Good home phone with all the features you need
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This well-made & stylish cordless home phone has all the features you need: lighted dialing, easy call-blocking, speed dialing, lighted date & time & caller-id if you subscribe to it via your phone company, a phone listing for frequently called numbers, a speakerphone option, ringer shut-off options ( for any hours your might want to choose/ or not) , an erasable listing of calls received, and voice-message storage, retrieval & a counter (with a remote access option), etc. Unlike many older call blockers which still ring once, you can set it so annoying blocked numbers don't ring at all. If you don't need pricey frills like connections to cell phones or text messages, then this is an excellent choice at a good price with strong & clear reception and sound. The phone also has a convenient option that can speak the caller-Id name of the number that's calling you, in either English or Spanish, which can be turned off, and a wall-mounting option for the base unit if wanted. The unit has has 3 phones & 3 bases, with the main one plugged into your phone line and an electrical outlet, while with the other two you simply plug the base into any electric outlet in your home, and the phone sits in the base. Each of the 3 phones comes with 2 rechargeable AAA batteries, which last at least 6 years in my experience with older models, and which can be purchased in many stores, if need be eventually, as replacements. You can't use regular batteries. There is a notice in the instructions for pacemaker and hearing aid users to first consult with their manufacturers to check if their products are shielded from the phone's RF energy output (since it's cordless) in the 1.92-1.93 GHz range. Bottom line: You'll like this phone. It tales a bit of fiddling and instruction book reading if you want to set up all the various options to your exact liking --but the phone itself is ready to go right out of the box when you put in the supplied batteries and connect it. Just give all 3 phones a few hours to first charge up fully at outlets. You can of course only set up only one or two phones instead of using all three.

Great answering system that is easy to set up.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a replacement for an old set of phones that were dying. The only issue I have is the volume on the handsets could be louder. If you have hearing issues test this system out within the time to return to make sure it is loud enough for your needs. Other than that it is great, clear sound anywhere in the house, love the intercom feature and the call blocking (again with all the scams/robocalls could use a greater number of blocking number slots but they may never be enough unless the FCC and the carriers really start to stop these). The only other possible issue is the hand sets when placed in the 2 non base holders are easily knocked over, however, that is a design flaw that almost all of the systems have. The base phone is very secure. The other great feature is you can control the system with any of the hand sets, you do not need to do everything with the base, which is very convenient. Have had Panasonic phones before, they last a long time and take a lot of abuse so I expect the same performance from these. Best Buy was also great as they price matched this right at the register.

Solid. Good sound. Tech knowledge not needed.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got these for parents. They wanted good phones with no complications. They didn't want any of the cell phone connectivity or too many bells and whistles. They like the speaker phone speaker so that they don't have to hold the phone to the ear and they can both hear a call if in the same room. They like the intercom feature, but not that you have to get in the menu to use it- a single button would be easier. Answering machine is good- easy to use. Overall good quality. I helped them pick this because I favor Panasonic phones and this had the right features and color (white). BTW, good to have extra handsets for older people so they can get to a phone easily from different parts of the house, as well as intercom each other.

It has BLOCK option
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone was initially purchased to help with hearing assistance but the best option is call blocking! All those robo calls get 1 ring & then silence! I will admit the directions for set up were a bit like reading quantum physics & the set-up time for storing numbers & retrieving them is at a slower pace the auto dial is somewhat slower than most phones but all features I bought this for work better than hoped for & again the sound quality is super & I can't say enough for the BLOCK option - I would have paid extra for that & price was already 1/2 of most other similar phones!

Great Landline System
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered this Panasonic System because I wanted a "Call Block" button to obliterate our many junk calls. System has turned out to be better than anticipated! The main phone only needs a phone cord and the 2 extensions only need an electrical outlet--thus extensions can be used in any room of the house with no telephone wiring needed. The sound is very clear and crisp. Another surprise was the "talking caller id"; thus if I hear the spam caller announced, no need to rush to a phone. The answering machine works fine and the units are attractive. Would definitely purchase again.

Q: QuestionHow do I get the message "VOICEMAIL MSG VIA PHONE CO" off of the phone? It used to show the date and time but changed to this message. I do not have voicemail through my phone company. thank you
Asked by Ruth2020.
- A:Answer I have the same problem and just found the answer; it was from a "Panasonic Help" video on the internet. IT IS NOT A PHONE COMPANY PROBLEM! The fix: hold the # button until you hear a couple of beeps. Simple, but it works.

Q: QuestionI just ordered this white cordless phone system for my elderly mother. Just want to make sure it has the talking digits that I was told and announces who is calling. can she adjust volume so that OTHER people who are hard of hearing can hear her?
Asked by mycaptainocaptain.
- A:Answer Yes on both points. It will announce the name of the person calling as long as a name pops up and is available. And the volume is adjustable and can be set loud enough.

Q: QuestionWhat does the call block button do. Does this prevent you from getting all these bad calls.
Asked by blumie.
- A:Answer Yes. Once use push it and verify that you want the call blocked all you will hear in the future from that number is one ring and the message on the screen will tell you that it is from a blocked number.

Q: QuestionDo the individual phones have a light that blinks when you have a message? My old Panasonic does that.
Asked by Dan.
- A:Answer Yes it does. My old system didn't do that and it might be days before I noticed that I had a message -- not so anymore -- one of the things I loe about this system!
