I don't know if this is worth the price, when you start getting to the 100 range a ups might be a better option. Does have a good joule rating though

Kinda big outlet strip for tv stand area within view.

It just failed after 2 years and 2 months. Maybe spend a little more on extended warranty.

I saw this Panamax power strip on a one day special deal and thought it would be a good choice to add some more outlets for the bedroom entertainment system. However, upon close examination, the outlets are too close together so anything with a plug in module will block the use of the adjacent outlets. Very bad design given the way most products are powered these days. I also was not aware of the really bright status light (some may consider this a plus), which needs to be covered as it actually lights up half the bedroom. Overall the power strip has a solid build and I expect it to last for many years.

Any company that makes power strips that don't take into account the obvious need with today's technology for widely spaced outlets shows they just don't understand technology. They want to cash in on the USB power stripe craze, but don't care that for most people, they will be able use maybe half of the regular outlets on this. The worst part of this is just how much space the USB ports unnecessarily take up. Space that could have, and should have, been used to space out the outlets to allow people to use all of them. There are literally hundreds of brands of USB power strips now, and many do it much better than this, and for much less.

Looks great, sleek. USB are convenient but the extension capability (the sole reason I decided to smash that buy button) is abysmal. Might work for some simple things, but the power isn't strong enough to charge very fast and if you have something like an iPhone X, forget about it. The USB without extending works ok though. But only ok. And Let's face it, there was a reason it was on sale when I got it. It was a deal too good to be true. smh.

Voltage light is always red. Other surge protectors in my house are working fine!
