So its my fault for not fully questioning the features on this unit before buying. Works great as a dvd/blu ray player. Works great as a Netflix/Amazon/YouTube video player. Has an add on app that plays a fireplace - cool. But it doesn't have Hulu. No way to add it. I watch a lot of hulu. so I have had to figure out other ways to do so.

This new Panasonic unit is not cheap, but the best never is. It's fast, plays the 4K content beautifully and has great apps. A bonus for me is a USB port that allows me to plug in my USB drive and show my 4K photos better than ever.

Very easy set of great quality. Cons having to build my 4K library movies.

It plays wonderfully and doesn't skip or not play. Sharp 4k TVs don't play 4k even when the movies are 4K. So don't sell them till they upgrade them and truly play 4k.

Stunning images, but difficult to configure sound output. Some older DVDs could only be heard through the left tower. Newer 4Ks were fine. Probably a setting I missed. Too much trouble for the price. Returned it.

I purchased this player to replace my Samsung 4K player but it had some major issues. Spoke with Panasonic support and they indirectly admitted that it had some compatibility problems with Denon receivers. I tried bypassing my receiver and going directly to my top of the line Samsung 4k tv but the picture quality was still very poor when watching a 4k DVD. Also worked with Geek Squad and Denon support. All fingers pointed to the Panasonic player. As soon as I put my Samsung player back into the system all the problems went away. Perhaps I just got a bad one but for $650. I expected more. Must say, the audio was excellent.

Very high quality UHD Blu-Ray player. This player up-scales HD very good. Extensive menu options and works flawlessly. Highly recommended!

Fabulous DVD player. Seems impossible but it improves the image on my Sony 75" 4K ...love it and the Sony ,,,well worth the money

If your looking for a high end uhd player this is the best one available now. Has a great backlit remote and is well built.

I've spent more than 25 years in consumer electronics marketing. I have sold audio and video products, owned three 4k TVs and unfortunately, in the case of the Samsung K8500, have already owned two 4k blu ray players. I've been studying the UB 900 for a year. It's been in Europe for that long. Reviews have been the highest I've read for virtually any consumer electronics product; 10 out of 10 and 5 out of 5. The UB 900 is first and, most importantly, the only currently available 4k player compatible with any make of 4k TV. The Samsung k8500 as admitted by Samsung Technical Service, a member of Best Buys Geek Squad and two Magnolia store employees and myself ,is not. The K8500 will modify your TVs picture settings so many can't be used. Now back to the UB 900. It uses the VP9 up scaling system; by far the most advanced up scaling system to date. It's 4k picture is far superior to any 4k blu-ray player I have seen. It contains virtually every sound option available.You can modify your picture and sound via the player on any medium played through the UB900 i.e disks, Netflix, YouTube etc. The K8500 let's you modify the picture ,not sound, only on a disk. The UB 900 is well built and throughly tested for more than a year before being introduced to the US market. The UB 900 at its current $699.99 price is expensive but compared to other current and already reviewed upcoming models, it is far superior and well worth the price. And, if you want to be able to adjust a non Samsung TVs picture settings, all of them, the UB 900 is your only choice. Don't make the mistake that I did and buy the Samsung K8500. If you do, as I did, and then are exposed to Panasonic's UB 900, you'll wish you had waited.

Superb player. Best Bluray player I ever had. I highly recommend it.

I'm not overly impressed by this Oppo product. The audio portion is excellent. The video is average.

Good 3D blu ray player. I didn't think much of it, until I Purchased my first new 3D Movie.

This is a high quality piece of equipment from the 4K streaming apps to the disc player itself

the 4k player definitely was not worth the money. I read how the upscaler on this machine is so tremendous. Ive got about as good a tv as you can get, and I didn't notice any upscaling
