I haven't had a shave that close for years. I have always used a rotary shaver, but there is no comparison. Also very easy to clean. Add a little hand soap and run for a few seconds and rinse off anything on the blades. It also tells you when it needs to be cleaned or charged.

Got it for my future xmass gift. Great quality, smooth shave! Have yet to use it..

I have used previous Arc5 series for about 7 years. I bought this new series in mid November but I had to return the new Arc5 after 1 week of usage because it was very harsh on my skin. The foil is the same with the previous series so it cannot be the issue that caused the discomfort. To my opinion, the "sensing" feature of the new Arc5 is causing the skin irritation as it causes the machine to run at different speeds (you can hear the speed change as you use it). In the previous Arc5 you were able to turn the "sensing" option off. To make sure my problem is not about the foil, I returned my first one and then got another new one from the store. Unfortunately I had the same skin problems again. So I had to return the other one another week later. Since the foil is the same with the previous Arc5 series, I do not think my skin is not accustomed to the shaver, as I was using it before. I think Panasonic should bring the "sensor" off option (just like the previous series had) and this would solve the problems with this shaver. Unfortunately the foils do not last long, it says 24 months for replacement but I barely seen 3 months on one foil in the previous Arc5 machines so I think it would be similar for this one as well.

I needed a shaver that I can use during week and not worry about much, and this good piece ok f technology so far is great.

Best yet over previous models. Close shave and comfortable to use.

I got this as a replacement for the Norelco. The flip-up trimmer is excellent and I feel this provides a better shave.

Great product. My last one lasted 10 years and coulda lasted longer if i took care of it.

Used for a few weeks now shave just gets better. No downside at this point. Great shaver.

I believe that I was using the a model or two before this razor. It was a good ok shave. However, this model is simply fantastic. If I shave daily, I can spend 3 1/2 minutes and I am done. And the shave is very close. Almost as close as today’s non electric razors. I love it.

Owner this shaver for almost a year and a half. So far it’s been awesome. Nice clean shave and easy clean up. I have sensitive skin and this is the first electric shaver I’ve owned. Wish I would of invested in this one years ago. Highly recommend.

Store staff said to get one of two other brands but the review of this electric shaver were favorable so I decided to try it and I'm very pleased with the closeness of the shave with a very short time usually less than 3 min. I love that it's wet or dry which makes it really easy to clean.

Pansonic ARC series always come with long lasting blades and good performance, ARC 5 5 blades just simply works.

have used panasonic shavers for many years. i have been satisfied with the older shavers. this one has a HUGE head but still the same two blades beneath. i have a beard that i shave around and this is a bit awkward to use as compared to the older versions. still a good product but i wish the head was smaller.
