Had a lightning strike a few nights ago and the surge protector seemed to protect all my electrical equipment. The one I had before let the lightning destroy my TV!

A necessary piece of equipment to protect your large investment.

I used this to protect & supply my home theatre system on the advice of my BB salesman and I am happy that nothing happened to my system. I am disappointed that one day for no specific reason, it just stopped supplying power. There were no recent storms or power failures in the area, and it worked the night before, so I was a little puzzled when it failed to turn on my system. I called and naturally, it was "just" out of warranty. I purchased it approx 14 months earlier for about $120.00. I could've spent more for a "super" surge protection/conditioner system to the tune of $200.00, but I don't have alot of components on my system and my salesman said "you should be fine with this one". If you want to protect your investment, then start here. Upgrade to the highest level you can afford and do some research on what you want protecting your system. I went with "good enough" and it almost cost me albeit, this protector, was the only failure and hopefully did what it was designed to do.

The power strip supplies power to TV and components but will never know if it is worth it unless other appliances get affected by surges or brownouts. Never had any problems before. Got it on the Geek Squads recommendation

This is a good surge protector. I own several Panamax models and this one comes at a good price point.

I havent had a chance to really use it just of yet but it seems like it does a good job for its usage.

Had the outlet about a month now, and so far I have not complaints........
