This is my second electric razor the first being a norelco and I am happy with this razor. I have sensitive skin and am unable to use a regular disposable razor so picked this up on sale and am happy with it. Cuts close but not too close so doesn't irritate my skin. Happy with my purchase.

Honestly is a perfect shaver for the money and all I need for 3 or 4 shaves a week. It works better than Phillips shavers also. It does take twice as long as using traditional razor blades but the blades last for ever.

This is my first electric shaver. And I have to agree with the other reviews. It works very well! Saves me a lot of time over razors. I'm very satisfied with this purchase!

I've been a long time Braun customer, my last Braun shaver (Braun Contour 5790) has lasted for approximately 11 years. I was very hesitant on changing to a different brand or shaver type, but I researched for a while on the current rotory & foil shavers and have settled on the Panasonic ES-LT41-K. I was very close to pulling the trigger on another Braun in the same price range (Series 3-530cc), but many of the reviews claim that the Braun shavers have been inconsistent with shaving "closeness/smoothness". Also, per reviews the Braun build quality and included accessories seems to be dropping as of late. I simply cannot justify spending more money just to have the accessories included or to improve the actual shaving quality when other brands can provide these improvements and accessories for a lower price. After using the Panasonic ES-LT41-K, I immediately noticed a few key differences, it has a slightly louder & higher pitched sound than the Braun shavers. It's lighter in weight, and more comfortable to hold. The shaver-head lock, power-button lock, and LCD display features are nice upgrades that you typically pay more for with Braun shavers and it includes a protective plastic foil-cover and a storage bag for travel. The cleaning method is a little more echonomical, since you can use either water or water and liquid/gel anti-bacterial soap vs buying a cleaning cartridge for the Braun cleaning system. Panasonic does sell foil shavers with an included cleaning system, but why go out of your way to buy it and then have to pay for the cleaning supplies when you can go without. The only drawbacks that I've noticed with the Panasonic ES-LT41-K is that the foil/blade replacement parts are more expensive than Brauns, and you cannot use the shaver while it's charging (for water/electrical safety reasons, being that this is a wet/dry shaver). My Braun contour 5790 was a wet/dry shaver (although I never used it in the shower), and it could be used while it was charging. I'm not sure if Braun sells any newer models that offer this feature (it has proven useful many times in the past, when the battery was dead/low), but nowadays it seems that most wet/dry shavers, including the Braun shavers, have disabled the "use while charging" feature. My first shave with the Panasonic ES-LT41-K was on 3-day old facial hair. I wanted to try it on a worst case senario, any thing longer than this should be trimmed first with a beard trimmer to prevent most shaving issues with any electric shaver. Most electric shavers are not designed to handle beard growth more than 3-4 days. I noticed that with a 3-day old beard the shaver worked best with a light touch to simply trim the beard down to a more manageable length, then go over the entire area once more with a slight pressure to get the closest shave. Prior to this final pass, I also used Williams Lectric Shave. The shave was overall quicker, slightly less irritating (with 3-day old beard), and had fewer missed hairs than the older Braun shaver. I will admit that the blades/foil on the Braun were past their prime, and this can contribute to a loss of performance. As for the trimmer attachement, Both the Panasonic and Braun trimmer attachments could have been made better and performed about the same. My Braun trimmer attachment fell apart after about 3 years. I no longer rely on the integrated trimmers and have a separate beard trimmer to handle the trimming job properly. The Braun and the Panasonic were in my opinion equal at giving a close/smooth shave when the foil/blades are new. Overall, I am very satisfied with the performance of both shavers, with the Panasonic slightly out edging the Braun because of less irritation with longer facial hair. The cleaning process for the Panasonic ES-LT41-K was very simple and took very little time. Remove the foil then press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to activate the cleaning mode (higher frequency). Then pass the blade portion of the shaver under cool tap water until the shavings are rinsed off. Rinse the foil separately under cool water, shake to remove most of the moisture and then air dry before reinstalling onto the shaver. To help dry the shaver, re-activate the cleaning mode to shake off most of the moisture. Wipe away the residual moisture from the shaver housing (not really necessary), and then air dry separately from the foil. Reinstall the foil when everything is dry prior to your next shave. Once per week or per recharge, add liquid/gel anti-bacterial soap to the foil while it is installed over the blades and turn on the shaver to help lather up the soap and clean the metal surfaces. Remove the foil and rinse the foil and blades separately under cool tap water. Only activate the cleaning mode while rinsing or drying the blades with the foil removed from the shaver.

This razor is an excellent alue for the price. I got it on a deal of the day and I am very pleased with it. It does in my opinion work better in the wet mode.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my son. He uses it both wet/dry and loves it. Battery lasts and gives a great shave.

I like it, but after one day use I refund it because it's not easy travel with it and the price is too high. Hope they can make a smaller and cheaper one !

I bought a cheaper shaver and returned it after a few days. I decided to spend a little more and it was worth it.

Bought the shaver on sale, other wise it would have been too expensive. So far everything is working great.

On line researched before buying. Pricey but had best features and recommendations. Hoping it holds it's "edge". And free shipping.

To get a good electric shaver I thought I was going to have to spend more money, but then I found this model, good bang for the buck.

Works well however doesn't seem to catch the hairs well on the neck, but then I've never had a shaver work well on my neck.
