Posted .Dear customer, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your bad experience with our unit. If the reception breaks in and out or experiencing humming noise on the background while using your cordless phone, it might be caused by a transmission or electric interference, noise can also come from the phone lines, it would be best to locate the source of the interference. We recommend you to check with the provider and to try to relocate or plug the Panasonic phone to a different area where there is less interference. If you are subscribing to DSL/ADSL service, it is recommended to use a DSL filter. Most DSL/ADSL service providers would have the filters available for their subscribers, you may also check out your local electronic stores for availability. For further information you can check our FaQ website or you can reach out to us via Live Chat on the Panasonic Website, Contact Us option, Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm EST.

Good, but speaker is disappointing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good product, but speaker disappointed me when compared to my older Panasonic phones. People receiving my calls have complained that it's hard to hear me when I'm using speaker. Placing the phone on a stack of paper seems to help a bit. I've found it very easy to setup and use.

Panasonic brought me back, 2 years w/ current set.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My set has 3 cordless handsets along with chargers plus the base set with cord in the home office. Phone worked right out of the box, headsets took about 16-18 hours to charge. It works perfect for me, 3 chargers are placed in prominent, yet inconspicous areas. The handsets are not always left on chargers to preserve rechargeable batteries. Take note, remove them when fully charged, sometimes a completely dead battery can take half a day or more to fully recharge. Headsets have worked up to 3+ hours talk time, 2-3 days standby. I deplete the battery and always have another set within reach. Cell phone connection works well, that's able to sit in a spot with an optimal signal then connect to home phone system. My property is just shy of an acre and the cordless signal starts to break up around the perimeter. I can ride the mower and accept calls. Phone is easy to set up, read the instructions, know your menu functions and familiarize yourself with buttons, such as "select" and "back" while in the various menus. The buttons are starting to show some wear on certain handsets, oh well. It does have some "tinny" sounds during calls, that could be external wiring and interference from it. A separate, regular corded handset in the house has similar issues at times. I won't knock the phone for clicks and hollow sounds when it could be the line, a phone tap. Sometimes connections are not always perfect on every single phone, landline or wireless, you live with it. This Panasonic phone has served it's purpose and outlasted my AT&T model. It came with an offer from the phone company. Previous Panasonic experience brought me back. Around twenty years ago I paid about $30 for a single, Panasonic cordless headset without caller ID. That phone lasted at least 8 years with two battery replacements. I could walk and talk nearly a block on that model. Eventually the battery was not available anymore. Unfortunately the phone had to be recycled. This particular model is aging and I hope the replacement Panasonic makes in the future is the same quality. Cordless handsets are light and I've dropped a few on wood, tile or concrete, they are all still working. A suggestion would be to offer a model with buttons on the corded handset piece instead of on the base. Save the footprint. Integrate the answering machine functions into the base menu screen. Just my two cents, otherwise you can't go wrong with this one.

Do NOT buy this.Get The AT&T CL84207 instead!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a piece of junk.I've had other panasonic cordless phones that were great back in the 90's,but, today's phones fail by comparison. It is very hard to set up. volume is too low, there is no volume control.the speakerphone is junk, very tinny sounding, sounds like people are talking through tin cans with a string. also thin sounding at the other end unless you get right on top of it and yell or talk very loud, but, then it still sounds tinny. I sent this back to Walmart and I bought the AT&T CL84207 from Best Buy,it has smart call blocker that makes the caller record their name and press the pound key before the phone will ring. The Panasonic doesn't have that feature, the phone rings and you have to answer it then press the call block button. The AT&T CL84207 is so much easier to use and set up than the Panasonic.Don't waste your money on this phone, you'l be sorry you did.

They fibbed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the call blocking feature. Only problem is that the manual states 250 numbers can be stored. I got to 50 and it now says " call block memory FULL" Major bummer with the amount of robo calls being received these days.

Horrible sound!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have little choice but to return this unit. I was looking for a desktop phone/answering machine to replace our old one that died. This was one of the only choices on the shelf at the local Best Buy. The answering machine portion worked fine at answering the phone and taking messages, but not for making or receiving calls. The sound was so distorted with the speakerphone, corded receiver, and remote handsets that I asked some callers to call back on my cell phone so I could understand them. I called my sister today and she asked if something was wrong with my phone because the sound quality was bad. That was the last straw. I have had it for a week or two hoping it would be okay but it's silly to ask people to call back on my cell phone, especially those that I don't want to have that number. Now I have to search for a different brand. Ugh.

Cordless phones don't work out of line of sight
