Manufacturer reported Features
Nanoe™ hair dryer adds volume, minimizes frizz and reduces damage to hair from brushing
Infuses 1000x more moisture into hair than typical ion hair dryers
The unique quick dry nozzle provides dual airflow for faster drying
Style while you dry with three pro-quality nanoe attachments - a dual airflow Quick-Dry Nozzle is designed to dry hair faster; a Concentrator Nozzle provides focused airflow for precise styling; a full-sized Diffuser adds volume while combating frizz
1875 Watts, two speeds, three heat settings, three attachments included
The Panasonic Nanoe Hair Dryer is a powerful blow dryer features three heat settings and a cool shot button. It also uses “nanoe heating technology”, which adds volume and shine to your hair by producing nano-sized electrostatic water particles which hold more water than negative ion producing dryers. It forces moisture into the hair, increasing volume and shininess and adding strength to prevent breakage or dryness caused by heating. The cool shot is particularly helpful when you are curling the hair and don't have time for it to cool on it’s own.
The dryer looks well constructed and has good balance in your hand.
This professional hair blow dryer comes with three different attachments and includes a two-year warranty.
This hair dryer is black and pink in color. There are no other colors available.
This blow dryer features 1,875 watts of power, which makes it ideal for all hair types. The high settings have enough heat to quickly dry thick and coarse hair and the low settings are great for thin or fine hair.
Some other features are a removable air filter that you can regularly clean and a long 9-foot power cord. It also has three attachments that connect to the front of the dryer, more than most other dryers. A quick dry nozzle for fast drying when no styling is needed. A concentrator to help with making those curls and a diffuser to help dry while keeping waves or curls intact adding volume.
I asked my wife to try the dryer, she has problems with other dryers causing her hair to be dry or brittle. This dryer did in fact make the hair more shiny and add volume. She also found it easy to handle and was able to create curls that lasted all day long. The cool shot worked great for this during her morning rush!
If you are looking for an upgrade in your hair dryer this would be a great choice.

First I would like to disclose that I received the Panasonic EH-NA65-K hand-held hair dryer with nanoe™ technology in exchange for my review.
Being a man with average length hair, I am not the target audience for this particular product, but I have used a hair dryer on days I am leaving the house, for forty-plus years. I think that qualifies me to make a few observations based on past experiences.
I have noticed in more than one place that this dryer is referred to as black/pink. The trim color looks red to me under “warm," incandescent light bulbs, but does have a slight pinkish hue in daylight from the window. The main body color is a matte black finish that gives the product an expensive look. While it does not have a cord reel, the long cord is nice to have especially if you are using the dryer someplace other than at a bathroom vanity. The dryer I was using before the Panasonic was delivered has a retractable cord and I do not especially care for it as I found the cord a little on the short side and I never retracted it anyway (it was a hand-me-down from my wife). The switches on the Panasonic for fan speed and air temperature while not Lexus-like in feel, do appear to be a little nicer than other hair dryers I have experienced. The three included accessories easily, but securely, snap on and off of the dryer’s nozzle. Overall, the product makes a good first impression, as it should considering the MSRP price point.
The first thing I noticed about the Panasonic when I used it was that it is noticeably quieter than the dryer I was previously using. Since a hair dryer spends its working life about a foot from your head, I decided to round up all of the dryers I could find (current one, one from a suitcase, and one I took to work to remove stickers) and compare them with the Panasonic using a sound meter app on my phone. I will refer to them as A, B and C. Dryer A has two fan speeds, and it produced 80 and 91 decibels respectively at about 12 inches from my phone. Dryer B has three fan speeds that produce 76, 85, and 87 decibels. Dryer C has two fan speeds and produced 76 and 89 decibels. The Panasonic has two fan speeds and produced 72 and 81 decibels. In my opinion, a very noticeable, and welcomed difference in noise output.
I then checked the heat produced at the nozzle using a hand-held, laser-aimed, infrared thermometer. I checked a few different spots at the nozzle exit and aimed from the side so that I wasn’t aiming directly at the heating coils. I also did not take measurements of the “cool” setting as that is just the fan blowing air without the heating elements running. All of these hair dryers claim 1875 watts of heating “power," so I kind of expected similar temperatures on their “high” heat settings. Dryer A has two heat settings and produces temperatures of 117 and 148 degrees Fahrenheit with the fan running on the low setting. Dryer B cannot adjust heat and fan settings separately and since it has three fan speeds, it has three heat settings also, producing 108, 125, and 157 degrees Fahrenheit. Dryer C (again separate speed and heat adjustability) produces 126 and 144 degrees, both while using low speed on the fan. The Panasonic EH-NA65-K with separately controlled fan speed and heat settings (in my opinion, the only correct way to make a hair dryer), produces 110 and 150 degrees Fahrenheit on the low fan speed.
The last thing I could measure objectively was the weight of the hair dryers. This can make a difference for some people when they have to wave this thing around their head for 10 minutes or more if they have long, thick hair. Dryer A which happens to be an ionic dryer and the one with the retractable cord, weighs 1 pound 3 ounces. Dryers B and C which are bare-bones and inexpensive, weigh 13 ounces and 12 ounces respectively. The Panasonic which at first glance looks somewhat big and bulky, also weighs 1 pound 3 ounces. All weights were taken on an electronic, digital food scale with the cord supported so that it didn’t influence the measurement. I have also attached a picture of the four dryers to illustrate their relative dimensions.
Would I recommend this hair dryer based on performance…absolutely. At this price…definitely not for everyone.

