Does the job and gives you one of the closest shaves an electric razer is capable of. Its comfortable easy to use and very easy to clean I would recommend this.

I've had this for almost a year, and I like it. I decided to buy the one without the integrated cleaning base to save a couple bucks. Honestly, cleaning it after shaving takes about 15 seconds, so I'm kind of glad I didn't spend the extra money on the cleaning base. I was previously using a regular Gillette razor with shaving cream, and decided to give an electric one a try. It's convenient being able to wake up and just shave my face without getting it wet. No, it does not get as close as the Gillette. But it's good enough for me.

What can I say? It works. Wet or dry. It’s easy to clean too. The battery lasts pretty long. No issues here. Saves time as I can shave while doing something else.

Easy to use and high quality made. Switched from rotary to this and first couple days was a bit tough but later found it's charm. Highly recommend for rotary friends.

This is by far the best electric shaver I've ever owned. It shaves very close and clean and is super comfortable and quite. I used to own a Panasonic shaver but after several years of daily use, it was time for an upgrade. I read great things about the Braun series 7 and when it went on sale, I decided to give it a try. The Braun with its new improvements never gave me as close of a shave as the older Panasonic model. After several months of use, I finally had enough and opted to spend the extra money to buy the new Panasonic Arc5. Best decision ever! I spend less time shaving now but still get a cleaner and closer shave than I've ever been able to with any other shavers. Will never go back to any other brands other than Panasonic!

Purchased it today and so impressed that I had to write a review. This thing is by far the best shaver I have owned. I have always been a rotary owner and am coming from the Norelco 9000 prestige. The arc give a closer and more comfortable shave. Yes, the neck is tricky but it always is no matter what you use. With the arc just pass over those tough swirls on your neck a couple of time and you’re good. I have a very coarse beard and I am 100% happy with the results.

Best electric razor I've ever owned, hands down, not even close to other electric razors I've owned. I have a tough thick beard and it takes it down to smooth quickly and razor close/smooth. It's amazing how comfortable the shave is. No pulling, burn, discomfort during or after shave. Only used the razor dry. Yes, a few hairs on my face remain I have to work a bit on if I have many days of growth but I've had the same issue on every electric razor I've owned, no big deal, just run the razor over my face on several different angles to get those.

Solid electric shaver that cut smooth and close in wet and dry (particularly in wet mode). Easy to clean and maintain on daily basis.

I had a Panasonic that I bought almost 20 years ago and the battery finally stopped holding a full shave's worth of power. I had such a good experience with it that I wanted to stick with the same brand. This newer model works great. The blade housing is plastic instead of metal that my old version had, but this is not a deal breaker for me. I was worried that the head would be too large and bulky but it was fine and now I actually prefer the size. I have thick whiskers and the shaver cuts close and smooth. The typical problem areas require many passes, but so did a manual blade. If I wait a couple of days between shaves, the shaver cuts even closer, and it doesn't pull and yank he whiskers (except for once). The motor is strong and doesn't bog down when hitting the thick growth. The charge lasts for a week but you can't run the shaver with the plug (they say it is for safety since it is also made for wet use). The wet shave works great too. I've been using this for several months and suggest allowing at least one month (like the instructions recommend) for your face to adjust to this shaver before forming an opinion. However, my whiskers adjusted quickly, within a few shaves since I was already using an electric shaver previously. This shaver has only nicked me once during wet shave and it was probably from pushing too hard. The nick was not bad at all; I didn't even feel it.

Purchased this item for my husband as a Christmas present. He absolutely loves it!!! He said it works great, loves the trimmer and the wet dry feature.

The five heads shave closer and faster than any other shaver I have ever had. Very comfortable. Long lasting battery on a 1 hour charge. Highly recommended!

The difference between this and the cheaper electric shavers I used is night and day. This one effortless mows all the hair off my face, the battery holds a charge for several uses, and it even has a cleaning mode, just put some liquid soap over the head and turn on cleaning mode. Easy to use and maintain, the display even says when it's due for a cleaning. Definitely worth the extra cost.

I did find some growing pains coming from a rotary-style Philips Norelco, but after getting through a few nicks, this shaver is handily the best I ever had. The Arc5 has saved a significant amount of time and shaves much closer than the Norelco ever did, and many other third-party reviewers find the Arc5 among the best shavers on the market.

Brilliant. Panasonic shavers are the best. The battery lasts for 6-8 shaves. The foil and blade cutters are the best for close shaves.

Gives a nice, close shave that doesn’t irritate the skin afterwards and is easy to clean afterwards
