Very close shave. It charges fairly quick. Should of bought this sooner!

This product comes highly rated, and hy husbanc has used this line of shaver for over 10 years. The service at the store was outstanding. When it was found to be out of stock, it was shipped directly to my house, no charge, in 3 days!

I have used all brands of electric razors over the years. I keep going back to Panasonic which delivers a very good product. I am replacing a four year old ARC 3 razor which still works fine, but the battery is starting wear down.

Purchased this in August 2019 and was very satisfied. I had the Arc 4 and thought this was a nice upgrade. The shave was close and clean. I have a fast growing beard and easily have a 5 o clock shadow each day, so needless to say I shave daily. I also rinse the blades and screen after each use. Weekly I would perform a deeper clean with liquid soap as recommended. After about 2 months I noticed it was starting to miss some hairs on my neck and on the side of my face, which was not a huge deal. By November (about 3.5 months after purchase), I could not get a close shave at all. It was missing large spots no matter how many times I went over my face. I could not imagine that I would need a new screen and blades. I looked up the replacements and they were $55. I can't justify that cost every three months. I did try to contact Panasonic for assistance via e-mail twice, but they never responded. After doing some online research I did find that this is a common complaint with the ARC 5 and that Panasonic traditionally has poor customer service, so I guess that is why I never got a response. I picked up an ARC 4 at Best Buy during the Black Friday sales, that model has always performed very well for me so I went back to that model. Do some research before jumping on the ARC 5 to avoid disappointment.

Great shaver! Truly does get as close as a blade and is much more comfortable, fun to use, and easy on the face!

I used my older model to the ground and was beyond happy to buy a new one. Love it alot!!

Great value and I love the self-cleaning features.

I've tried Norelco, Panasonic, and Braun over the years. This is definitely the best. The Norelco didn't work for my face and hair. The old 2 blade Panasonic and Brauns were pretty much the same. This 5 blade design takes some getting used to due to it's size. It results in a fast shave since you don't have to go over the same area more than twice. Cleaning the shaver is so easy - soap and water versus the alcohol based cleaner required by Braun.

I’ve used Norelco/Phillips and Braun razors and have not been happy with product performance, I used a Norelco razor for years,but recently I went to replace the blades and got a set that was way more expensive and of poor quality.I tried Braun but wasn’t happy with the shave either. So I tried Panasonic and have been happy so far. Easy to clean especially compared to the Phillips.

Awesome close shave for an electric razor. Runs quietly too.

I've been using a combination of cheaper electric razors and traditional 5 blade razors with cream as the cheaper electric razors I've owned always left stray hair. Never wanted to spend the money on higher end razors, well I'm glad I did. This Arc 5 is great and I got it at a reduced price at my BestBuy. Extremely close shave, no pulled hairs, very comfortable to use, powerful motor and great carrying case. Not sure the experience can get any better but am now a believer!
