Not acceptable - missing key features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone system is lacking two basic features that are included in most Panasonic phone systems. (1) Speaker phone option and (2) Headphone jack. Do not buy this product unless you are certain that you will never need to use these features. Panasonic makes many other phone systems that do include these two features that any phone should have. Buy another system instead of this one. Buying this was also a lesson in smart shopping. Don't assume that any feature you are looking for is included if it is not explicitly described on the packaging.

I am totally disappointed in this Panasonic phone.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really thought I was getting a great phone and they are awful. They do not explain anything that can be understood. I don't like them at all and would like to be able to return them and get another product. It would be one that I am at least familiar with. We have been contemplating returning them to Best Buy and getting another phone system.

Awesome phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this phone. It was easy to sync my iPhone's contacts with it. It's easy to use. The talking caller ID is an awesome feature and so is the one touch caller ID block. It has many features that I love, especially the sync-to-mobile-phones feature (can sync to two mobile phones). You can decrease the volume if it rings too much in any room (especially with my mobile phone and texts). In addition, it notifies you when you receive a text message on your mobile phone! It's very easy to use and awesomeness abounds on the features!!! It's incredibly easy to use and the volume is sufficiently loud enough. Great product? Recommended!

Great buy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've got 70+ hearing, and this phone is even better than the Panasonic it replaced. Reviews I had read were "mixed" on hearing volume, so I'm pleased. I'll be interested to see if it will increase the volume of my cellphone if sent through this system. I haven't set that up yet. My old phone only had 2 handsets, so having 3 now is a nice bonus. Old phone had small keypad. These numbers are much larger, and the read-out is also larger. Both are nice improvements over the old phone. More complicated to set up than my last multi-handset phone, and I don't need all the features this one has, so I've been lazy about really using everything it has. Easy to save numbers though. Same as the old phone. I had a lot of numbers stored, so will take me a while to finish that. I have only 2 phone jacks in my home, so these multi-handset phones are terrific! With 3 handsets, it's like having another phone jack.

Many different ring tones, call blocking option, and much much more. The value is unbeatable and again it'seems a great buy!

Bluetooth Didn't Work/No Headset Jack
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had to return the Panasonic KX-TGL463S cordless phone. We liked the phone except, surprisingly, we were not able to make outgoing calls with either of our Plantronics Bluetooths. I have the Explorer 505 (Best Buy's version of the Explorer 500) and my husband has the top-of-the-line Voyager 5220 (Best Buy's version of the Voyager 5200). We were able to pair both Bluetooths and receive incoming calls, but were unsuccessful at making outgoing calls with both of them. Calling both Panasonic's and Plantronics' technical support didn't help either; we were told it was a compatibility issue. You would think the latest and greatest Bluetooth from Plantronics should work with the latest and greatest cordless phone from Panasonic, but not so. This would not have been a huge issue for me because I have used a corded headset for years with my previous Panasonic cordless phones and I was willing to do the same again. However, this model phone didn't have a jack to plug my headset into, hence, the reason we had to return it and exchange it for a similar model that has a jack, the KX-TG684SK. Other than that, we liked the phone. The Link2Cell feature works great and I do like being able to receive cell phone calls and get text alerts on my home phone. But, since I use a headset almost daily, I couldn't give this phone a 5-star rating.
