This player is simply amazing. I’d never thought it would make my regular blu-rays look so good but it really does! As for 4k, not a skip or load anymore on any layed discs.

This is the best blu-ray player you can buy at this price or below. The HD upscaling and HDR features make a tangible difference in visuals.

Great dvd player for the money. Great picture and audio quality. Using with vsxlx 505 and jvc DLANP5 projector.

Added this to my home theater and the picture quality and sound has been greatly improved. Upgraded from a Sony s370 and the difference is noticed immediately. A little more than what I wanted to spend on a Blu Ray player but got it on sale and had a few discounts, so it made sense to take the plunge.

I love the way tvis player plays my 4k movies, they look better then theyve ever looked compared to my other 4k players, i have an oled tv and this player compliments it very well! My only gripe is its apps and apps support this feels like an after thought on this player. Options for app are very, very limited here. But if you want a blu ray player that offers superior picture quality with robust picture and sound options, look no further!

This is the one to buy. There’s a reason it gets such high reviews. Quiet with all the features that I wanted to go along with my 4k tv and sound system.

if you have an OLED and at least a 5.1 setup, you will not be disappointed. I was on the fence for such a long time, I should have done it sooner. I suggest buying a 4K ultraHD movie and you will be amazed!

With Oppo no longer an option, this is the best Blu Ray player currently out and also one of the only players that supports Dolby Vision. With my new LG C8 tv that also supports Dolby Vision, it’s a rock solid combination. Very quick load times, nice interface, and I love that the remote has an open/close tray button (my previous one did not). Very happy with the picture quality. I researched every player out, and this was in the top in most enthusiasts lists, and again one of the only current Dolby Vision players.

Everything works. Have no complaints. Produces gorgeous 4k hdr video. Smooth video playback. No glitches as of yet. I can't compare to any others as I have not had any other blu ray players but you can't go wrong with this one.

The sound quality is very good. The picture quality of my DVDs using this Panasonic device is excellent. Of course, I do have a Roku 2023 TV that I also purchased from Best Buy.

Upgraded to this 4k blu-ray player from the Samsung ubd-k8500 being that was several years old. I figured technology wise, the sound and picture would be better. It definitely is. Excellent picture with a few more picture setting options than previous player.

I wanted to purchase a 4K Disc player to replace my XBox 1S. This player didn't disappoint. It was a dramatic difference in picture and sound between this player and my Xbox. If you have a home theater with a 4K display, then this player is a must.

After a enthusiastic recommendation by a Best Buy staff member, I took a long time researching this player. I finally decided to go for it and I have not been disappointed! Everyone who’s seen what it does for movies on my tv has been thoroughly impressed. I love it!

I have a huge library of blu rays, so the upscaling was high on my list of priorities. I am not disappointed. Obviously it doesn't match 4k UHD blu ray disks, but it is on par with the compressed 4k streaming content I get from Netflix, Amazon, etc... So far, UHD blu rays are better than I expected. The color is what I noticed more than the detail. Overall very happy with this player and hugely grateful that I can still enjoy my regular blu-rays. Getting the $100 off price was worth waiting for.

Bought this during BF. Didn't set it up right away but got around to it this week. First night, worked just fine. 2nd day it stopped reading the disk. Google "UB820 no read error" and there's and there's tons of people with same issues due to poor QC. Besides the dead player, very laggy UI and very outdated. First time using the remote was a bad experience too due to the Netflix button being positioned extremely poorly. Honestly expected better from a $500 device. Luckily I'm still within the return window and will be taking it back tomorrow.

Best 4K UHD blu-ray player currently on the market. With the Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision features, theres nothing this machine can't do.

Works very good, plays all formats even foreign coded blu rays. Biggest selling point is the dolby vision which other lower end video players don't have.
