I've been using electric shavers since I started shaving almost 20 years ago. I can't use a blade because I get ingrown hairs, and a rotary is almost as bad. The only thing I liked about rotaries is they rarely miss hairs but a foil shaver greatly reduces the ingrown hairs. I've used a Braun Series 3 for the last year and while it did the job, it missed a lot of hairs especially on my lower neck and below my ears. I've recently started shaving my head as well and my Braun was taking me 20-25 minutes to finish shaving so I finally decided to try a Panasonic (actually my best friend heard me talking about buying new blades and she surprised me with it!). I gave it a chance and all I can say is WOW! It gets the hairs my older shavers always missed and gives a closer, faster shave without irritation and the best part is it only takes me about 10 minutes for my face and head. The advertized 13,000 CPM isn't a gimmick. It works. This combined with the free floating head which can be locked if needed, the Li-ion battery, battery gauge, and wet/dry versatility make this shaver a great buy. The only con is the replacement foils and blades are a little more expensive than other companies, but they are worth the money! Panasonic has won me over and I'll never buy another brand!

I can't believe how close this shave is! I was skeptical when ready the reviews, but after buying the razor I have never had such a close shave. The razor is quiet, shaves close, easy to clean, has a lock (great when traveling), eveything about this razor is great!

Bought a Norelco 15 years ago and gave up on it because the quality of shave was poor.Bought a Norelco 5 years ago...same as above. Thought I would try a electric shaver ONE more time and bought this Panasonic from Best Buy and it is great,It shaves close and fast and the shaving wet feature is great.If you are going to buy a electric shaver do yourself a favor and buy this Panasonic ! I am so glad to have the days of cutting myself while shaving behind me !

After nearly 14 years of using my Braun 7 series, it finally died a horrible death. Over the years I have replaced the heads regularly, bought a new cleaning tower and it gave me the best shave ever. It started to spew out the cleaning fluid and the head popped off so off I went to Best Buy. I contemplated buying another Braun since I had nothing but great experiences with it but the $250 gave me pause. I don't like Norelco shavers because it seriously makes me break out so I looked at the Panasonic. At least if it doesn't work out, the price won't kill me and I'll give it to my son. The shaver does a very good job on my face and it is surprisingly quiet. My Braun was starting to sound like a buzz-saw and the head doesn't vibrate as much as the Braun so I was worried that it wouldn't shave very closely. To my pleasant surprise, it gave me a very close shave. However, the neck area is where we part company. The Braun never ever gave me a rash or irritation on my neck. I'm afraid that the Panasonic has given me irritation and I've been applying aloe all morning. I'm going to give it a few days and if my neck continues to get irritated I guess I'll swallow the cost to get my beloved Braun.

I'm just a bit disappointed with this shaver. It really doesn't shave closely, especially on the neck. This is the first non-rotary type of electric shaver I have had in decades. I have as yet to own an electric shaver that comes close to a razor and shaving cream. I do like the ability to use foam to shave with, although I don't do it much. I also like cleaning/rinsing the shaver under cold water. It's easy to clean. Although I would recommend it to a friend, I wouldn't be overly enthused about it. I would warn him it doesn't shave closely.

First I want to say that I own the norelco senso touch and the Braun 7 series and neither of these even come close to this Panasonic shaver! It has amazing power and I don't have to go over the same areas like with the others. It's super smooth on my skin and feels great in your hand. I have thick hairs and sensitive skin and this shaver cuts everything perfect without any irritation, the Braun and norelco models don't cut as close and both leave me with in grown hairs or razor burn. Don't waste money like I did go straight for this Panasonic shaver it's by far the better shaver.

Excellent shave, the high speed motor, makes a big difference. Easy to clean. I do not shave inthe shower, so can't give opinion on that.

