This is my first time trying an electric shaver. I generally use a trimmer, so wasn't sure how this will work. But honestly, this has done a great job that I might switch to this long term. This shaver is pretty comfomfy when holding and it is not bulky or heavy either. I charged it to 100% battery before first use, as always with any battery operated device. There is a LCD display that indicates your battery percentage. The shaver comes with a case for easy storage and travel. Since this is waterproof, you can use it in the shower as well, plus cleaning under a tap is handy. There is a sensor that changes the power based on the beard density where you are shaving. On the back side of the unit (if you are facing the display), there is a pop-up trimmer that comes in handy for sideburns and mustaches. The outer foil and the inner blades are replaceable. This is more like an everyday shaver. If you have grown out your beard, you might want to use a trimmer first before using this shaver and continue to use it everyday to get the clean shave look. Overall, a really good shaver and I would recommend it to anyone looking for everyday use.

+ works very well regardless if you shave daily or weekly + station cleans and dries - maintenance (blades replacement and station refills) is not cheap, but not that bad comparing to mid-range shavers. plus you can switch to non-original refills, but I do not feel need to.

I have been using the shaver for about a week. Definitely works better than my old electric razor which after two years of using it, I was never happy and resorted to a manual razor, even after changing the heads 3 times in 2 years. I can already tell the razor is working better than the past and know that it takes a few weeks for the razor and my skin to get into sync with each other. I checked again tonight and still looking good. Can't wait to see how this is working in a month, but can tell that I am already happier with this than the other electric and definitely happier not too have to use a manual razor anymore,.

Panasonic makes the best electric shavers, and I have tried all the major brands. The closeness of the shave without irritation is outstanding, and I have a very heavy beard! It works best with a shave cream or just water, but will give a good dry shave when in a pinch. I highly recommend this shaver!

My beard may be a bit different than the avg. guy’s beard. I’m not a hairy guy, & I don’t have a thick, coarse, stubbly beard. If I don’t shave during the work week, I won't end up with a stylish 5 o’clock shadow until Friday afternoon--a look that a lot of other guys can achieve in just 1 day. But even with my soft, thin facial hair, this electric razor doesn’t offer the close shave I’d hoped for. In fact, the number of passes I’m forced to make over my face & neck to obtain a clean, whiskerless mug is both annoying & time-consuming. So, despite my slow-growing beard, if I don’t shave at least 2-to-3 times/week w/this electric razor, then I’m forced to revert to a disposable razor for a clean shave. In addition, I found that the shaver’s large head makes it a bit unwieldy & difficult to obtain a close shave in the area just beneath my nose. Whether shaving wet or dry & regardless of technique (going against the grain, stretching the skin, toggling the shaver head between the “free” & “lock” positions, utilizing the pop-up trimmer, etc.), I also found it difficult to get a clean shave under my jaw line, below my sideburns. I experienced similar difficulty in shaving the tiny hairs in the lower neck/throat area on either side of my Adam’s apple. Although some may prefer to utilize the razor’s wet shave capability, I don’t like to shave in the shower. Although I did try the wet shave option, it didn’t cut any better than the dry shave. So, after 2 tries at wet shaving, I went back to traditional dry shaving. As for the suggested shaving cream option, I don’t use shaving cream with an electric razor. For me, the whole pt. of an electric razor is convenience & time savings vs. dealing w/the hassles of a manual razor (running hot water, applying/removing shaving cream/gel, & cauterizing bloody nicks, etc.). Simply put: an electric shaver should provide a QUICK, safe, close shave without all the mess & fuss. Although a 2-yr. mfr.’s limited warranty sounds impressive vs. the industry std., a quick check revealed that the common recommended replacement parts (new blades & foils) aren’t inexpensive. So, I doubt I’ll be able to justify the expense of regular maintenance w/this razor (apart from routine cleaning). Instead, I’ll probably elect to put those funds towards the cost of a new shaver. Furthermore, the lithium ion battery life is just 3 yrs., & it isn’t intended to be replaced by the consumer. In some ways, this shaver could almost be considered an expensive disposable razor. On a minor note, the black travel case/pouch feels like cheap vinyl without any real padding or cushioning to fully protect the hardware & sensitive electronics. Overall, I'm a bit underwhelmed & disappointed, as I expected greater performance—namely, a closer, quicker shave—from a premium electric shaver at this price point.

Very nice Panasonic shaver. my dad and I both had Panasonic shaving razors in the past and they were trouble free for years. If you want quality that last, this is the one brand that will,

I have been using a razor and shaving cream for a few years since I haven’t found an electric razor that can shave close enough. That is until I tried this razor. Very close shave on the face. I tried it to clean up some chest hair and it wasn’t as close. If you are looking for a face razor that is chargeable then this is a good one to try.

I would highly recommend this Panasonic shaver. It's much better than the Norelco one that I had.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son as his old shaver had died. He’s only used it a couple of times but says he loves it. Instructions recommended he use it “wet” first. Hopefully he continues to like it.

Best electric razor I've ever owned. I have an extremely heavy beard and this is the first electric I've had that gives me a reasonably close shave.

Well it works pretty good I was using rotary it didn't give me a very close shave this does give me a fairly close shave it isn't perfect so if you are a perfectionist I wouldn't buy it but for what I paid it was a step up.

Great features just not the durability I would look for in a razor in this price range. My Norelco has been more consistent and not 1 problem. Wish I would have sent it for service prior to the warranty running out. Instead purchase a different razor and this just sat.

This shaver is works well. I like the integrated beard trimmer, but it doesn't deliver a comfortable shave when used dry. I definitely recommend using this unit with some kind of shaving cream.

I had a much cheaper panasonic shaver and this does a much much better job. I get less skin irritation with this one. I just wish it and the replacement blades were cheaper.

For the price, this razor doesn’t provide anywhere near a “close”shave! The instructions ask you to use it for 30 days before making judgement but I have seen no improvement!

Unless you have elephant or rhinoceros skin do not buy!!!! My skin is on fire after shaving 2 day old facial hair, this shaver should be illegal!
