The shaver didn't shave well and left stubble behind on my husband's face. It would be good to have that info on the enclosed pamphlet and on site so people who want a good, close shave would know not to buy it.

Thank you for the feedback. The ES-LL41-K is designed to be able to shave comfortably to ensure smooth, close everyday shaving or quick, efficient trimming and detailing. While shaving, smart sensors detect differences in beard densities and adjust power flow for smoother cutting. The shaver does require a little time to get used to because your skin and beard need about a month to adjust to any new shaving method. If you need any additional assistance or questions answered, we have a support team that is available to address the questions that you have which is listed on the Panasonic website under the Contact Us option. Finally, a simple easy to use electric shaver with trimming blades! After using these a few days, I have to say I really like them! Like the paper in the box says, give yourself a few days or even up to a week or so to get used to using this kind of shaver and for your face to adjust to it! At first, I wasn't sure but after following that advice I really like them and the fact that you can get it wet! The trimmer/groomer works great too and is easy to use which brings me to the only thing I wish this shaver had and that would be a simple travel case to hold the guards and oil in. They charge relatively quick and can easily go for several days without being charged. The feel of the shave is just right but not so close as to cause burns/cutting which is something I have experienced with other styles of shavers - not fun and not a great way to start the day. That hasn't been an issue for me with these so far and for someone who has sensitive skin, these are worth trying. Cleaning them is easy and accessing the blades to do so is simple. Overall, I'd give these a recommend and would say they are worth giving a try especially if you've tried other styles of shavers and haven't liked the shave.

Pretty nice shaver. I used to use a blade then I got a rotary shaver but it kind of irritated my skin as I had to go over the same area a lot to get close. This is my first foil shaver and it works well. You can use it wet or dry and clean with water. A full charge only takes about an hour and lasts a long time. Handy led indicators are nice too. The trimming combs are a nice touch which I haven't seen with other shavers. Good price, I may be much better groomed now. Get one and clean up your face!

    Closest Shave Yet; Great Value

I've tried many electric razor brands over the years and this one gives me the best, closest shave. The head design and angle seem to be perfect for my face, giving me an efficient, close shave. The trimmer works well on my sideburns, I don't have a beard or mustache. I think this shaver is a great value, I don't think I could get a closer shave at any price. My only concern is I don't like rechargeable shavers because I've had a couple that didn't last. They failed to hold a charge when they got older. This one recharges quickly as it says, I hope it lasts.

    A good budget shaver

I had an Arc3 about a decade ago. It was the level up from this one with a pivoting head. You could lock the head but it always felt awkward and after three years it didn't seem to shave as well despite changing heads. I replaced it with a $50 Wahl Bump Free. The Wahl shaved well when freshly charged but didn't seem to have any battery management. Each successive shave on a charge would shave worse. After 7 years or so it wasn't making it through a shave at full speed. One advantage was foil and blade replacements were about $12. Enter this new Arc3. I like the fixed head. It still feels underpowered. It's constantly adjusting to load and seems to shave better when it increases power. It seems to take about 3x as long to shave over the Wahl. On the upside it's a much, much closer shave. As close to blade as I've ever had. I ran Braun's from the 90's till 2010 and this is a better shave. Can't speak to the new Braun's. The other thing I like is the trimmer on this unit. Works well and while I though the beard trimming attachments were a gimmick they actually work well. I use them on the back of my neck. The shaver was $30 off so $69.99. At that price I think it's a good value. I'm retired so there is no way I'm going to drop 200-300 beans on an electric shaver. Maybe they're worth it but this does the job just fine.

Excellent shaver and grooming kit for travelers

The ARC Precision shaver and groomer has excellent build quality. It’s a sturdy screen/foil shaver with an intuitive pop-out grooming blade that retracts into the back of the handheld. It’s charged with a simple 2-prong power cord, but unfortunately doesn’t work as a corded device with instant-on if the battery is depleted. The good news is that its able to recover quickly, with a 3minute quick charge which allows for enough time to shave or trim quickly. A full battery lasts about an hour total, so for a short trip (3-4 days) you could charge this up at home and not carry the cord or accessories if you just need a few touch-up shaves while on the road. Speaking of trimming, the grooming blade also comes with two adjustable guard devices that work well to set stubble or short beard trim levels much like larger trimmers work. These are functional, but not exactly convenient as they will likely be easily lost as they are both separate components, so keeping the travel case organized is a must. I’m not sure how they incorporate such an adjustable length guard into the unit, but this is a good solution. The shave experience itself is great. Very smooth and close shave results, and the trimmer works as advertised. No issues keeping my COVID cut under control and keeping my face clear for video calls with my colleagues. In all, this is a well-made, powerful shaver with excellent trimming/grooming capabilities and a great travel accessory. I would highly recommend.

