This is a great purchase! Works great wet or dry and the battery life is awesome (10 days or more) and charging time is very fast. Shave is comfortable and high quality. Prefer Panasonic to previous Braun models. Price point is excellent. Highly recommend.

I upgraded from the Panasonic ARC3 to the ARC5. The ARC3 was not bad but ARC5 undoubtedly provides the closest and most comforting shave of all electric razors I've ever used in my 70 yrs of existence :) .It feels great and well balanced in my hands and the charging /cleaning has this unique drying feature compared to my Phillips shaver. The Pop-out blade does a not too acceptable job in lining up my beard, but I've always used a disposable razor for clean look on my beard. The big personal positive is my no longer using a disposable blade for shaving my head and face , reducing the occasional cuts and abrasions . This is a great unit. I'm however giving this ACR5 a 4xstar rating for now and see what happens in future .

Pros - Excellent razor. Closest shave I have ever had. Fast and easy shave due to excellent blades. Cons - Requires a bit of maintenance. You need to run the “cleaning program” every day (personally I do it every other day). Some water and a cleaning solution shoots up into the case and cleans the razor once activated (1 pack of solution is provided for one month - available on Amazon sold as a pack for a reasonable price). This seemed like a bit of a pain at first, especially changing the solution every month, but the razor looks brand new and is working like it was just out of box many months later, so I think it’s worth it. Note - the first ten minutes of the cleaning process are VERY NOISY. The last 60 or so of the drying process aren’t too bad. Don’t expect to clean this razor before you head off to work if your partner is within 25 yards. It’s like waking up to someone vacuuming your pillow.

This is the best electric razor I have ever used. It cut’s close and is easy to clean. The razor works well with the contours of my face as well as under my chin and along my neck. Definitely a good investment.

Cuts well, i like the charge and clean station which Phillips doesn’t do anymore (they’re separate) only one button on the clean station and it’s weird it will literally clean forever unless you take it off not a huge deal. Also it has a dryer to dry it off after which also goes forever. I feel like the head flexes a little too much. I shave my head with it and a lot of the time I’ll hold it by the head instead of the handle as it just flexes too much.

I had the lv65 version but the trimmer broke, so I went for the slight upgrade with this lv67 version. It works just as well as the previous but I think I prefer this look over the silver 65. My post cuts feel smooth and of course easy to clean with some liquid soap and a rinse.

Very, very close shave. Pivoting head takes some getting used to as it has a lot of movement. Tried it both locked and unlocked. Unlocked is better as it makes a close shave easier and faster, just need to practice with it. Charging is quick and the battery lasts quite a number of shaves. I would recommend this over current Braun models of comparable price.

I've owned 2 Arc4 Panasonic shavers, and still use them both. I decided to purchase this Arc5 because it was finally within my price range. $100 off, are you kidding me!? Thanks Best Buy! But besides price, this shaver is a great value! Wet/Dry, quick charging, and long battery life. The shave experience is even better, and takes half the time of my Arc4's. Cuts through thick hair like a hot knife through butter.

I have been looking for an electric razor for my husband that gives a close shave. It seems they all leave stubble and still looks like you have not shaved. This razor is the BEST it leaves your face nice and smooth and is quick and easy to use.

Decided to try this after using the braun for many years. I can't believe it took me this long! What a difference. Shave is much closer than my old braun. Battery life is good. Never going back to braun given how happy I am with this Panasonic.

This razor blew me away! After years of using the Braun Series 9, I was in need of new blades, but had grown tired of the poor trimmer function and the slow response of that razor. I read a ton of reviews of different kinds and went with this one. To my surprise it's made in JAPAN! A show of true high quality. I couldn't believe how luxurious it feels in the hand. a nice high end feeling. Love the travel mode so it doesn't turn on in a bag, and love how smooth and fast it is!!! The trimmer function is to DIE FOR. A lot of times I will trim up the edges of my beard with the slide out trimmer function and then use the foil to shave that closer. but wow the trimmer is SO PRECISE and fast and it NEVER pulls my hair. I have a cheaper 40 dollar panasonic beard trimmer that sometimes pulls my hair so i was worried, but this trimmer is so fast and sharp it just slices right through and makes very clean close lines. I love it so much I can't stress enough what an upgrade it has been over my series 9!

What to say about this shaver. It's quieter than the Arc3 it replaced. It cuts closer and leaves my skin smoother as well. The head is a bit larger and that's about my only gripe with it.

I have used Braun razors for more than 20 years and have had 3 different models during that time. I have been happy with them overall. My Series 5 died last week and I was about to get another one. This Panasonic went on sale for $120 so I decided to give it a try and return it if I didn't like it. WOW. What a night and day difference. The Braun isn't even in the same league. Very close and smooth shave. It took far less time because you have to make less passes than with the Braun. It got my difficult neck area closer and smoother than anything in the past. I have always shaved my head with a blade because the Braun's never got near close enough. I tried the Panasonic and it got AS CLOSE as a blade, quickly and with great comfort. I was amazed. Cleaning is a snap and took about 30 seconds. The razor is very quite and fits my hand perfectly. It glides over my face and head with no effort. I can't say enough good things about this razor, and it is a tremendous value at $120.

I am 74 years I old and yse my Panasonic Arc 5 Shaver every morning when I shower. I gad previously used the Arc 3; the improvement is marked! I have found that by lathering with Cremo Shave Cream and shaving in the shower, gives me a great, comfortable smooth shave! Great Shaver @ a great price! I highly recommend the Arc 5

The best I have used for thick facial hair. Extremely close and effortless shave. My sensitive Skin feels great after. I tried others. This so far best for me

After reading other reviews I purchased last years model which has better graphic LED indicators on the handle. This saved me $30 for basically the same "mechanical" shaver. And unlike some of the negative review on noise level... This ES-LV65 Arc5 is extremely Quiet compared to my older Panasonic ES-LT41 this is replacing. I can confirm the positive reviews of a quick clean smooth shave in under 2 minutes and love the 5 shaving foils that tackle any type of scruff. I opted to not get the charging base kit that added 50% to the cost because this shaver will last 3-4 weeks on a single charge. I did allot of research before buying this and hope my review will help you with yours.

This is the best shaver I have ever used. Prior to this I used a rotary razor, and it worked fine, but this has it beat in terms of quality, speed, and ease of use. I read a lot of reviews before buying this, and they were right. A big plus was that it's made in Japan.

I have only used this for a week, but it is the quickest and most comfortable shave that I have ever experienced. I actually look forward to shaving and using this device. I owned mostly mid-priced Norelco rotary in the past, and a couple low end Brauns. The rotary razors were ok, but took a long time. They were very durable and lasted a while. The Braun did a good job as well, and I was close to buying a more expensive model. I just never owned a Panasonic before, and the stellar reviews made me want to try it out. I am so happy with this purchase. Some people claim that it does not cut longer hairs as well as daily maintenance. I find that all razors can struggle with them which is why I have always gone different directions and try to stretch my skin over shaving areas to help it shave. It maybe took an extra pass to get everything in a different direction, but it does work just like every other razor. The huge benefit is the incredible comfort from daily maintenance shaving. Extremely close and quick. I will be ecstatic if this razor lasts a while.
