Definitely needed if you have a home TX System

I have also used them on my son's Home TX system as well. Never a problem! I recently replaced my daughters power surge bar after her 2nd receiver failed. replaced the power surge unit with the Panamax Power Filter along with a Pioneer Elite Receiver (SC-82). 4 months and no more power problems.I

As capable but smaller than old Panamax units

Mine replaces a 10 year old Panamax with a meter rather than the current digital voltage display. The old one never had a problem and I hope this one will also be trouble free. My minor complaint is the more devices are using large AC adapters and it makes the available space tight.

Worth it for the expensive electronics

No issues what so ever and it does what it’s supposed to do. Easy set up and you just leave it. Super simple

This one seems just as good. Sold last one with my home or would still have it. Last one had been owned for 4 years in an area prone to electrical storms and frequent power outages

Great Protection

It was worth the money. Since I purchased my whole system (and surge protector) we had two power spikes which this handled without problems!

Also has the filter which really improves the video/picture performance. This surge protector is a must-have for any serious home theater enthusiast!

Great slim power conditioner

This replaced bad surge protector. Looks awesome in my media center and should it should last much longer than the bad surge protector did. No issues so far.