I’ve had this razor for approximately 1 week so far. My husband and I have both used it. I love the trimmer that flips up on the top side of the shaver. I used it to trim up my husbands neck/hairline and it was a nice, precise cut with no issues. He used one of the trimming attachments to trim down his beard and he said it worked great with no hesitation at all. Wet mode with shaving cream Was a bit interesting BUT actually worked. In my mind I couldn’t imagine how it would still trim so well having the shaving cream inside but he had no problems with it or with cleaning it out after. The one flaw for my husband was trimming your neckline with the flip up trimmer. He was unable to really see the blade and actually cut too high at some points which caused him to need to trim even further. I’m thinking with practice and using it the process will become a little easier. The battery life seems pretty solid. Of course we charged it fully upon first using it but we still haven’t charged it, keep in mind he’s only using it for max 10 minutes for the last 5 days. I’d say overall, this is a quality razor/trimmer and worked very well for my husband.

    Good Shaver for Daily Use

I am the type of guy who gets that old school 5 pm shadow, so a daily shave is necessary for me and having something to easily shave in the morning and maybe in the evening is needed. This definitely does that for me. It gives a close enough shave for daily use, not as good as a razor blade, but its easy and quick and I enjoy that. This is the first foil shaver I've used, but I didn't have a problem with it. Cleans easily under a facet and nice to see they included some oil to keep this working and smooth. It has a trimmer and other attachments for the more breaded among us, but since I don't let it get long I can't say how effective it is. Only real downside for me is no included travel bag or a recharging station, so it takes up a bit more space then I'd like, but it gives a good quick shave that is smooth for daily driving without irritating me so its a win.

This shaver is great! It has a long battery life, works in the shower, and is able to get a close shave. I personally use this on my head and although it takes a few passes, it does get a very smooth shave. The trimmer guides and detail edger are a nice touch as well.

    Fastest Electric Razor I've Owned

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

My beard is medium to light. I've been searching a long time for this razor. This is hands down the fastest one I have owned since my "corded" Remmington. My last shaver was a Braun 3 and I had to go over the same area 10 to 20 times before it would get all the hairs. With my new Arc3 I cover the same area with a couple passes. My shaving time is about a third or fourth of what it used to be. The battery life appears to be good. I've had 6 shaves without charging so far. It sounds like it shifts gears every now and then and I'm not sure what that is all about. I'm hoping its not a problem.

I got this shaver mainly for the beard trimmer accessories and I'm not unhappy I did. As for cleaning up my beard, it makes it very quick and easy and no need to keep trying to hover my shaver over my beard to get things clean. The shaver came uncharged but it was quick and easy to just plug it in and it was ready to go. Comes with 2 separate beard guards, each with 3 different distances. So you have full control over how short your want to go with your beard. This made it really quick and easy to just go over my beard without being afraid of chopping too much off. Also comes with a bottle of oil for lubricating the b lades on occasion, which was a nice bonus. I'd say the only thing I with it came with was a small brush for cleaning the beard trimmer blade. After my first shave, it already had quite a few hairs kind of stuck inside the guard and popup blade. A small brush would have made it easier to clean out. The actual shaver part also felt pretty good. This is the first straight blade electric shaver I've tried. I usually go with the three circular blades. I think I like this one at least as much, but mind you I only used it to clean up edges of my neck and around my beard so I can't vouch for the full shave feel. Overall, I'm a fan of this shaver and will definitely continue using it and will enjoy having a more kept beard versus the unruly thing I had before.

Best Electric Shaver for Your Money

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I've used Remington Products all my life and I'm approaching 70 but they seem to be lagging in quality now. I bought the Panasonic looking for a better shave and quality and got both way above the Remington. The shaver works so smoothly and DOES NOT SCRAPE your face if you use it properly. The final shave is almost as good as a blade but not perfect. It feels like quality that will wear well for many years and doesn't cut any worse than a 5 blade either. Does a hand razor with 5 blades work better than two? Please I'm guessing the negative reviews are paid reviews but who knows. This the best Shaver I've used in my life of 50 years using electric.

Good replacement for earlier Panasonic model

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Actually, this gives me a faster, closer, more comfortable shave than the similar Panasonic model it’s replacing (which is no longer in production). The one drawback is that the earlier model had a more conveniently shaped clipper. This one, at right angles from the shaver, takes some getting used to and is not as easy to hold when trimming my hair in the back.
