One disappointment is that while it takes headphones (a headset) which most new phones don't, it doesn't work with the type of headphones that work with cell phones so this is kind of a useless feature (and the one that led us to buy this phone). It is ok.

The buttons are large and the tone is clear and the volume is certainly adequate (she is hard of hearing).
