Best Buy associate said Panamax is a higher end surge protector, and this version actually cost less than other brands' best surge protectors which have lower capacity. Several big lightning storms later, and my new TV is still working!

Have no issues with it. Easy Install. Have cable TV and blue ray player hooked up to it.

We have several devices that are plugged into this power unit. I have a home theater receiver that is also plugged in and I do not notice any power surges or lack of performance.

8 outlets goes quickly so make sure you count all your devices ahead of time and ensure this is large enough. So far so good. We ended up needing all the outlets including the one on the front.