This was the first new hair dryer in our house in a while, and I had no idea how much more powerful and useful they had gotten while I was not in the market for a dryer.
Attachments:
The tips are versatile and useful for different hair types and different styles. While the tips wont reduce the number of other styling tools you probably keep in your bathroom, they ARE quite useful - Diffuser, quick dry, and concentration heads.
Build:
This thing feels solid with good controls that won't break for quite some time and easy to operate. Extra long extension cord with the usual built in fusing that was appreciated. It is light and easy to hold with an ergonomically styled grip.
Use:
This dryer is POWERFUL. the 1,875 watts of drying power are apparent when you turn it on. I was surprised at how quiet it was on the highest setting, still not going to set any records, but quite a bit less noise than my previous hair dryer. The Nanoe technology reported to leave as much moisture in my hair and not damage it, while still getting me to a dry place... this seemed to work okay. I didn't feel any significant difference from other driers, but time will tell. Also warranty at 2 years instead of 1 was a plus for me.
Overall:
Very impressed, this is a solid great product from a known household name that will serve you well. Excellent Versatile Hair Dryer!

The Panasonic - Nanoe Hair Dryer looks and feels like a professional salon hair dryer. It is slightly heavier than your standard generic hair dryer, but not by much. The nanoe outlet appears to work the same way as the ionizer on compressed air tools for electronics, though it is hard to tell. My daughter has been the primary user and she does claim that straightening her hair afterwards has been a bit easier, so I would say it is retaining moisture compared to her other dryer. The extra attachments also help make styling easier as you can direct the flow or use the diffuser to dry without blowing your hair everywhere. The speed and temperature controls are independent of each other, so you can have no heat but full speed.

Really like this hair dryer, it really dries the hair without leaving it harsh or dry, if that makes any sense. There are 3 attatchment for the nozzle. liked the smallest one, the other two are for other types for people with larger hair I guess. One thing my SO didn't like is that is a little heavy for women I guess, but for me, it was just ok not heavy at all.
I liked the detail that it has an LED light so you can see better!

So far I am loving this hair dryer. I like the multitude of options, with two speeds, three temperature options (four if you count the cool-shot button), and three attachments. Plus, it looks rad. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it is hard to hold for a long period of time. It's heavy and the handle is awfully wide. After about 5~7 minutes my hand starts to hurt a bit and/or gets tired. I cannot tell if the Nanoe technology is actually doing anything. I recently cut my hair, so it's healthier in general. We'll have to see if it stays this way as it grows out -- and if I can build up the muscles to hold this beast long enough to dry long hair.

Great hairdryer with a strong gust of air that is able to dry your hair faster. The nano technology helps dry your hair without overheating and damaging the hair, leaving it shinier and smoother. Only complaint is that it could be a little heavy after you've been holding it for a while.

Panasonic is known for its electrostatic atomized water particle "Nanoe" technology that was originally developed in Japan. I was looking to purchase more sleek-looking NA-99 import but due to the voltage difference between Japan and the US, I opted for NA-65; a step-down model designed for entry US market. This is a great product if you understand the benefits of Nanoe and wish to invest in the outcome of healthy looks that are incredibly soft, smooth and shiny for days to last. I personally feel that Black, Asian and Hispanic people with medium to long hair with volume will most benefit from this product. If you are someone who has very little or fine/limp hair to work with, it would be difficult to see the benefits or live this through experience. As others have mentioned, it does feel a bit bulky in your hand and the esthetic appeal of this model is not so great but these cons can easily be outweighed by the amazing electrified water particles Nanoe produce which penetrates deep into your hair cuticles. The drying time is about the same as any other 1875 watt hair dryers I've used (Conair/Revlon ceramic). One thing well-worth mentioning, which was originally quoted by a friend who had recommended this product to me, was the fact that I stopped losing a lot of hair and now I can see much healthier hairs growing in the receding line where I used to not have any hair. Reduced one star for a high pitch noise I find very annoying when turned on. Your hand and running fingers will also be a bit sticky from the chemical reaction (but again, I'm happy with how my hair looks and my scalp feels at the end so I can overlook these minor flaws). Overall very satisfied and make sure you shop around because Best Buy does offer a price-match.

