Ive had the opportunity to use this shaver for a few weeks now. Comparing it to the same brand just an older model. Shaver is fantastic! Using it for a mid day shave after a morning shave always left my skin feeling a bit burned. I gave this shaver a try and it was great! No burned sensation! I think it does a very nice job of giving a clean/close shave. I don't have thick facial hair.

I upgraded to this unit from an Arc3 I had for about 4 years. I thought my Arc3 was great and didn’t think the 5 could be that much better but I got it on sale so I went for it. Let me tell you, the 5 is big improvement over the 3. The shave is much closer with less time spent shaving. I also feel like it doesn’t irritate my skin as much, but this could be because of the decreas in amount of time spent shaving. Overall I highly recommend this shaver, even over the rotary style ones (which I’ve also owned before).

Very good razor. Easy to use and holds a charge for two weeks.

It’s ok , my 10 year old norelco rotary head shaver give me a closer shave. I purchased this foil shaver to see if their was any difference. It is easier to shave, you don’t have to rotate the shaver in circles as the round head ones, so its faster. Overall i use the panasonic first and then finish off with the norelco, get me a pretty close shave. Overall i give this electric shaver an 8.

I've been using this razor for almost 3 months now after 20 or so years of using a regular razor. I have very sensitive skin and was worried about that but using shaving cream and going slowly with this razor I do not have any issues and I have a smooth face after shaving.

The last Panasonic electric shaver I bought lasted 8 years. I will always be a customer of Panasonic. Their quality is second to none.

You get what you pay for and this Panasonic shaver delivers like no other. Follow instructions and stay with it for 30 days if you’re a blade user. I prefer using it in the morning before showering as the oils that naturally occur on your skin act as a lubricant.

This is the 2nd Panasonic shaver I’ve owned. I’ve had the first Panasonic for 6 years now - it still works and has the original blades. I really didn’t need to buy a new one. Best Buy had a sale and I decided to pull the trigger. I’ve owned multiple expensive Braun shavers that gave up in a year or two. These Panasonics work amazingly well. I will never buy another brand. At this rate, I may never need too.

Bought this for my hubby and he’s baby smooth every morning, but without all the irritation and bumps he used to get with whatever he was using before. I’ve borrowed it a time or two and it does a fine job keeping legs smooth too!

I have been an avowed blade shaver, although I hate shaving. It occurred to me one day when I was running very late that if I had an electric, I could shave in the car. A light bulb went off. I started reading reviews and eventually settled on this razor because its reviews were as good as other razors that cost twice as much. I have been very pleased. PROS: shaves well enough; the battery lasts me about a week (I keep the charger and an adapter in my car so I charge in the car); easy to clean; shaves equally well even if I skip the weekends. CONS: it's an electric so it doesn't shave as close as a blade, but it works well enough. It gets better over the first couple of weeks so give it some time. I shaved twice the first day, but not since. Also, this saves me time because I shave in the car when I would otherwise not be doing anything. It is not faster than blade shaving. I have a long commute that's mostly interstate so it works for me. It take me probably the same 7-8 minutes to shave with this as it did with a blade.

Works well, easy to clean. Charge lasts 12-14 days. Very satisfied

If you want the "best" electric razor on the market, this is it. Use it with a tube-type shaving cream (Cremo, for example), and you'll get the closest shave imaginable - don't use canned foam shaving lather, as it doesn't work very well with electric razors. Even a dry shave is quite good with this razor - use William's Lectric Shave for the best results. The only real drawback to this razor is the cost of replacement blades. Look them up before you buy this razor, as they are obscenely expensive. And wait for this razor to go on sale, and you can get it for $100. And, if you want the battery to last, only charge it to 80%. Doing so will double the life of the battery - and yes, this trick works on phones, too. And finally, this is the LV-65. Get it over the LV-67. Panasonic used a less informative display and removed features - all to improve profits, I'm sure. Both razors shave the same, but the LV-65 is the better package.

Its a great shaver. I had recently bought the type by another company. I wasn't happy so I bought this one. the foil shavers for me work the best. Close shave, long battery life and all the features are well worth the money! You will be happy with this shaver. No complaints.

Amazing shave at a good price. Just wish I had bought it sooner!
