Not Supportive of Panasonic Brand Name
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an old shaver that just wasn't doing as good as it should so I ordered this Panasonic thinking by brand name alone it would be a great product......wrong! I ended up using the old shaver...even though it wasn't at peak performance any more, it was still better than this shaver.

Decent but not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Panasonic shaver cuts nicely but noise increased after a few weeks of usage. Also the display faded out and could not read battery life.

Quality and Great Value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had grown up on Norelco rotaries but finally got tired of them because they didn't cut very close, even with replacement of heads and blades. I changed to a Gilette (too noisy) and then to a Shick Power Quatro. It was great but I finally wanted the closeness of a blade wihout all the mess, cleanup, time, etc. I researched a lot on line and in the major consumer magazine, and considered Panasonic, Braun, and Norelco. Based on online reviews, I eliminated Norelco because they didn't cut very close (also my own experience) and Braun because of poor quality and being overpriced. I was going to get a Panasonic 4-blade with their cleaning system, but so many reviewers complained about the size of the 4-blade head and the cost and hassle of the cleaning system, that I decided on their ES-LT41 which got excellent reviews on several sites. I also liked that it was on sale at Best Buy for $69.99 (30% off). I'm very pleased with it, and I can confirm that the shaver is easy to maneuver on all parts of face and neck, has good balance and feel, shaves as close as a blade, takes far less time than Norelco or my Shick, does a full recharge in less than 1 hour, replacement foil and blades are half the cost of the high-end models, and cleaning is as easy as removing the head and blowing the hair off with your breath--15 seconds and you're done. You absolutely DON'T need the expensive cleaning system of the high-end models. This is a great shaver!

Doesn't do the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After several unsuccessful attempts to use the unit, I decided to return it. It just doesn't fully shave no matter how many times I tried.

I'm in SHOCK...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using electric razors for years. Started with Norelco, and the skin irritation got too bad. Switched to Braun about 12 years ago, and was very happy. A few years ago, I purchased a Braun 7 Series razor. It was great, but did not hold up nearly as well as the first Braun that I had. Shaving quality and battery life diminished quickly. Not to mention the expense of the cleaning solution. I'm still not sure why you need to clean it every day....I think it's just a gimmick to sell you more stuff. Anyways, the 7 series finally gave up the ghost last week. I thought about another Braun, but a new 7 series is at least $200...and it looks EXACTLY like the one that just died. Sorry, but there should be some improvements in 5 years, IMO. I had read good things about Panasonic razors in review/consumer magazines and websites. The reviews on the Arc3 were stellar, and for the price (which I got price-matched to Amazon# of less than $80, I figured it was worth a shot. I am in shock at how well this razor works. It literally shaves as close as the Mach razor that I tried last year #a blade). Lightweight, comfortable to hold, and it shaves very quietly and quickly. Trimmer is easy to use, and it works great wet and dry. LOVE the fact that you can use it in the shower if you want to. Plus, ZERO skin irritation or marks. Also very easy to trim around my gotee with this razor. My only wish is that it came with some sort of stand. I'm so used to having something like that for my Braun, I miss it. That being the only missing thing...I'm sold on Panasonic. Try one, you will not regret it!

best shaver for $$$
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This shaver was excellent right out of the Box. It surprised me a little bit with how much louder it is than my previous circular blade shaver, but I quickly got used to it. The only other way I can get a shave this close is by using a new razor against the grain, which irritates my skin really bad. You don't have to make a lot of passes to get a close shave, so the time to shave is shorter than many other razors. It's really easy to clean, and the only time it irritated my skin was the first time I used it.

Great value shaver - gets the job done
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned and used Brauns for many years. I wouldn't say this is about being better or worse....I was just a little hesitant to change brand. As soon as I opened the box I was in love....an outstanding product for the price which I find fits in my hand really well and has cool little features like percentage of charge remaining. The fact that it can go in the shower is conveninent......but most important, I get a close shave...as good as my Braun and it cost a lot less.....I will buy another Panasonic shaver.

Converted from Braun??
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only used this shaver 4 times since I purchased it. So far, very nice. It charges very quickly. The shaver is very quiet and very light weight, compared to my old Braun 8955. I have had 4 various Braun razors over the years. I was told by some other people that the Panasonic has a much faster speed to it's blades. It may take a while to my face to get used to the Panasonic, but my first reaction was that it did not cut as well as my old Braun. I had to go over a few areas a few more times and press a bit harder. We'll see what happens after a month or so. I can alway pass the Panasonic onto my son and go back to Braun series 7 if I feel the need.

Close Shave and doesn't irritate
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using mine for two months now and won't ever go back to disposable razors and cartridges. I hate to shave but I also hate a scratchy mustache and beard. This thing is quick to use, just a few minutes and I'm done. I actually prefer using it dry in front of the mirror after showering. I like to see what I'm shaving, and in the shower I'm afraid I'm going to shave off my sideburns. Guess I could get one of those shower mirrors that are anti-fog. This shaver shaves as close as my old dual and triple blade razors. Years ago I tried an electric Norelco razor and it caused my skin to break out and itch. Not at all with this Panasonic model, even using it dry it doesn't irritate my skin. The user manual says your beard has a break-in period of 30 days to get used to the shaver. I would agree. Cleaning is easy, just run it under hot water with soap. A full charge last me about five days before recharging, not bad.

I Give it a Workout!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a pretty tough beard. I also shave my head smooth. For several years, I used an older model Panasonic wet/dry (I had 3 of them). As they begin to wear out, I decided to try the Panasonic Arc3. I must say I am impressed. It shaved my face with little effort. My head was as smooth as a baby's behind in just a few minutes. Normally, I will shave my head in the shower. This shaver works great with soap and water. I use it all different ways, and it has never disappointed me. Actually, I have 3 of them. Shaving my head takes a lot out it, but they held up good. I do have extra heads and blades which are about to be put into use. Hopefully when these units start failing, Panasonic will have something similar to replace them. Just one more thing..It will not make orange juice or open your garage door.
