Q: Does this player come with its own HDMI cable? If not, which cable would you recommend?
A: The player does not come with a HDMI cable. I used a HDMI cable that came with my cable box, Works fine.
Q: Does it support Dolby Vision?
A: I see nothing in the manual stating that it does. According to an article on techradar.com from November 6 of this year, "The only 4K Blu-ray players currently supporting Dolby Vision are the Oppo UDP-203, Oppo 205, and LG’s UP970."
A: My understanding is “yes”. Goggle - does Panasonic Blu Ray support Dolby vision- and you can find more info online . Good luck/enjoy hope this helps. Picture and audio on my DMP-UB 900 is stunning
Q: Does this play true 4k movies and upscale blue ray?
A: Yes with beautiful image quality. Adjust the sharpness controls for the best image since the standard image looked a bit soft but after adjusting the image was pristine.
