I bought the Panamax to provide protection for my new Sony XBR LED TV. It replaced an older Monster Power surge protector which still functioned properly but was bulky. The Panamax conditions the power in addition to being a surge protector. The sleek appearance with subtle blue lighting matches and compliments my Pioneer receiver and I feel much safer during lightning/thunder storms with the Panamax providing protection.

Works like a charm. Looks very professional and mixes well with all of my components. Would recommend to anybody that is looking for protection and style for their entertainment center.

I think this is a worthy purchase to go along with our new TV. More than a surge protector, this thing identifies problems with the wiring - something that may have killed our last TV and now is fixed. Keeping and eye on the current is nice, and it has features like small lights that illuminate all your component stack, which you can easily turn off / adjust.

I've always been an APC and Triplite fan for years for my electronics and decided to give Panamax a try. A friend of mine has had one on his old C band dish for years and it actually saved his electronics in a lightening strike, impressed me. I first bought a M8-AV-Pro model for my new 4K tv and assorted accessories and it worked great. Then Best Buy had this one on sale and I couldn't resist. Quality seems to be very good, case is very solid and the outlets are nice and tight when plugging cords into them. A few days after installing it we had a short power outage, tv equipment shut off, blue protection lights came on when power was restored and shortly after everything powered back up. Only complaint I might have is it seems the voltage reading is not real accurate. I have checked the AC line with two Fluke and one Ideal DVM and they proved the Panamax was about 2 volts low at times. Overall I wouldn't knock the unit for that, still one great surge protector for the money. The amber front lights are very nice even though I don't use them much. It is nice that both the lights and voltage display are dimmable and can be turned off completely.

I live in an area where we get a lot of power outages. When you purchase an expensive TV & sound bar, it would be a shame to have it die after your 2nd power outage. This power surge protector is designed to last through multiple power outages protecting your expensive computer or TV investments. Personallyy, I would not go without it & I'm a frugal person. There are cheaper ones, but I'd make sure you ask questions if going that route.

The first one we had lasted for 8 years and did it is job. We purchased the exact same one and it was super easy to reconnect all of our media devices

I bought this surge protector two years ago when replacing a TV. The product was on sale so I upgraded from a monster surge protector to the Panamax. Love this product.

This is an excellent surge protector. It is slim and fits easily in a rack, or for my purposes, under the rack. The display is easy to see even on the dimmest setting, so you know at a glance the voltage coming into the unit. I would not hesitate to purchase this unit again. I will look to panamax for all my higher-end protection needs.

Seems to work just fine. Looks great and it's a good slim size. A couple minor things I would change would be to add more outlets, and the downward shining lights are a funky yellow. You can turn those lights off if you want, but it would seem with all the other lights being blue, the down lights would be as well.

This is an excellent surge suppressor. There are plenty of outlets including one on the front. The display indicates volts and has directional lighting on the front.

Had to replace one I had for my home theater that got blown from a lightning strike. Had some equipment damage but was limited by this device thankfully.

This unit is great to have. All of my units are plugged into it. Nice to have a product that monitors all of your home entertainment center units. No longer to I need surgery protectors to plug into. Looks nice on the shelf and makes it easier To hide cords.

I did alot of research on whether or not something like this is actaully necessaery. The conclhsion I came up with is that it would end up making my equipment last longer by eliminating small surges that would tax the aplifier and sub. I sleep well at night knowing my equipment is protrected.

Just the right size for cost for surge protection. no need to overdo it with larger systems if you don't need it. This works perfect!

This unit rocks! It powers my entire system with no issues. The display is dimmable and works well along with other LEDs in my system.

Product works as promised. During recent storm the power dip (Brown OUT) in my rural area. The device shut all the electronics connected down immediately. I purchased this to protect a new television and surround system in my family room. It was a small investment to protect much more expensive items. I have lost computers, routers, and a television before due to power surge. Having gone through the hassle and expense of having to replace those Items. I had to buy this. It fits well with the rest of the equipment and provides a digital reading of the current voltage.
