I bought Panamax-8 to protect my TV, soundbar and other items. I had a major surge to this bedroom and the Panamax-8 sparked and lite up the room. The Panamax did its job and protected my equipment. Very Happy! I need to buy another one.

Thanks again to Best Buy for your recommendation for a Power Conditioner for our home entertainment components. Naturally we'd like to buffer even minor fluctuations in power to protect our system more than just a surge protector. This Panamax 8-Outlet unit fits our needs perfectly without any set-up at all.

This surge protector is phenomenal. The warranty that Panamax is second to none. This is a must have if you truly want to protect your tv and equipment.

Panamax surge protector has enough outlets to connect your whole home entertainment system and protect it. They will replace your protector if a power surge damages it.

About a month ago we had some really bad lightning storms. Nothing on our home was struck, but the cable box rebooted. Well what I thought was an innocent reboot was actually lightning riding the coax into it and it fried the HDMI cable from the box to my AV receiver and it fried the port on my receiver too. That stunk! So I searched for either an affordable UPS or power line conditioner. Several members of a online AV forum highly recommended this one. Setup was very easy, it covers coax cable and warranties your equipment. What more can you ask for? Oh yeah! It didn't break the bank either! I hope it works when I need it the most!

You plug all of your plugs into the search protector the cable cords into this and the telephone cord into this, so they're all protected from electrical surges.

I needed a surge protector for my high end electronic - flatscreen, audio system, etc. however I didn't want to spend hundreds on top-of-the-line units that are on the market. I found this piece to be a good compromise.

For the $70 sale price the value is immense. The Panamax undoubtedly helped the picture on the TV and having all the components, and, cable coax, and cable box wired through it made cable management easier. There is also a lot more confidence the TV will be much safer.

My neighborhood experiences several power outages per year due to weather etc. I have lost a TV, and DVR recorder because I put my trust in an inferior protector. I have already had a few power surges and had no issues. The Phone and Coax also help hooking up other devices.

The geek squad recommended this brand surge protector for my new home theater system. It mounts to the wall and keeps all my components running. When you spend a lot of money you want to ensure you have the best equipment to protect everything in case of a electrical spike or outage. This does the trick

So far it's doing its job. Most especially this last few weeks we are getting a lot of electric surge due to snow storm.

We purchased this surge protector when we got our new 4K TV and it works excellent. Easy to use and plenty of outlets.

If your electronics are an investigation than protect them from surges and this product offers supreme protection

I spoke to a Best Buy salesperson about this. Evidently this is a pretty high end surge protector. I hear about other brands that are "more affordable" but chose this because of the great reviews on it. I want to protect my investment of all my entertainment center devices.

This product, a relatively sophisticated surge protector, is easy to integrated into an electronic system, which is exactly what I did. It is highly rated to protect numerous electronic devices against strong power surges that can seriously damage the equipment. Such surges may actually never occur. But if one does, it will typically occur during a thunderstorm. The desired and expected function of the protector is preventing serious damage to electronic equipment, such as, a TV set and/or a DVD player, by absorbing the surge of electricity before it can damage the equipment. The downside, of course, is that one does not really know whether one's equipment will, in fact, be protected from such serious damage until an actual power surge occurs. Obviously, that surge will be the critical moment, and there is no way of predicting when or if it will occur. Indeed, as I said, it may never occur. Therefore, the device, the surge protector I purchased and installed, is simply a de facto insurance policy against possible damage to my very expensive electronic equipment. Buying this product is akin to purchasing and installing a smoke detector, buying a fire extinguisher, or putting on your seat belt. Obviously, this makes a review of the product, before the occurrence of a power surge, rather difficult to write and actually be helpful to other consumers. I could say that if there is a surge, and the protector prevents damage to my electronics, I will give it five stars. On the other hand, if there is a surge and my equipment is still destroyed, I will give the protector the fewest possible stars. That being said, I can honestly tell you that I sleep better knowing I have this surge protector integrated into my equipment. I suppose that is what we call "peace of mind". Not using a good surge protector is, in my opinion, irresponsible.
