The Panasonic Streaming, 4K Ultra HD Hi-Res Audio with Dolby Vision 7.1 Channel DVD/CD/3D WiFi Built-in Blu-Ray Player is fantastic. It is matched to our new OLED C2 TV. We have played DVDs, professional CDs, homemade music CDs, Blu-Ray movies and 4K Movies. All played flawlessly. Our only desire is that the C2 could play our 3D movies.

Beautiful Blue-Ray Player. Purchased to go with my new LG 66" 4K. Purchased the player along with some of my favorite Blue-Ray disks. Easy to install and connect. No problems on set up, worked as described. Lots of nice reviews on the net for this device and I read most of them before jumping in. Not disappointed in this product, very glad I purchased it. Beautiful picture quality with no hangups.

I've only been using this player for the past few weeks, so these are still fairly early impressions... THE GOOD 1. Player is able to handle every triple-layer disc that I've watched so far. Cheaper players have rampant reports of freezing on these BD-100 discs. Every disc that gave my wife's Sony X700 player an issue has played flawlessly here. 2. Player does a good job automatically detecting and switching to Dolby Vision. THE BAD 1. Evidently, while it has excellent video playback capabilities, it fumbles badly with audio. Specifically, DTS-based tracks are noticeably out of sync with the picture (for reference, I have an LG Atmos soundbar and LG Nanocell 90 model TV). So far, changing the player's audio delay (found in the settings menu) to 120 ms appears to sync the audio and picture on DTS-based movies. However, even some Atmos movies need manual tweaking. I've started putting small labels inside the disc case with the optimal milliseconds (ms) delay. Seriously, for $500, I should not have to play a guessing game with each disc. 2. And they couldn't even give us a backlit remote :( All in all, this is the best choice, but it's the best choice out of a bunch of problematic players (and there aren't very many models out there). While irritating, adjusting the audio delay only takes about 20 seconds (each time...so if you don't guess right the first time...). I'd much rather deal with that than have discs freezing up.

This player fits the bill. It does Dolby Vision and HDR and will switch automatically. The HDR optimizer is perfect for OLED sets which can't hit the same maximum brightness that LCDs can. There are a fair number of items that can be configured so I'm not sure it's for the beginner but it's great for those who like to tweak.

Absolutely best UHD player you can buy under $800 and competes with players costing much more. Has support for all HDR formats, so you are covered for both Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The tone mapping feature of this player is really good and makes the overall picture better on any display by match itself to the display type. Got it on sale for a $100 off so definitely a no brainier.

It does a fantastic job upgrading blu ray to 4K. The HDR optimizer is a great tool . Have to play around with it to get the best picture. The sound is much better for some reason. I don't know if the blu ray player is decoding prior to sending to the reciever but I can hear the difference. It also does 3D and dolby vision

The convenience of having instant dolby vision toggle and having the hdr optimizer for movies that dont support dolby vision make hdr 10 look so much better. Definitely worth the money.

Panasonic has delivered a solid product that delivers on everything promised. If you've abandoned physical media for streaming I can't tell you how impressive it is to watch or hear something as it was meant to be. It's also nice to know that I actually OWN the media. Even the older, DVD-based media is far and away better than streaming content.

Outstanding performance. Runs quiet boots up fast and have had no issues with about 30 discs played so far.

This is by far something I could not do without. I really appreciate the power of being able to watch a movie or TV show instead of streaming. The video quality of movies is phenomenal. This unit is what everyone should have who has DVDs, Blu Rays, 4K Blue Rays to watch.

Excellent product. I have always been a Sony product person and I was a real challenge for me to buy a Panasonic product because I dislike change. Boy what a surprise. I read all of the reviews and this is the one that kept coming up. Picture quality is an improvement over the Sony. The sound in my home theater is excellent too.

Love this player. I bought this so I wouldnt have to keep using my ps5. The picture looks amazing on a oled.

I have been using this Bluray for a couple years and it has been a great experience so far, dolby vision support works great. My only complain is the drive can be noise sometimes, I returned my first unit because of this but the second Unit presented the same issue after a few months ( in a lesser degree) but it seems to fix itself when I place something over the player.

With the oppo 203 no longer offered, this is the new best available. Already vastly superior to my Samsung (only choice at the time in 4k) and I've only run a few movies through it. Picture quality finally good enough for my OLED. Paired with an appletv for the Dolby vision streaming through my Denon/Deftech 5.1 surround system. All is good

Truly a region free Blu-Ray player! Currently hooked up to an older 55” TCL 4K TV and the video/audio from 4K discs and Blu-Ray discs is phenomenal! Can’t wait to upgrade my TV to really let it shine.

No matter upscale or 4k this player really outperform any other 4k player within its price range.