My old electric shaver suddenly died so I had to find one quickly. I did research to find the best quality shaver for the lowest price with great reviews. After reading reviews on this Panasonic, I decided to try this one. I also needed a shaver that I could get that day or the next. I was happy that Best Buy had it in stock. I LOVE this shaver now. Although for the first few days, I was not sure if this razor was going to work well for me, especially the dry shave. So I started trying the wet shave and it was ok, but there were spots on my face and especially my neck that weren't well shaved. So, I did some more research on youtube and found some products (like shaving soap) and techniques (like shaving against the grain of my beard on my neck). I also had to press in a little harder than I did with my old razor. But once I did all of those things, this provides a very comfortable shave and a very close one. I'm sold! It does take me a lot longer to shave, but it is getting better. It has been worth the extra few minutes for me so that I don't have to use an uncomfortable blade and deal with the nicks etc. It is also super easy to clean.

When I first brought this item home and began to use it I was concerned. The razor requires additional pressure to the face to perform the shave. This is different than the 3-circular blade Norelco I have. This razor requires a little additional pressure, but gives a fantastic shave with no razor burn at all. I have sensitive skin, (hair bumps on the neck area) and this razor leaves none of that. Might be one of the better razors I have purchased in my lifetime. Battery life is comparatively short, but you will never be caught off guard as the digital display shows exactly where the battery life remains. Outside of that, there is also a 5 minute quick charge to get a shave in even if the battery is/was dead just prior. A little noisier than some razors, but wayyyy quieter than the cheapo Remington razor I bought just to cut in the sideburns for a straight edge. This razor does it all, so I have put away my two old razors and have it down to one very effective razor.

This shaver was purchased to replace the Panasonic ES8043 I used for about 7 years. It worked well until one of the two blade drives failed within the shaver head. I could not find the same shaver but found this unit instead. The digital percent power remaining is very useful since I shave both my face and head and need to manage the ability to complete both areas during the remaining charge. The Nanotech blades are providing a better shave faster than my previous Panasonic, so that's a plus. This ES-LT41 fits well ergonomically in my hand while shaving and is performing well. I am quite pleased with the product.

I had been using Norelco Rotary Razors for over 30 years and loved them, but about 12 months ago they started giving me razor burns on my throat every shave, even with new heads and blades. Decided to try a screen shaver. I saw the reviews for the Panasonic Arc3 Wet/Dry Pivoting-Head Shaver, it sounded too good to be true for the price. It is a great product, no more razor burn! Gives a great shave. I highly recommend it!

Great Razor love it works well easy to use and charge

I got this shaver as a gift, it is outstanding! It gives a better shave then shaving with a razor! I used to use a rotary razer, but it started really irritating my neck, this shaver doesn't irritate me at all, and it gives a REALLY close shave! I'm not very hairy, I can usually go a day between shaving, I highly recommend this shaver to anyone looking for a decent priced shaver! It feels like a quality product, it doesn't feel cheap & it works excellent! I'll be using this a long time! Very satisfied, you will be too! Thanks Panasonic!

Went through several razors that I returned before I bought this one. It Gives a great shave, is high quality, and you will not be disappointed! This is an "every-day" item and needs to be perfect. It is.

I really like this shaver. It gets really close on the 1st pass. Sleek small design and works in the shower too if you're in a hurry. The only down side is the battery life. Maybe 10 shaves at best before you have to plug it in and keep it plugged in if you travel without it because it loses battery life even when you don't use it.

was looking for an easy way to shave my head and avoid razors, takes some getting used too, but works super once you do it a couple of times, irritated my face though but that takes getting used too also and I use a razor there anyway

I purchased this shaver for use on my elderly dad. Originally I had purchased another brand from another store that went out after 6 months. This shaver makes a world of difference. It does not hurt him when I shave him. After two weeks of using the shaver, it gives him a good clean super close shave. (Instructions noted not to use any other shaving device.) My only regret is that I didn't buy one for my husband during the BB daily deals.

I have bought several electrical shavers but had to clean up with a razor. This shaver provides a smooth close shave for all types/lenghts of facial hair and a razor is not needed.

I purchased this shaver due to rotator cuff surgery on my primary shoulder. I have never had much luck with previous electric shavers. This product works well, does what it's supposed to do, very reasonably priced. I am quite pleased with the product.

Overall a good shaver. I was sick of spending so much money on shaver heads so I bought this guy. It takes a few weeks for the shaver heads to adjust with your facial hair but gets the job done. Expect to spend more time shaving than you would with a normal (non-electric) shaver, but it does save money due to the low cost.
