I have always used Norelco triple rotary razors and thought I would try this style after another Norelco gave out. I was pleasantly surprised with how close a shave I received with this razor from the first shave. There was no "give it 30 days for your face to get used to it" time. Very easy to use and clean. The pop-up trimmer works great and is a nice feature most Norelco's do not have (have to switch heads). I will not go back to rotary razors.

I had been using an Arc4 for about 4 years. Unfortunately, there is something wrong with the motor and it no longer can provide a consistent cut. I needed something that could cleanly shave my head and face (fairly thick growth), which the Arc4 did pretty well. Enter the Arc5, which does it even better. The addition of the fifth blade and slightly more powerful motor (might have to check this fact) provide a clean, smooth cut. Battery life is better, and cleaning it is still as easy as the Arc4 was. Though it's only been a couple of weeks, I definitely recommend the Arc5!

I love this razor, compared with Norelcos I have used for many years. I was surprised, however by the big tank that came with it, which is needed for cleaning. According to the instructions, it is complex to operate, and I am just doing without it.

A high quality electric shaver! Quietest and smoothest shaver I’ve owned. Only negative is that it doesn’t appear to have a travel lock on the switch

I love this shaver. I no longer have a Razor bump issue. The Razer charges very fast. Is easy to clean and cuts super close with no burn issues.

This is my all time favorite electric razor. Gives me a close shave with very little irritation. Have tried and owned many Braun and Norelco shavers as well but this on I always go back to.

My second Arc 5. Very good razor. Charge seems to be good for about 5 days. Only disappointment is that it doesn’t recharge in my old charger

Shaver Performs as Advertised. It provides a smooth comfortable shave.

This is a good buy but in some ways it felt like a downgrade from the previous Panasonic I had. It does provide a comfortable close shave though.
