word of mouth and I must say was a great pickup and made my daily listening rotation. That being said, this album did as well. Kacey has a great voice, great musicianship and thoughtful lyrics. Couldn't possibly recommend this more, and I'm NOT a huge country fan either. GREAT ALBUM!!!

I really enjoyed her first album and had high hopes for the second. I was not disappointed (mostly). With the exception of one or two tracks, I find myself rarely skipping through the album and enjoying the different pacing and melodies that each provides. I do hope in the future that she finds some different themes to incorporate into her songwriting because there are some that are recycled. Overall it's a very good album and would highly recommend if you enjoyed her first album.

I remember when I first heard Kacey Musgraves on the radio. She has such a voice and a *sound* to her that you won't hear on any country artist. Her follow-up album to "Same Trailer, Different Park" is more great song writing and performances. This girl is definitely going places. Recommended.

There are a lot of good songs on this album, with only a couple that I tend to skip. They're in the same vein as Kasey's first CD so if you like her first album, you'll likely enjoy this one as well. However, I hope that in the future she'll start to branch out into some different themes, as this album shares similar themes to her first record.

a winner again for Kacey Musgraves ... you will love the songs like "dime store cowboy", "pageant material", and "family is family" ... she has a great sound and wonderful music ...

I really enjoyed her first album and was expecting the follow up to be more of the same. But it's not and that perfectly fine. Her second album has excellent lyrics and showed that she has matured in the time between recordings.

Grammy, ACM, CMA, CMT, any other award ceremony... you can just hand over the awards to Kacey now. Since I doubt Chris Stapleton's "Traveller" will be up for any of them because it's "too country".

I really love Kacey Musgrave's voice and sound she brings back to country music. It really reminds me of some older style country music.

A very good sophomore album which is hard to do when the first album was over played in the country music video channels and radio stations alike. The second album release was well coordinated by the record company and along with a big write up in Time magazine.

I love her use of words and how she makes something so simple so good. perfect album from beginning to end.

It's always nice to watch an artist evolve. Lyrically, Musgraves has a great gift for conveying emotion in a very no-nonsense way.

If you love Kathy Musgraves first album you will love this one. The songs are even better and I love her duet with Willie Nelson.

She's done it again gotta love ms.musgraves and her follow up to her smash debut album. I especially love the songs biscuits, family is family, miserable, cup of tea and late to the party

Totally worth a listen. Great music as Kacey's sweet voice takes the listener on a easy listening country journey.

Good old time country sound mixed with the new generation country. Great song writing and clever play on words.

Usually a sophomore album is not as good as an artist's first album. I was very mistaken. This is a fun album, showing country life as ir is, not as we want it to be.

This is her best album to date. Yea it's only her second one but she is true country. We love you Kacey
