Once again, I lost my latest set (Panasonic) to lightning last month, and but I had no hesitation in buying them again. (This time, I've made sure to run the phone line through a surge suppressor, since it's my phone line that takes the hits from lightning.) This set has a call block button on the phones, which I haven't used yet, but it seems like it will simplify things if I do. As just a regular phone user, I can't speak to all the technical aspects, but they're easy to use, and that's what I want.

This one announces the caller ID, Has big, easy to read numbers on the base and individual units, and the system is easy to setup and use.

I purchased these new Panasonic DECT 6.0 phones and it absolutely quite and clear! Super nice features make these a joy to use. If you on the fence don't hesitate and get these! A++

I like the call block feature that allows me to program numbers to block with a couple key presses.

The charge doesn't last as long as other household phones that I have owned. There is also a little static from time to time. It only holds 100 contacts, so I find that really limiting. The V-Tech system I had previously could download contacts from a cell phone; this one cannot do that. I am somewhat disappointed with this system, but I needed one in a hurry, and this one was available.

If you are experiencing static during calls, please press the Menu button, then press the # key. Following that, enter 122, make sure A is selected and press Save. Please note that the battery life and the usage time may be influenced by the type of batteries you are using. A higher amperage battery will offer a longer usage time as it will hold the charge longer. Please also make sure that the handsets are left of the charging cradles when not in use, to preserve the battery life. Hope this helps! - S
