I purchased the model above this (633), but as a senior it was difficult to see at night because it was black. The keys on the 533 model has brighter light under the keys. I would have rated it a 5 if it had the sturdier construction of the 633. All in all, I am happy with this purchase.

I felt this was a competive price for Panasonic.

( V-Techs I owned in the past had been adequate for the price). Best Buy only stocks a V-Tech cordless phone system without an answering machine or you have to order online. To avoid waiting I upgraded to this more expensive Panasonic model knowing it is a good brand name to avoid waiting for the phone.

You can both join in on a conversation on separate phones. Our last phones would not do this. I love the speaker phone feature that works great while trying to talk to a company that states you are the 20th in the Queue. Great buy.

Latest Landline Phone

But the old woman who lives with us won't have a cell, so we still have this in three spots in our big house. The voice tries to tell you who is calling, but is mostly unintelligible. Is that the fault of the phone or the phone company?
