close shave, easy charging. simple cleaning, shaves wet

I decided to look for a new razor since the replacement cutters and foil for my 15 year old Panasonic were nearly as much as a new razor and am glad I did. Having the trimmer attachments made it possible for me to retire my 15 year old trimmer as well. It doesn't hurt that this razor gives a very close comfortable shave. The only thing I miss is not having the display showing the percentage of charge left on the batteries

I used a different brand before and was afraid to change. But then I decided to try this company, and I was not disappointed. Shaves very well. The charge lasts for a long time. In a word, I am very pleased with the purchase.

Nice premium close shaver for my son's first shaver and a lot less expensive than the alternative for a similar shaver like my Braun. This should last him until he's out of the house.;)

69 years old been shaving with manual razor all my life. guess skin changed was causing irritation.hesitent to switch, did research and purchased this panasonic. took a couple weeks for skin to adapt and now i am happy with the results, much easier no rash

Close shave with very little irritation. Quiet operation and charge lasts over a week of use.

For an electric it is very close. Battery lasts a long time. I have tried shaving my head with this. It is more time intensive to get an almost close as blade shave. Some irritation, but I was shaving dry. Wet did not seem to cut it, litterally. Lighter than I expected, hope it lasts. The price is great for how well it shaves.

This provides a very close shave. I follow the directions daily by washing the razor with soap, rinse, air dry and then add panasonic mineral oil. So far the ability to maintain a close shave has been maintained. The razor's rechargeable battery lasts about 2 weeks as advertised.

I used an electric decades ago briefly but wasn't satisfied with it never gave them a second thought until recently, This Panasonic is great. It's very convenient and shaves plenty close enough for me. Recharges very quickly. Cleans up easily.

The ARC5 has been a game-changer for me. As someone who has always used Gillette products, I found them adequate but not entirely satisfying—they merely got the job done. However, with increasing work appearances at trade shows, I noticed the need for a closer shave, which my old razor couldn't provide. This need for improvement led me to discover the ARC5. Initially, I was hesitant about the ARC5, mainly due to its cost, assuming it was just an expensive, automated version of what I already had. But I was completely mistaken. The ARC5 is incredibly user-friendly, delivers an exceptionally close shave, and leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth. It's been such a transformative experience that there's no going back for me—I'm absolutely smitten with this device.

I feel an elevated sense of confidence after I use this excellent shaver! I can stride with purpose knowing my face is as smooth as can be! I think it might help improve my looks too! Perhaps that is a stretch but if it works for me it might work for you!

I do not have a lot to compare this shaver to, as the last electric shaver I had was 10+ yrs ago and it was awful and expensive(braun). I was skeptical of this shaver, but it has impressed me. My neck area is super sensitive and I have tried all the shave club razors, store bought all the same. They give me ingrown hairs in the neck region as they pull the hair, cut it, then it goes under the skin and breaks you out. It makes for a great smooth feel the day of, but the days after suck. This panasonic leaves my skin just as smooth and standard 4-5 blade types and no breaking out the following days. Only complaint and reason for 4 instead of 5 star is the shaver always misses 5-10 hairs, not sure if my beard grows weird, but I always have a few stragglers that have to be hit with the trimmer part and then shave then. If it wasn't for that, I'd be on the mountain tops praising this shaver lol. I did but the extended warranty not knowing how well this will do over time.

Good battery life and water resistant, comes with a sufficient amount of adjustability for good options on trimming. Charges from empty to full very quickly! Priced a little high though, I'd only recommend picking up on a sale. Will have to see how it lasts over time through ownership.

Its been a few, ok many, years since I used a razor and I only had bad memories so when it came time to get one, I wanted to make sure I found a good one. This is it. Its comfortable in my hand, it glides across my skin and scalp and leaves behind a smooth surface with no burns. It's very easy to clean, a charge lasts a week - your mileage may vary - and overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have long used an electric razor and found most brands disappointing. Several years ago I started using Panasonic and found them to be superior in every respect. Until recently I was using an Arc4 and was mostly satisfied. Had heard and read good things about Arc5 so when Best Buy had a one day sale for 50% off I took the plunge and I am so glad I did. I have to tell you that I shave my entire head so that presents many issues that the vast majority of electric razors simply can't handle. Even my Arc4 had some problem areas that it struggled with but no problem for the Arc5. The razor is comfortable and gives an amazingly close shave across my head and face. The Arc5 does a far better job in 3-4 minutes than the Arc4 did in 5-6. I also appreciate the lock function on the switch so it can't be accidentally turned on while traveling. The only downside (and it is a minor issue) is that it is harder to clean after each shave with the brush as the internal blades are closer together. This is simply a phenomenal electric razor for anyone but a godsend for anyone who shaves their head.

I had been using the Braun Series 9 until it broke so picked up the Panasonic Arc5 shaver as a replacement. I am glad I did. It definitely out performs the Braun and is lighter and gets all my neck beard more easily than the Braun ever did. Got the model with the self cleaner and very pleased with it as it drys the shaver after cleaning so you don't have that wet residue the first you shave afterward.

I have been using the Panasonic Arc 3 for several years with overall good results. I wanted a higher end model, so I choose the Arc 5 Wet/Dry model with the cleaning, drying and charging unit. Setup was a snap. This shaver has four cutting heads instead of just two. I had not shaved since I ordered this unit, and the first shave was just fantastic! My face was as soon as a baby's behind. I highly recommend this shaver. If you are looking for a new electric razor, I guarantee you will be pleased!