I couldn't wait to try out this hair dryer. This unit has 1,875 watts of power, which is more than enough power to dry long hair. The Panasonic Nanoe has 3 different heat settings (from low to high). It also features a cool shot button, which allows you to throttle down the heat to prevent your dryer from over-drying your hair. This unit boasts noise levels at 87 decibels, which is easily one of the quietest hair dryers that I've ever used. The dryer is easy to hold, is light and has a good feel in your hand. The Nanoe technology seems to keep my hair moisture at an acceptable level. After use my hair retains its natural shine and softness. The unit comes with a (LONG) 9-foot electrical cord. No extension cords needed with this one. NICE! The Nanoe comes with several attachments (a concentrator, a quick dry nozzle, and a diffuser). You will have to try out each attachment and see which one/s work for you the best. All of the attachments are a welcomed addition and I used them all. Warranty is advertised at a length of 2 years, which is a decent amount of time. Overall, the Panasonic Nanoe hair dryer is a pleasure to own and use. You won't be disappointed with this choice. Great product.

This dryer is AWESOME! It dried my hair the fastest of any dryer I have used. I am Puerto Rican with curly thick hair and this dryer made quick work of it. What I look for in a dryer is dry time, functionality, and attachment effectiveness. I would recommend this to anyone who is tired of spending time drying hair and wants something that is intuitive and natural. Although a bit heavy, it is well built and definitely a top shelf product. Compared to other dryers it is faster and more has more functionality. It has 3 speeds and 3 temperatures.
Pros
-Easy to style. It was easy to get the style I was going after.
-Attachments. It has a diffuser which is great for curly hair and adding volume. the quick dry attachment is my favorite! It also comes with a pinched nozzle.
-Effective and efficient. It didn't burn my hair and left it almost like a salon trip. Smooth and shiny is what you get with this.
-Intuitive. Buttons are wonderfully laid out and simple to use.
-Advanced technology. It uses ion technology which leaves hair shiny and not frizzy.
-Quick dry feature. Alternates weak and strong air flows to move hair and dry more effectively using the quick dry nozzle..
-Healthy Mode. Enable this setting to ensure you don't burn your hair and damage it.
Cons
-Weight. It's a bit heavy compared to other dryers, but again I will use this because of the speed and end result.
-Price. This is a great dryer but you get what you pay for. It will be out of reach for many because of the price, but if you care for your hair you will buy this.
-Not travel friendly. Large and is heavy.
Dryer is 4 out of 5. Attachments you get are an added value for the price. I'm a tough sell... almost never give 5 stars. Easily this is a five star product for anyone else.

I absolutely love this blow dryer!!! This is the first time I have ever, not have had to straighten or curl my hair after I blow dry it to get out the frizz. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the size, it's a little larger than most blow dryers. But if that's what it takes to love my hair after just blow drying, than I'll take it!

My wife has been using this for a few days now and she's really impressed with it. She said although it's a little heavier than her other hairdryer, "not that much more though", it's quieter on high setting and seems to blow just as hard. She really likes the separate settings for fan speed and heat, her cheap one only has one control for everything so you can't balance heat and speed. She also likes that it comes with different attachments and she mainly uses the clear concentrator.
I've used this a couple times and it works as well as my cheap one, I've noticed it is heavier than my really cheap dryer, that may be of a concern if you have strength problems, no problem for either of us though. And what can I say, "I'm a guy, it dries, done deal". The construction is much sturdier than my cheap unit by quite a bit, probably the reason for the extra weight. And something both of us noticed, the cord is really long, much longer than either of our cheap units. I also like that it has a removable air filter that's very well secured but easy to remove and doesn't fall out easy.
Overall it works like it's intended, it dries, not sure about the price, my wife thought it's a little steep but felt the quality of it probably justifies the cost. Will have to see how it holds up over time.
