This product, a relatively sophisticated surge protector, is easy to integrated into an electronic system, which is exactly what I did. It is highly rated to protect numerous electronic devices against strong power surges that can seriously damage the equipment. Such surges may actually never occur. But if one does, it will typically occur during a thunderstorm. The desired and expected function of the protector is preventing serious damage to electronic equipment, such as, a TV set and/or a DVD player, by absorbing the surge of electricity before it can damage the equipment. The downside, of course, is that one does not really know whether one's equipment will, in fact, be protected from such serious damage until an actual power surge occurs. Obviously, that surge will be the critical moment, and there is no way of predicting when or if it will occur. Indeed, as I said, it may never occur. Therefore, the device, the surge protector I purchased and installed, is simply a de facto insurance policy against possible damage to my very expensive electronic equipment. Buying this product is akin to purchasing and installing a smoke detector, buying a fire extinguisher, or putting on your seat belt. Obviously, this makes a review of the product, before the occurrence of a power surge, rather difficult to write and actually be helpful to other consumers. I could say that if there is a surge, and the protector prevents damage to my electronics, I will give it five stars. On the other hand, if there is a surge and my equipment is still destroyed, I will give the protector the fewest possible stars. That being said, I can honestly tell you that I sleep better knowing I have this surge protector integrated into my equipment. I suppose that is what we call "peace of mind". Not using a good surge protector is, in my opinion, irresponsible.

I was hesitant to get such an expensive surge protector, but I like that I can plug the coaxial cables through it for added protection. There are plenty of outlets as well. I was told by a salesperson in store that Ethernet cables can be run through it too; however, after opening it I think it only supports telephone lines. Either way, it has worked great for protecting my TV, internet modem, gaming console and accessories.

Hey, look. I bought a new Samsung Series 8, a Bose Solo, and an Onkyo receiver, then hooked it all up with a PS2, PS3, PS4, Wii U, SNES, N64, Gamecube, AppleTV, and a modem, and recently added an SNES Classic and a Switch. You better believe I'm gonna invest in a solid surge protector! The surge protector itself is great, alternating outlets on top and on the side of the unit, giving you plenty of space for bulky plugs. It also has optional wall mounts if you want to anchor it (or just get it off of the floor). Definitely the best I've bought to date.

Just plug in and you are good to go. A little pricey but worth the money if it protects your electronics from damage. It always handy to have 8 outlets as there seems to always be something else you want to add later. Good luck!

I purchased this product for my electronic devices. Its a great thing to have to protect your tv's etc especially a large 65 inch television.

I would give this 5 stars if this had Cat-5, but it doesn't. Otherwise, it provides all the protection we need for all home theater items.

This product works great and protects my electronics while allowing for multiple items to be plugged in. It also has the ability to be hung from the making it easy to hide.

Easy setup with enough outlets to plug all components in. The real test will be if we ever do get hit by a lightning strike.

Multiple outlets. Bought it because lightning broke my TV. Had a protector on it but it was cheap. This one has a warranty on it so hope it works with my new TV

This surge protector is available in the Magnolia Section of Best Buy. It has more outlets than you could ever need. It provides excellent protection for my home theater.

Great power conditioner/surge protector! The eight outlets give you plenty of electrical outlets for all your other equipment around your television. Another great thing is that is can stand/lay on its side (opposite the plug in side) against the wall for tight spaces and it stays on its side. I am only using it for the electrical ports. I don't have a need for the other ports.
