    Bluetooth Didn't Work/No Headset Jack

We had to return the Panasonic KX-TGL463S cordless phone. We liked the phone except, surprisingly, we were not able to make outgoing calls with either of our Plantronics Bluetooths. I have the Explorer 505 (Best Buy's version of the Explorer 500) and my husband has the top-of-the-line Voyager 5220 (Best Buy's version of the Voyager 5200). We were able to pair both Bluetooths and receive incoming calls, but were unsuccessful at making outgoing calls with both of them. Calling both Panasonic's and Plantronics' technical support didn't help either; we were told it was a compatibility issue. You would think the latest and greatest Bluetooth from Plantronics should work with the latest and greatest cordless phone from Panasonic, but not so. This would not have been a huge issue for me because I have used a corded headset for years with my previous Panasonic cordless phones and I was willing to do the same again. However, this model phone didn't have a jack to plug my headset into, hence, the reason we had to return it and exchange it for a similar model that has a jack, the KX-TG684SK. Other than that, we liked the phone. The Link2Cell feature works great and I do like being able to receive cell phone calls and get text alerts on my home phone. But, since I use a headset almost daily, I couldn't give this phone a 5-star rating.

    250 Blocks Are Great

My old LL phone was also a Panasonic but only blocked 25 numbers, I've had it for over 10 years so I was hoping modern tech had increased the numbers blocked, it did. The phone itself works great and is fairly strait-forward to use but the menu system may be hard for a new user/buyer, just use common sense and read the instructions, it gets easy fast. The sound quality is real good and as a senior (and musician of 50 years of blaring amps) the volume is loud enough for even me to hear. I had the handset off the charger for about 30 hours and it still worked good. The main thing for me is that I can now block 250 idiot robo-callers (and others that rub me the wrong way) so now the phone don't ring 200 times a day, also, you can turn the ring off on blocked calls so they don't wake you up at 3am. I'm lovin' this phone so far, had it about a month now.

I've got 70+ hearing, and this phone is even better than the Panasonic it replaced. Reviews I had read were "mixed" on hearing volume, so I'm pleased. I'll be interested to see if it will increase the volume of my cellphone if sent through this system. I haven't set that up yet. My old phone only had 2 handsets, so having 3 now is a nice bonus. Old phone had small keypad. These numbers are much larger, and the read-out is also larger. Both are nice improvements over the old phone. More complicated to set up than my last multi-handset phone, and I don't need all the features this one has, so I've been lazy about really using everything it has. Easy to save numbers though. Same as the old phone. I had a lot of numbers stored, so will take me a while to finish that. I have only 2 phone jacks in my home, so these multi-handset phones are terrific! With 3 handsets, it's like having another phone jack.

    Works with iPhones &iOS 10

I tried AT&T and Vtech Link to Cell enabled phones. They both worked with iOS 9 but when iOS 10 came along they both failed to stay connected to the cell. They would allow you to answer the call but then the iPhone would take over and you could't use the handset unless your standing next to the base to push a cell button (can't do it on the handset) nullifying the whole reason for link to cell. AT&T even said a lot of the other phones out there work so they have no plans to change. Only this Panasonic phone works (although other Panasonic phones may work also). Its features are decent if not simple but that makes it a good supplemental phone for a cell based household. We use it with Ooma VOIP service and our cells. For the record there are a multitude of bluetooth remedies for iPhones and none them I found worked for me. Thank you Panasonic.

I bought this for my mother to use as an extension of her cellular phone as I convinced she did not need a land line. She always seems to turn the volume on her cell phone and misses all calls. This phone's base connects to your cell phone's Bluetooth. So any phone call can be answered by any of the phones. So you can put a phone in every room and answer your cell from any of them. It will also support your land line if you still have one, but the convenience of answering you cell phone from the phone that is in the room you're in is its best feature. It also allows you to block calls, use as a speaker phone, etc., but these features are generally expected now a days.

Some essential functions very hard to use.

Pluses: great sound, ability to block robocallers, easy to switch to speaker mode, attractive phone set, the three phones sync with each other automatically. Minuses: Bringing up a phone number on your contacts list is the most cumbersome and tedious of any phone I've ever used, the phone doesn't stand up on a flat surface like your desk for easy hands free talking, great call block function gives you only about a second or two to block the caller (including the SOB who wakes us many mornings at about 6:30), hard to access and browse through your missed call list. In summary, I hate this phone and am very sorry I'm stuck with it.

This is my first phone with Bluetooth capability. It is very helpful if I can't remember where I left my mobile phone or left it downstairs when the phone rings and I am upstairs. The voices on the cordless sound hollow if the caller dialed my mobile number but it is easy to switch back to my mobile if desired and using the cordless gives me time to find my mobile. I like the cordless chin rest but most of all I like the easy way the cordless switches to a speakerphone. It is really easy to hear on speaker phone and usually the person on the receiving end cannot guess I am on the speakerphone because the voice quality is very good.

I love this phone. It was easy to sync my iPhone's contacts with it. It's easy to use. The talking caller ID is an awesome feature and so is the one touch caller ID block. It has many features that I love, especially the sync-to-mobile-phones feature (can sync to two mobile phones). You can decrease the volume if it rings too much in any room (especially with my mobile phone and texts). In addition, it notifies you when you receive a text message on your mobile phone! It's very easy to use and awesomeness abounds on the features!!! It's incredibly easy to use and the volume is sufficiently loud enough. Great product? Recommended!
