Looking for a device that supports both HDR 10 and Dolby Vision. This fit the bill. A little pricey but worth it since it supports both formats. Quiet operation and boots discs up fairly quickly.

Easily as good as my old Oppo blu ray player.Dose everything well. But I wish it played super audio cd's. That is the only thing it lacks. I wish Panasonic would bring their TV's back to America

Amazing. There are no others words for it. I was using my ps5 for a bit but this is just so much better.

This 4k Ultra HD player works great. Really good quality picture, plays all of my discs. Nothing to complaint about so far. I would recommend it.

Upgraded from a X800 and the HDR option of setting to your liking is awesome. DVDS, Blus, and 4K movies are a joy. It runs and looks fantastic. Def. go for it!!!!

I had the Oppo 203 which had one problem after another. The Panasonic DP-UB820 is hands down the best bang for the buck available today!

The case looks more solid than others lead you to believe. No it is not in a solid metal case, but still looks like a quality product. In a comparison to my older sony blue ray I felt like I could hear more clarity from this unit in side by side songs. Still looking at video quality comparison. Load time seems acceptable. Wish the manual gave more details on how to setup the function options.

Big difference from my LG. I would recommend to the home theater nation. Looks good on my 120" silver ticket fixed frame. Buy this you won't be disappointed

Easy installation SPECTATCULAR picture. I love the user friendly menu.

Best unit you can buy for the money, within reason. Has ALL the features an enthusiast needs. Best of all has AUTO Dolby Vision detection for disc which is so nice (unlike its competitors). HDR Optimizer is a very nice feature to add even better mapping of HDR highlights and shadows. Only issue I could complain about is the popping up of its on screen guide (and not going away easily) if using hdmi controls from the tv's remote. Using the units own remote has no issues with this. Unit does nicely match component width so it is stackable and matches with other equipment. I own 2 of these units and want no others!

To be frank, I bought an open box item that is in not really good shape cosmetically. The very first think I noticed when plugging it in and turning it on: the noise from the disc tray. Further testing it, there are quite a few things not working as advertised: some 4K MKV & MP4 videos playing with no sound (only tested 4 videos and gave up), serious issue with USB 3 port on back when using HDD: couldn't read music, video files on HDD, front USB was even worse. Pros: this player can read/play 4K discs quite fast. Picture quality is very good. Audio from discs (DTS:X, Atmos, etc.) is reproduced as good as expected (not testing extensively as I'm returning it). Final thoughts: as a high-end player, it is not nearly as good as my Oppo 203. These 2 are about at the same price range (of course when 203 was still available), but Oppo 203 is far more superior than this Panny player.

Originally I bought the LG but it was not good and very basic this players leaps and bounds better overall picture quality is superb and just a way better experience it might be a little expensive but it’s worth the price

This is the perfect player. Looks good, and the picture and sound ate breathtaking.
