This range may be influence by other electronics close the the base unit or thick walls, depending on the material. We would advise placing the base unit further away from other electronics to avoid interference that may affect the range. - S
Static is horrible

The new one is easy to set up and program. Unfortunately, the static is so horrible, it's very difficult to understand the person on the other end of the line. Best Buy won't take it back because I didn't try to return it within the first 2 weeks (we were out of town). I'm hoping Panasonic will let us exchange. It's a lot of money to have spent for a phone you can't use.

If you are hearing static on your phone, reception breaks in and out or experiencing humming noise on the background while using your cordless phone, it might be caused by a transmission or electric interference, noise can also come from the phone lines, it would be best to locate the source of the interference first and a simple method of determining this would be to verify if static is heard on your other set of phones aside from the Panasonic.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?

I put everyone in there: Painters, electricians, plumbers, friends, family etc. Really - 0nly 100 numbers. The speaker phone doesn't work as well as an older Panasonic that I have. Taking it back.

They are terrible, I had to take the batteries out of my old Panasonic rechargeable phones and put them in the new rechargeable Panasonic phones. When the batteries go lower which is too often a voice hollers out “the phone needs rechargeing “ over and over! The phones also hang up during conversations...so very annoying! I thought because I had my 1st set of Panasonic phones and they lasted so long it was a no brainer to purchase them again. I was so wrong.
