After 20 years of using Norelco shavers. I decided to switch yo Panasonic and am so glad I did. This Shaver is absolutely amazing. I have the flexibility of using it wet or dry shave and I gives me the closest shave ever. I would definitely recommend this Shaver and will never go back.

Awesome shaver, had norelco in the past, but the Arc5 does fantastic job, gets close to the skin and very easy to use.

not holding charge too long . quality shaving good

I replaced my old ARC3 Panasonic shaver with this new Panasonic ARC5 shaver. The old one was 3 years old and the battery was weakening some (still OK) and the foil and blades needed replacing. The old Panasonic shaver was very good and this one is even better. The shave is a little better than the ARC3 and the battery life is excellent. I am totally satisfied with this ARC5 shaver.

Easier use than the old Arc5 and similar functions as the old one, not sure about the updates.

I am really enjoying my new razor. It is almost as close as the old straight razor and a lot safer. I am still learning all of the features but I am sold on this razor as my new go to for shaving.

I did not receive this through best buy as my package was lost in transit. However I purchased it from another retailer, and found this to be a good shaver. I graduated to this from the Philips Norelco rotary shave; and this needed a lot of "Getting used to". The booklet that comes with the shave says to try this for 2+ weeks before returning, so I did so. The 2 weeks were honestly stressful - I had lots of cuts and burns. But now that my skin is used to it, the shave works really well as both wet and dry shave. The included charger is convenient, but like most other wet/dry shavers, you cannot shave while the thing is charging. Fortunately, the shave can charge within 5 minutes to let you complete one shave cycle, so that was very nice and useful feature. The 4-star rating is because of two cons: (1) It takes 2 painful weeks to get used to this and (2) the cost of replacement blades are much higher than competitive brands.

This is the best electric shaver for the price. I tried several shavers from different brands at this price point, and none of them stood up to this one.
