Hard to say what's not so great until something goes awry with the power. It was easy to set up (i.e., take it out the box and plug it in). Has more than enough outlets (even one in the front of the unit). The blue light on the unit is cool and makes it look like it is some hi-tech piece of equipment in the entertainment center.

This surge protector supposedly cuts off the power to your electronic devices immediately upon a surge, and this model was less expensive than the best Monster brand surge protector. The Best Buy guy said that Panamax is a superior brand to Monster, so it's made sense to get this one. We just had some big storms roll through with a nearby lightning strike, and all my electronic equipment is fine, so I guess it works! My previous TV was ruined by a power surge, so I really wanted to feel confident about protecting my new one. I think this was a good purchase.

I am so glad the salesman recommended this product because I think it has already saved my new tv by stopping the power surge from a storm and turning off everything. I am very happy to have this connected. When the power came back on in the house, it was a simple matter to turn the power on the Surge Protector back on, and then the tv, and everything was working fine. No damage to my tv.

I bought this Panamax to plug pretty much everything I have in my entertainment system and it works like a charm. You never really know the power of a great surge protector until you see your energy bill, and those this won't save you millions...it still helps. There really isn't a bad quality with this,and it looks cool as well with the blue lighted display.

I had some of the speaker terminals touching each other and the Surge protector helped cut off the power.

As of now, I find this is value for the money. Great product Great Price.

With majority electronics going to a brushed aluminum finish would have been nice if Panamax had done this in their new models as well. Minor hiccup, I prefer my stack match. This will end up going to a secondary TV set right now using on main surround sound. Does great job managing voltage, formerly had a "Christmas tree effect" when watching movies. Also cleaned some snow out of poor cable signal. Will require more outlets than this unit provides

Not all surge protectors are built the same. It has saved me from damaging my laptop during the power outage.

i would recommend this surge protector. It's easy to use.

I wanted something that would be attractive and functional. It looks great with a 50" flat screen TV and it has an adjustable middle shelf which allowed me to place the sound bar and bass speaker on the stand. The arrangement of the speakers, DVR, Blu-ray, and surge protector looks good and has gotten several compliments.

Before using this item, I had to use 2 surge protectors for the electronics used with my television. it is easy on the eyes and helps keep the cords under control.

When dropping thousands on a new TV and accessories, don't go cheap on outlet Surge protector.
